“It has been so long since I have read a series that has kept my interest like this one! I literally couldn’t wait to jump into part 3 of this series and again as with the first two books I wasn’t disappointed! I just can’t help but be swept up in the relationship between Angela and Soren! I really am drawn to them. Again the author did a fabulous job with the writing in this book and I really do love her writing style – I honestly feel like I am on the journey with these characters through the author’s fabulous descriptive writing! I am so excited to read part 4!” -Katie, 5-star review
“Aviva Vaughn just keeps bringing it. Another book in the Beckoned series that I could not put down. The way Ms. Vaughn writes, always is so descriptive and makes you feel like you are right there with the characters. She keeps you on your toes with all the twists and turns. You keep reading because you want to see what is going to happen next. I cannot wait to read Part 4 in the series.” -Dori, 5-star review
“Something I’ve always admired about books is that when you find a well written series each book may even be better than the last, unlike motion pictures where the second rarely adds up. This is just one of the many reasons I’ve always favored a good book over a movie. My point is that I feel this way about Aviva Vaughn’s Beckoned series. I was completely drawn into Angela and Soren’s story in book one, book two blew my mind and yet somehow even after following their story a third time, I NEED to know more.” -Felicia, 5-star review
“This lady has completely captured me with this series, at first I was intrigued to see how a American author would write about the UK and she definitely did it justice. I really feel that Aviva characters really pull you into the story and plays wonders with your imagination not many authors can really do that for me I’ve only got a hand full I will read hundreds of times over and over and she has definitely gone on that list for myself.” -Claire,5-star review
“The whole story/series has been fascinating and captivating- but this book takes it to a whole new level. Ms. Vaughn has upped the ante, so to speak, and produced a story that I devoured in matter of hours. I couldn’t put it down and HAD to find out what was happening. The books just seem to get better and better…. And the love triangle of sorts/the ‘threat,’ and the emotional rollercoaster that this story took me on had me sooooo conflicted. I am now really anxious about the next book, and to find out how the story will end.Thank you, Ms. Vaughn!” -Angela, 5-star review

This was one hell of a story. I really enjoyed reading this. The storyline was really imaginative and I felt at ease reading this book as it flowed so perfectly. I didn’t realise I was reading it so fast as it made me feel so comfortable. I loved the characters and I would highly recommend this book to all thinking of giving it a chance.
“She had been crying off and on, ever since the plane had taken off from London on her return trip bound for her native city of Los Angeles and far away from Soren.”
Picking up right off of where Part 2 left us at, this is the continuation of the love story between Soren and Angela. This time they will try a hand at a long distance relationship, and traverse the course of communication in one of those most difficult situations of a long distance romance.
I would definitely not read this book until you have read the first two and in order. Not only will you not be lost, but they are both amazing books in and of themselves to devour. I heard from that this was the author’s favorite book in the series and I must confess it blew my mind. I adored every minute of the time I spent with Angela, Soren, and Kieran.
The new relationship has the extra complications of distance and is tough to figure out as a new hurdle is thrown into the mix. One Mr. Alpha charming male, Kieran, to be exact. You want to really not like this character, but its one of those you don’t want to look away so you keep watching and enjoying the character out of spite type of character relationship that I found myself having with him. Without giving too much away I will just say that this adds a whole new depth to the triangle love affair type situation that you are used to seeing in romance novels now. Will the relationship between Angela and Soren be able to withstand the tests of time, distance, and jealousy? And watch out cliffhanger! I can’t wait to pick up the story and see how it all ends in Part 4.
I enjoyed how much this was written with vibrance, much like the first two, but even better! Just when you didn’t think that it could be any better! You really feel as if you are taking in the City of Angels in for yourself. Aviva’s ability to bring to life food and locations completely transform you to each and every place that the characters visit. It is of course written in a fan-fiction of sorts to Jane Austen’s works. You can’t deny the connections of writing styles between Aviva Vaughn and Jane Austen. Throw in some awesome lustiness and you have one heck of a nice afternoon all in the pages of this wonderful book.
“Sometimes I feel like I don’t have a partner. Sometimes I feel like my only is the city I live in, the City of Angels lonely as I am together we cry.”
