Brandon started out life as a simple gator shifter in the swamp. Now he’s a monster. And beasts don’t get fairy tale endings.Apparently someone needs to explain that to Aimi. The woman with silver hair, and attitude, has this ridiculous notion that Brandon is something else. Something impossible.I am not a dragon. But dragons do exist. They live among the humans and shifters, hidden for the … and shifters, hidden for the moment. His uncle Theo wants to change that and doesn’t care who he hurts along the way. Even family.
Can Brandon stop him before it’s too late?

Liked this book.
Overall it is a good read. The hero was too whiny. This series is a spin off of a spin off series (Kodiak point and Bitten point series) however you can jump in here and you don’t have any trouble following along.
It was a good book I had some trouble in the beginning but was glad I didn’t stop. Good book
Brandon finally escaped the clutches of his deluded, power hungry uncle. Now on the run and attempting to track down his still imprisoned sister, he keeps to the shadows as his new “form” doesn’t exactly blend with the local humans!
Aimi is getting intense scrutiny from her powerful mother to get with the programme and find a “suitable” mate and breed little dragonlings. But Aimi is powerful, mouthy and a bit of a blood thirsty female and wants more than a doormat for a mate. When she comes across Brandon she knows that she has found her fated mate. Pity he thinks she is cracked in the head. He may be a croc shifter but dragons don’t exist. So not only does she have to get the man to agree he is her mate, save his sister and get her mother off her back, Aimi is also trying to explain that dragons can and do exist!
Aimi…well she is the sanest of her family and that’s saying something! Brandon is lovably stubborn in his determination that dragons don’t exist, even when he has proof standing right in front of him! Snarky and downright bloodthirsty family these dragons, do not get on the wrong side of them! Brandons new inner beast just wants to “crunch” the bad guys and you kind of hope he does cos they are a sick bunch. Bit of sibling heartbreak but it looks like all is not as it seems so plenty more surprises to come!
Aimi is a dragon from royalty and very straight forward. Brandon was a gator shifter until his uncle threatened him with his sister. Now he doesn’t know what he is. When she finds him on a rooftop, she knows he is hers. Convincing him is a whole other thing. Brandon wants to rescue his sister but
Aimi is not letting her man out of her sight. They have several different dragons wanting him for themselves. No one will get her mate from her. Poor Brandon really doesn’t understand why she wants him and Aimi will claim him no matter what.
Great story. So very funny. Sexy. Action. I couldn’t help but laugh out loud reading this. Aimi is one woman who gets what she wants, strong and lovable too. Brandon will protect family with his life and Aimi included. He’s angry, no confidence and protective. Loved this book
There is one thing absolutely guaranteed when I pick up an Eve Langlais book, I will laugh out loud. With that in mind, I was in the mood for dragons and since I had yet to read the Dragon Point Series and could use a laugh began reading.
I was not disappointed, Brandon has been changed from his normal gator into something other by his Uncle Theo. Something half man and half monster, at least that’s what he calls himself. Now he travels in the dark, flying from place to place trying to find his sister before his uncle does something terrible to her too.
When Aimi finds him, she doesn’t want to let him go. A dragon in hybrid form on her cousin’s rooftop. Unfortunately for her he does leave her, only to seek her out without knowing the reason.
When he finds her hilarity abounds as her family gets involved, confirming he’s a dragon and so much more.
More laughter, and sizzling scenes as the bond between these two strengthens, the arrogance of the dragons is something to behold.
Lots family type drama, some intrigue and a surprise for all of them will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next.
I absolutely loved it and i would definitely recommend it.
Crazy good, fun to read! Eve Langlais is a wicked genius when it comes to character driven stories! I loved this story right from page one. Aimi is like this irrepressible crazy but forceful new age stalker. She is awesome. Brand does not stand a chance with her. The story itself is tightly paced, with an addictive story line and supporting characters that share in Aimi’s crazy overconfident sexiness. I laughed a lot while reading this. I loved this story! You should read it!
I wrote a review on Amazon.
Funny, the good kind of sassy heroine, great supporting characters. I liked the chemistry between the main couple. I prefert this kind of romance to the over-emotional, dramatic, idealized kind (not that I do not appreciate those from time to time). Recommended.
He learns to accept and deal with what has happened to him. Even to capitalize on it because although there is a down side, there are also positive factions.
Story was choppy and often made no,sense.
Eve is a wonderful paranormal author. Her books read fast and the characters are hot, hot, hot!
Great read
Very entertaining.
We finally get Brandon’s story.
Brandon is the gator shifter brother of Caleb in Bitten Point book 1. I felt so sorry for him as that series went on.
Unfortunately, his uncle Parker has used him in his horrible experiments and altered his DNA. He has been changed into what he feels is a monster and has been made to do bad things for Parker.
He has escaped from his uncle’s laboratory and stays hidden, even from his family, until he can help his sister Sue-Ellen who is being held by Parker.
He meets Aimi of the Silvergrace Sept. One sniff and Aimi claims he is a hybrid dragon, Brandon thinks she is crazy.
Aimi likes the way Brandon looks and smells so she is keeping him, no matter what.
There is plenty of crazy humour, snark and carry on as we have come to expect from Ms Langlais.
We meet a lot of weird family members, including Aimi’s twin sister and a whole cast of cousins, aunties and done forget mother, who is the matriarch of the family.
Becoming Dragon was a fun enjoyable read leaving lots of questions to be answered.
Why did Sue-Ellen behave like that, what is she doing?
What is going on in that laboratory? What other shifters might we find?
Will be fun to find out more about the other dragon Septs and colours.
The story would have been better supported if the language used was not so salty.
