Catch up with Kirkby residents Scott and Davis as they navigate through the ups and downs of fatherhood, relationships, and juggling… balls. In two years, it’s clear love can last, just as it can grow.Davis’s business remains successful, Scott’s clinic is going strong, and Libby is happy and content. But that doesn’t mean real life is always perfect, nor does it mean fatherhood isn’t as … does it mean fatherhood isn’t as exhausting as it is wonderful.
Needing a break from their daily routines, Davis and Scott head away for a weekend of uninhibited fun. With lots of laughter and dancing, Davis has never seen Scott so relaxed and comfortable in public.
And he’s not quite sure how to handle that.
Worried that life in Kirkby is holding Scott back, Davis nearly makes the biggest mistake of his life.
But Scott has other ideas. He doesn’t need saving. What he needs is his man to step up and fight for their family and their future.
And he has just the plan to do it.
A True-Blue Novella. Not intended as a stand-alone read. I‘ve Got You MUST be read prior to reading this story.

I love a good novella/short story. I do, particularly with how little time I’ve had to read this year.
Becoming Us is such a fun, sexy, and emotional read. It hit all the lovely, warm fuzzies I wanted it to hit. So sweet and hot.
Having read the first in the True-Blue series, I didn’t like Scott AT ALL. At all. So, I kinda want to poke Becca for making me love him so much.
The character growth between book one in the series where Scott a massive jerk and this book is immense. It’s also brilliant done. It’s a bit of a masterclass in a character redemption arc.
And I loved it.
Just sat down and read this in an hour! Loved every bit! It was just the perfect addition to Scott and Davis’ story! And I got a good laugh from Carters Momma again, I swear she’s my mom with that crazy way of asking personal questions! Loved every minute and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series!
Davies and Scott continue their relationship which is growing from strength to strength.
Libby . How happy is she with two daddies…
Sometimes you have reservations also sometimes your lover doesn’t quite understand your feelings or your words . But with talking and understanding each other life grows with wonderful things happening.. This book is the icing on the cake .

Who’s gonna say no to more time with beloved characters? Not me. The more, the merrier.
This book was short, but oh so sweet. Scott, Davis, and Libby have really settled in together, becoming a little family. Scott is so good with Libby. I don’t think Davis is complaining, either. I feel like they balance each other out so well.
After a short trip away from the day to day grind, and a brief encounter with a homophobic stranger, Davis gets a silly idea in his head. I wanted to jump into the book and hug him. After he botched the conversation with Scott, I wanted to smack him just a little bit. It leads to them examining their relationship, and what they wanted out of life.
This book can not be read as a stand-alone, because it’s a follow up to book two. I strongly encourage you to at least read book two first.

This short and sweet novella featuring Davis and Scott a few years later was perfect. It showed the progression of a relationship after a happily ever after ending.
Becoming Us by Becca Seymour is a easy and sweet read. An established couple, a little family actually, finding their way together. Asking themselves questions and finding the true answers in their everyday moments and the people they hold dearest. My heart is happy.
The continuation of the Davis and Scott story. Cute Libby and other characters updates. Love this series and can’t wait for Jaspers story! Marcy is awesome too.
This book was just one big happy sigh!
I loved the first two books in this series so I was very keen to read more about the guys from Kirkby. This story didn’t disappoint, and I enjoyed being able to catch up with not only Scott and Davis, but characters from previous books too.
I loved meeting up with Davis and Scott further on in their relationship, and seeing how they’d settled into not only living together, but life with a toddler. I thought the author did a great job in capturing life with a small child. It felt very realistic and reminded me of my own experiences raising children. I also liked how it wasn’t just Davis’ relationship with Scott that had evolved, but Libby’s too, and how they are now a family
The supporting cast are great, and I particularly enjoyed seeing Carter through Scott’s eyes, as they’re grown into good friends. I enjoyed seeing Scott in his job as a vet, and how far he’s come not only in his relationship with Davis, and accepting who he is, but the difference that has made in his work friendships, and his business. I like Jasper and am very pleased he’s getting his own book. Loved seeing Carter’s mother again. She’s a hoot.
I thought the scene that gets Davis wondering if being in Kirkby was holding Scott back, and how it eventually plays out not only was a reminder that of the not so nice people in the world, but also have far Scott has come since we first met him in Carter and Tanner’s story. I thought both of their initial reactions felt real, and how they tried to deal with it did too. Go Carter!
I loved the ending. It made me happy, and I’m very happy we’ve not seen the last of these characters as I’m enjoying their stories. Reading about them is like catching up with friends.
I’d recommend this story to readers who enjoy sweet contemporary romance with characters settling not only into a relationship, but also being a family.

I’m so glad we got this novella. Catching up with Davis, Scott, and Libby made me very happy. I loved seeing how those two are doing. With Scott’s bumpy start it does a heart good to see him be true to himself. Libby is so adorable and she steals the show when she is in the scenes. She melts your heart especially when she’s with Scott and Davis. Scott and Davis deal with every day in this one, but you also see how true their love is. If you’re a fan of this series than this novella will delight you. I’ve got You must be read first to really enjoy this one. I also enjoyed the set up for the nest book in the series. I really can’t wait to see what in store for the next couple.

Heat Level: 3 (a few steamy moments but then a few “cut scenes” too)
I loved heading back to Kirkby to visit with Scott & Davis!
I loved the time that has past (about 2 years) as we find out where Scott and Davis are and how they’ve adjusted to life together. I enjoyed seeing how much they’ve grown and matured together and seeing them enjoy a much need little break to let loose was a lot of fun! Drunk Scott and Davis are so cute! Add in some possessive dancing and the freedom to be yourself and this is a fun little story with such a true blue core I couldn’t help but love it.
I love that Becca can balance a fun escape with real-life truths. Becca is able to provide a beautiful bit of escapism back in Kirby with some of my favorite characters and the ending is heart-meltingly sweet. I love it!!! If you haven’t visited Kirby, I recommend the whole series!!
