The second part to this story was so worth the wait. Thia Finn puts her readers through an emotional ringer as we get the conclusion to Becks and Sophie’s story. The book picks up where part one left off and what follows is a rollercoaster ride of upheavals, anxiety, drama and angst. Will Becks and his brother be cleared of the charges against them? What will happen to the band? And what about his relationship with Sophie? This story will just suck you in and won’t let go until you have finished the book! Very highly recommend this book! Of course, you need to read the first book before this one but both books are worth it!
Emotions are high in the conclusion of Beck and Sofie’s story. Beck now accused of the murder of his parents is in a battle for his freedom, his band and his girl. This author keeps the tension high as the brothers deal with their legal issues and Sofie and Beck deal with the band and their relationship. A great story well told with all the feels and emotion bubbling out of every page. I wanted to reach out and protect them as no one ever did. The abuse and treatment they endured broke my heart. The author even takes the time to provide resources for people in trouble. Awesome read and a story of abuse and rising above not becoming part of the cycle. Loved Beck and Sofie’s story of survival and love overcoming it all.
Wow! Part II is an emotional read, as Becks and Sophie explore thier new love, it is quickly tested by his past.
It is an emotional journey but like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Beck, Sophie and his brother rise and move past the Judge and his shackles
A moving romance with love and loyalty told as only Thia Finn can tell it. Highly recommend!
Holy Rock & Rolling Rockstars!!!!! This was one book that was worth the wait. I was happily rewarded for my not so patient stalking of Amazon to be able to one-click. Needless to say you need to read part one so you can jump into part two and devour, cry, scream, swoon, and fall even deeper for Becks.
We left part one with Becks being arrested and taken away in a patrol unit. Our only glimpse as to why was he and his brother riding away as their family home burned. Did they set the fire?? Did they kill the inhabitants? How could they just leave??
In this final episode all is revealed. Get those tissues ready because you are going to need them. The struggles are real. They are harsh!! Grab this book and discover the world Becks grew up in. Find out what gives him the drive to go on and if and when he will go on.
Will Becks loose his record contract? Will Sophie run or stand by her man? Will Konan stay hidden, or stand with Becks? Most important, are Konan and Becks guilty of Arson and murder?
Becks: Part 2 will start to reveal the secrets that lay beneath the surface and will burst through on a crescendo. Becks and Sophie will be put to the test in both their personal and public lives as revelations from his past come back to haunt him. The drama and chaos that is unfolding around them will be like an ever present beat of a drum. This second part of their journey will have you on the edge not knowing which way to turn, anxieties will be high and nervous energy will hum around you. Strength, love and faith will be needed for a performance like Becks has never known. A romance packed with suspense, drama and passion that will have you become a hardcore SoBecks fan.
So I just wrote my review of Becks Pt 1 yesterday and here I am for Becks Pt 2 today. Did you miss me? Lol. It was hard to not just write the two of them together but I had to separate them. And the really hard part is that this review is just going to tell you how I felt about the book. I am not going to go into anything that is really happening in the book. Why you might ask?? Well because if you read Part 1 then you know that we are waiting for Becks Brother to be called and that Becks past has come back in a HUGE way. Also, I don’t like spoilers!! Why read a book if someone else has already given you all the juice on it, right???
When I finished Part 2 the ARC for Part 2 was due to be released in a week or so (as of the typing of this post the book is already LIVE) and I was telling the author Thia that I needed to know what was going to happen to Becks, Sophie, and SoBecks. Everything was up in the air, how could she leave me like that?? I was almost to the point of begging. SO yes I was very involved with the characters.
So did Thia Finn keep the excitement and hype going in Becks Part 2?? YESSSSS!!! Thia absolutely delivered the goods in Part 2.
As a reader I was kept totally invested and became even more invested with the introduction of Becks brother. I was dodging the pitfalls of not only the music industry with SoBecks but also the judicial system with Becks and Konan, his brother. Thia Finn created enough suspense to keep me guessing and at the edge of my seat without overdoing the situations. The story was real enough that I could see it playing it out in my mind. (Bravo!! I love it when books do that)
My suggestion to you is to grab this series, you won’t regret it. You will find yourself grabbing more of her books though.
