From the author of Saving a Legend (“A deep and moving story about family, acceptance, and love.”—Katy Evans) comes another smoldering MMA romance featuring the Kavanagh brothers, the chiseled alpha males whose real legacy is love. Kane Kavanagh has always had one goal: being the best mixed martial arts fighter alive. With the MMA National Championships in Las Vegas fast approaching, the man they … approaching, the man they call “Killer” has no intention of letting anyone or anything get in his way. Somehow, though, a feisty opponent has slipped beneath his guard—and stolen his heart. Fiery and passionate, Nora Hannigan is harder to pin down than any rival Kane has faced in the ring. And she isn’t afraid to tell Kane that she wants nothing to do with him.
With her best friend about to marry into the Kavanagh family, Nora has been resisting Kane’s shameless attempts at flirting for months. But after their undeniable chemistry finally takes over, leading to the hottest night of Nora’s life, she’s running scared. There’s a lot about her life Kane doesn’t know, and she won’t be responsible for ending his career. Now Kane’s out to prove that he’s ready for a commitment by winning her heart—and he’s never lost a fight.

Kane is now my favorite Kavanagh brother!! We’ve gotten a sneak peak of his relationship or lack there of with Nora in the previous book and I knew it’d be an interesting one. I was not let down. I was surprised to find out Nora was so young. Maybe it’s the old fashioned name or her position at the youth center but I assumed she was older. Nora comes with her own set of issues and in true Kavanagh fashion, Kane wants to save her. The tension between them and the way they go at each other is so funny! Love these two.
Another strong Kavanagh man falling for a fierce independent woman.
Kane is working toward winning the MMA championship believing he needs to prove himself to his family.
Nora is working toward getting her degree and risking it all to help her mother just to feel worthy of her love.
Agreeing to one night, no strings works for about half a second with these two but they’ll need to learn a thing or two before admitting what they truly want.
Becoming a Legend is the 3rd book in Sarah Robinson’s Kavanagh Legends Series. This book can easily be read as a standalone. I have read and loved them all so far. I will be honest and say that I was hoping when I first seen a new Kavanagh Legends book on netgalley that it would be Quinn or Jimmy’s book. They both piqued my interest. Kane was my least favorite brother so I felt a little disappointed that it was Kanes book. Funny that I ended up loving Kanes book more than the first two books! Kane was just so cocky, playful, charming and down right sexy. He snuck in and stole my heart. Nora won me over as well. She was so deep. There was just so many different sides to her. Nora was very likable and down to earth. I could totally understand the things she did and the reason she felt the way she did. I felt very connected to both of them.
Nora and Kane had tons of passion. They both had so much going on in their lives that they didn’t really have time for a relationship, but they just couldn’t keep their hands off each other. There was lots of steamy sexy time in this book and Kane was a beast. I loved the plot, the action and the backstories of this book. All of the Kavanagh family have such unique and cute personalities that they just add so much to the books. I believe Quinn’s book is next and I truly can’t wait to get my hands on his story. The little peeks of Quinn so far are just so good. I just know Quinn is going to be yummy! I also can’t wait for Jimmy’s book either and I hope that cousin Casey gets a book too! Great addition to the series.
These Kavanagh brothers with each book prove more and more to be a God’s-gifts-to-women and almost impossible for every of-the-female-species person on this planet to resist them. Seriously, Sarah might be some kind of witch because, except that she keeps creating better-than-the-previous-one BBFs, I still can’t decide which one is the best; maybe perhaps THERE ISN’T A ONE!
Becoming a Legend is the 3rd part of the irresistible Kavanagh Brothers series; the series with few of the most perfect MMA-fighter book boyfriends exist out there. This time we get to learn how Kane “Killer” Kavanagh, Kieran’s (Saving a Legend) twin and the middle child of the Kavanagh pact, fell in love with Fiona’s (Saving a Legend) BF, Nora. And God, what a story!! Kane is being choached by his bigger brother Rory (Breaking a Legend) so he can win the MMA Championship and become the one sibling who finally gets to become a pro fighter. But he never saw coming Nora and turning his world upside down in a blink of an eye. These two has been backerring for months now, going around and around flirting each other but never go beyond that. That until the point this thread breaks…..
The sexual chemistry that flows between them, both in and out of bed, is off the charts and sizzling hot. And mind that this description is lacking a dozen degrees above. But along with their chemistry, is tagged the deep turned-into-love feelings both were experiencing every time they were in the same room or intimate and never had the guts to admit. And they were one of those moments that actually could feel too the intensity and powerful love running through their veins. My heart was getting warmer and warmer – and let’s not get me started on the swooning – with every chapter that was passing by where Kane and Nora were coming closer and closer.
“I want every single string, kitty. I want your heart.”
There are two things that stood out the most to me while I was reading it. The first was Nora’s mother. My soul and body was hurting for her because of the trauma she was experiencing over and over again every time she showed up in her life. And thank God for Kane’s timing since his appearance trully saved Nora and put her through a much needed format of her inner self. The second moment – and in my eyes the highlight of thid book – was the whole scene in the end; from the moment Kane opened his hotel room’s door until Kane’s fight was over. The way his heart and his mind both knew instantly the final decision on the dilemma he was facing, spoke volumes and showed what pure gold really he was made of.
As for the amazing evolutions on Rory & Clarand Kieran & Fiona, I have no words. Especially what the last two ended up do for their special day, had me jumping on my bed like a 5-year-old waking up ready to open his Christmas presents. Honestly, these two will never cease to amaze me to no end and always catch me by surprise. And it felt so so good to have the chance to devour Shea and Ace moments in this book too. This little girl and dog hads become my soft spots of this series.
And just like I said in the beginning, Sarah Robinson did it again with these incredibly boys and their women. What else there is for me to ask of her beyond “Keep doind what you’re doing!!!!!”, huh? I really can’t wait for more of these three couples in the next book which I hope like hell to be about Quinn because that Kavanagh brother has intrigued me to no end.
3.5 bumped to 4 All Strings Attached Stars. This is the third book in the Kavanagh Legends series and of all the brothers, Kane is the one I least wanted to read about. Oh, he’s funny, snarky, and conceited in the first two books. He’s basically a douchebag. However, there’s something about him when he’s with his family, especially his younger cousin, Casey. In the first two books, you get glimpses of Kane’s potential. Believe me, it’s well hidden.
Kane has had his eye on Nora for awhile now. She’s a sucker for a bad boy, but she knows better than to get involved with this particular bad boy. Then, for some reason or another, Kane starts to show her that potential I spoke about earlier. So, what starts out as a no strings attached relationship develops the potential to become all strings attached.
It’s fun to watch these two struggle with preconceptions and misconceptions. This is a fun, quick, and easy read with some soul searching mixed in between the pages.
Love all the characters so much.
