PEACE AND QUIET CAN BE MURDER!Fiona Fleming had hoped inheriting her grandmother’s bed and breakfast and returning home to quiet Reading, VT would be a welcome escape from the city life in New York and her cheating ex-boyfriend. She figured the most excitement she’d face would be making beds, pesky customers and the awful stench coming from her grandmother’s ornery pug, Petunia. Instead, she … Instead, she finds herself elbow-deep in clogged toilets, the town blackmailer floating belly-up in her fish pond and she’s the prime suspect.
She’s soon looking for answers in the seedy-side of the tiny town and winds up in dangers she never even faced in the city. While she is surrounded with help from the odd cast of characters in this bizarre town, she’s not sure who she can trust. Her back-up, however, consists of her flighty yet fashionable childhood friend, her grandmothers nosy neighbor and her beloved father who seems to have secrets of his own. Then there’s the buried treasure she can’t figure out and how to get her mind off of how great the new sheriff’s backside looks in his uniform.
Can Fiona uncover the truth before the handsome sheriff puts her behind bars instead of asking her out?

I enjoyed this book very much for all the unexpected twists in the story thanks for the entertainment.
Bed and Breakfast and Murdee is a good book. Easy to read, twists and turns through the end.
I really enjoyed this book. A lot of the free books that I find on BookBub have a lot of spelling/typing errors, but this one did not, so that started it off on the right food for me. *Spoiler* I also found it refreshing that the heroine did not end up with the guy by the end of the book (though I wanted her too). A lot of light-hearted, comedy mysteries are a bit too predictable, but I really liked that this one added in a twist I did not even see coming in the slightest. I enjoyed it enough that I actually went and paid for the second one, which is VERY rare for me in free book sequels.
Truly enjoye, twists and turns kept it entertaining
Enjoyed reading
good easy read
Very entertaining! I’ll be looking for more books from this author!
Easy read cozy mystery when you want an escape and to not think too hard!
This book has a familiar but favorite plot: Young woman at loose ends buys/inherits a charming bed and breakfast in a sweet small town. All good. My grip with it is recurring in the books I read with a female protagonist: The plot lurches forward on dumb decisions and bad moves by the heroine. Can’t we have a smart heroine who uses logic to reach conclusions?
Nice easy read. You really get to know the characters in this light mystery.
Liked it. Light reading & a good beach read.
Wonderful inclusion of impact of a pet.
This is a lovely fun read.
A fun read. Really enjoyed it.
I really enjoyed this fun read. Well written engaging characters. Would love to read more from this author
I looooove cozy mysteries!
Good read
Self published – check; extensive use of thesaurus – check; many run on sentences that last and last forever and end up with the reader confused and rereading same sentence over and over – check; 1st chapter about unclogging a toilet … YUCK!
I loved the characters in this entertaining novel. Now I need to read more on Petunia’s and see what happens next.
Not the greatest writer I’ve ever read, but this series was fun to read. I look forward to reading more.