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Ah now this duo finally make it to Los Angeles, albeit by way of a few stops and happenings as well. This author paints a very graphic picture placing you in the story so well that being a native of Los Angeles I know exactly what she’s talking about ad where she is. The picture she paints so well is just part of the story. When Angela finds someone that will support her and her goal to publish children’s books Soren of course has to meet this guy. Angela needs to grow up a little but at least now she recognizes boundaries missing, needed, placement although it may have something to do with her reaction to him. As Soren and Angela look to making their relationship more than a holiday fling she also needs to look at her personal relationships as well.
It’s rocky and not easy watching these two as the start molding and moving forward in their relationship. Ms Vaughn does a wonderful job not only in imagery, she also shows us the changes in each of them as they deal with the intricacies of a long distance relationship. Well done.
Beckoned Part 3 From Los Angeles with Love by Aviva Vaughn
Four Stars
I want to jump in this book and beat the snot out of Angela. Seriously she held onto this guy knowing she had feelings for someone else. I just don’t understand why she couldn’t be a better person. Don’t get me wrong she was nice and outgoing but with matters of the heart she’s a toddler. Where did this Rai guy come from anyway? If the man I love fly’s to me in my families time of need I’m not going to jump down his neck over it. I would be grateful that he came to comfort me. I feel that the story would’ve had a different outcome if she would’ve opened her mouth and told Soren what was happening. She was very immature and selfish in this book. Soren needs to open his eyes to new things. I didn’t understand why he didn’t try to bend or even compromise to make it work. With all that I seriously enjoyed the description of the locations the author gave. So much life in the words had me feeling like I could reach out and touch it or even taste it.
Vaughn continues to weave quite a tale. Best understood if read as part of the series in order. I love these characters and this story so much that I’ve devoured each book quickly. Well written and moving, I highly recommend.
Beckoned, Part 3: From Los Angeles with Love by: Aviva Vaughn was just as captivating as the first two books. I couldn’t put these books down. I love these characters and feel like I’m living their story with them. As previously said, this author keeps me on the edge of my seat and not wanting to put the books down. I really love this series and and am on to read book 4. I give this book 5 stars.
Beckoned, Part 3: From Los Angeles with Love by Aviva Vaughn is the third book in her Beckoned series. You must read the first two book in the series to fully see the story of Angela and Soren unfold. Once again, this series gets better and better with each book.
In this book Angela heads back to Los Angeles leaving Soren in Barcelona. Can their relationship last over the distance? I loved this book the most out of the three I have read. We have all been in a long-distance relationship at some point, so I could really relate to what Angela was going through. Just when I thought that Angela’s and Soren’s relationship was rock solid in walks sex on two legs. His name is Kieran and you love to hate him. How will Angela navigate this new charming threat?
This book had some twists and turns I didn’t expect, but really enjoyed them. I feel like I have gotten to know these characters very well and consider them my friends. Aviva writes with such color and I am transported into her book experiencing the sights and sounds of her locations. I couldn’t wait to read this book and am diving right into the final book.
Beckoned, Part 3: From Los Angeles with Love was a great 5 star read.
Angela has returned to Los Angeles after a not so great scene with Soren at the airport. The way they left things was very unsettling for Angela. When she finally talks to him they make amends and continue their relationship. I had some LOL moments with some of the calls they had, especially when she blacked out and why.
Soren and Angela work on the long distance relationship and of course there are bumps in the road. At times Soren comes across cold and unloving which sends mixed signals to Angela.
Angela also has someone who shows interest in helping her with her business. Could there be more to his intentions?
I am really liking Angela and the strength and determination she has in getting her business going. And we finally get these two in the bedroom and the scenes were hot. The secondary characters added a great element to the story and of course we have to wait and see what happens next in Part 4. Can these two get their HEA.
This is Book 3 of the Beckoned series by Aviva Vaughn and my favorite of the series so far.
I would not suggest reading this as a stand alone or out of order as each book seamlessly weaves into the next.
In this book Angela and Soren take on a long distance relationship and I think there is more conflict and excitement in this book than the first two.
Just like the first two I was fully engaged from begining to end, this one was the only one I read in one sitting.
I loved the charecter development and the introduction to new charecters.
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars!
