PEACE AND QUIET CAN BE MURDER!Fiona Fleming had hoped inheriting her grandmother’s bed and breakfast and returning home to quiet Reading, VT would be a welcome escape from the city life in New York and her cheating ex-boyfriend. She figured the most excitement she’d face would be making beds, pesky customers and the awful stench coming from her grandmother’s ornery pug, Petunia. Instead, she … Instead, she finds herself elbow-deep in clogged toilets, the town blackmailer floating belly-up in her fish pond and she’s the prime suspect.
She’s soon looking for answers in the seedy-side of the tiny town and winds up in dangers she never even faced in the city. While she is surrounded with help from the odd cast of characters in this bizarre town, she’s not sure who she can trust. Her back-up, however, consists of her flighty yet fashionable childhood friend, her grandmothers nosy neighbor and her beloved father who seems to have secrets of his own. Then there’s the buried treasure she can’t figure out and how to get her mind off of how great the new sheriff’s backside looks in his uniform.
Can Fiona uncover the truth before the handsome sheriff puts her behind bars instead of asking her out?

Great reading entertainment with very witty dialog.
Predictable, but very entertaining. I’d love to read the entire series.
Too cutesy for me. Not enough character development.
A very good read, with characters that are believable and situations you can relate to.
I thought I was going to like this book more than I did because I liked the characters so much! It has some suspense, but not enough for me.
Very cute quick read
Cute is the one word summary.
Oh how I love Fee. She is smart, funny, witty, and just lovable. I love her family and Crew as well. I had to read all in the series because they are binge worthy. I can’t say better than that!
Fun, easy read. The dog / heroine relationship is nice–the dog slowly gains love and control.
Very good read
Great easy read
This was a fun. Predictable? Well, sure – a bit. But it was very well-written, with a nice broad vocabulary, good descriptions, and well-rounded characters. It was a entertaining, breezy summer read.
Cute read.
Too much left out
Enjoyed the story with surprise ending.
I liked the pace of the book and the main character was believable. It left me wanting to know more and the Bed and Breakfast town.
Good story development, eccentric characters – overall a fun read. Looking forward to reading more in this series.
Hope to read much more by this author. Well done
Cute and fun story.
I enjoy all of Ms Larsen’s books. I like the “who done it” being an “open book”. Never know who it was. Interesting! Thks
