I loved this book. Caught me from page one! I read it all in one night!
Anyone who follows my reviews will know I’m a big fan of this series, featuring private detective Sloane Monroe. Bed of Bones is the fifth book in the series and has Sloane working with other enforcement agencies to track down a serial killer.
It starts with a nail bomb in a cinema where a film is about to be shown, fictionalising a tragic …
Decent read, so predictable.
Cheryl Bradshaw is an excellent writer! Have enjoyed all of her books that I’ve read!
I love the Sloane Monroe character is one of my favorite series. I have loved Cheryl Bradshaw’s writing from the first book I picked up to read. This book was not a disappointment with lots of twists and turns right up to the end. I could easily relate to the characters and the plot kept me guessing until the end.
Young brothers in Park City, Utah embark on an adventure, with tragic consequences. A woman makes a movie based on the history she unearths, but an explosion destroys its film festival screening. A fascinating mystery unfolds.
Kept me wanting to keep reading.
Ok book. Held my interest. Sloane was likeable. Worth the read.
This was my first read in the series; a little confusing but well worth the read.

Great read
It’s the type of book you don’t want to put down once you get into it. You want to keep going to find out what happens. I love those kind of books that just grab you and won’t let go.

The disguise is a mystery novel which starts with a strong plot premise then melts gradually like the ice in a drink I didn’t want. I keep going back to see if the drink gets better, it doesn’t, and soon the ice is gone, or I can’t find it. The plot for this story was so well …
thoroughly enjoyed this book
I’ve read a couple more books by Ms Bradshaw and have been consistent with my 4* rating. The plots are well thought out, but her character of Sloane Monroe is a little over the top for me. I like a strong female protagonist but not one that is so strong that the male characters ‘pale’ in comparison. The mystery was well kept right up toward the …
