A great mystery! I loved that I was challenged to figure out “who dunnit”.
Procedure not exactly by the book, but it gets the job done
Loved this series!!
I really like this author. She does a great job of keeping you wanted more. Nothings is quite what you think.
Kept my attention from the very beginning!
I read anything and everything Cheryl writes. She never disappoints. Always a good read.
I love all her books can’t get enough.
when you think you have figured this out… think again… phenomenal. sloane monroe is a dynamite character!! she has grit.
This book is part of a series and would probably best be read in its place in the order of things. It is well written and the plot was so interesting that it really caught my interest and kept me reading even though, obviously, some of the character’s interactions made no sense to me and I generally do not like books where the mafia makes an …
This book is a great read!! I couldn’t put it down!
Page turner. Kept me guessing and stayed up late as didn’t want to put it down. Loved it
I liked the book very much
I have read several of the Sloane Monroe books. Usually the story is decent if unbelievable. I just don’t see police departments letting a P.I. take over investigations or even be involved. If you can suspend reality and just go along for the ride, not a bad read.
This book is awesome. I couldn’t put it down

Plus Cade and his daughter Shelby, in my opinion, are way too pushy, with how the barge into Sloan’s life. Plus Sloane ends up saying goodbye to some people she and us, …
Sloane Monroe and other characters in this series continue to interest me.
very predictable
I enjoy everything this author puts out there
A good mystery with several plot twists. Well-developed characters.
Good story and mystery although I thought it ended to quickly.