Beckoned Part 3 by Aviva Vaughn
Four Stars
Beckoned, Part 3: From Los Angeles with Love by Aviva Vaughn is the continuing story of Angela Holguin and Soren Lund. I think this is the best book so far by Ms. Vaughn. This series must be read in order because one follows where the last one takes off. You really need to get all the background from the first two book to what is going on in this story. In this part, Angela is back in Los Angeles and Soren is in Barcelona. They know that they have feeling for each other and intense chemistry, but now they will need to see if their love and relationship can withstand the long distance. Also, added into the mix is a handsome book store owner named Kieran. Soren comes to visit Angela in L.A. and finds the city much different than any place he has ever been. I love the way the author adds the culture of each city the books are set in. I learn amazing fact that I didn’t know before reading the books. This book like the other two in the series is full of twists and turns and life changing question. I truly love the way this series is rolling out and can’t wait to read the next part.
Beckoned, Part 3: From Los Angeles with Love by Aviva Vaughn is the third book in her serial read series Beckoned. Continuing the story of Angela and Soren, we find our lovers on different continents, Angela in Los Angeles and Soren in Barcelona. The feelings they have for each other are easy to see but figuring out a future together isn’t that simple of a task. Deciding if they have what it takes to make long distance work or if they are willing to move to be together. The more I get to read about these two, I love the person that Angela is becoming and seeing Soren coming into his own is a great experience as well. This book is more about the difficulties of a long term relationship and just how far those difficulties will push these two young lovers to the breaking point for their love. The deeper I get into this serial read, the more I grow attached to how Soren and Angela will turn out in the end. Will they finally get their happily ever after or will they allow the distance between them to end what has only just begun for them? Don’t miss out on this great read, and fantastic author, jump on the Vaughn train and get to reading this amazing series!
Beckoned Part 3: Los Angeles with Love by Aviva Vaughn was a little more drama-filled than the last two books; I liked it. After an unresolved goodbye in London, Angela and Soren are trying to make their long-distance relationship work. They have a few bumps along the way, but the biggest challenge is in the form of a Hot Motorcycle riding Bookstore Owner, or as Angela calls him Mr. TDD (Tall Dark and Dangerous). What will Soren do when he finds out who Angela is spending most of her time with? We already know about Soren’s jealous side.
Soren and Angela know how to heat up the pages with their phone calls and form smoke on my kindle when they are in each other’s arms. Angela and Soren have the chemistry but have different takes on life, while Angela and Kieran share something just not sure if it’s more than friendship. Looking forward to the next book to see how this drama will play out.

“If I know what love is, it’s because of you.”
Beckoned: From Los Angeles With Love is the Third part of the “Beckoned” series by Aviva Vaughn. This instalment of the series is where it really gets interesting! The whole story/series has been fascinating and captivating- but this book takes it to a whole new level. Ms. Vaughn has upped the ante, so to speak, and produced a story that I devoured in matter of hours. I couldn’t put it down and HAD to find out what was happening. The books just seem to get better and better…. And the love triangle of sorts/the ‘threat,’ and the emotional roller coaster that this story took me on had me sooooo conflicted. I love the characters and thought I knew how their story would play out. But Ms. Vaughn brought in a bit of a twist, a surprising element, that really drew me in and held me captive the entire way!
I read this book about a week ago and have been mulling over how to do it the justice that it deserves. The whole series has been a surprising find, I never expected to love it as much as I have/do. Ms. Vaughn had my emotions and allegiances all tied up in knots, And I loved every minute.
A lot has happened since the first book and Barcelona. Angela and Soren have had an interesting journey. Now, their relationship will be tested like never before. Will it survive? I really don’t want to give away too much because this story is brilliant, and you really should read it and discover all the juicy details for yourself. I highly suggest reading the first two books in the series, before beginning this one- as the story is a continuation from book one and will give you a better understanding of characters, motivations, backstory, and overall storyline.
This book gives a new meaning to the word sizzling! There are some no-holds-barred romps that singed my eyebrows and melted the screen on my kindle!
This is definitely the best of the books, so far. It had everything you could want in a great read- it was captivating, sentimental, emotional, romantic, seductive, sexy, realistic and entirely believable. I am now really anxious about the next book, and to find out how the story will end.
Another fantastic read from a great author!
Thank you, Ms. Vaughn!
BECKONED, Part 3: From Los Angeles with Love
By: Aviva Vaughn
5 out of 5 stars
The story BECKONED, Part 3: From Los Angeles with Love by Aviva Vaughn is the next part of the amazing romance between Angela Holguin and Soren Lund. The book begins with Angela back in Los Angeles and Soren in Barcelona. They both know that they have intense feelings for each other however are not completely sure where the future will take their relationship as there is a long distance between them. I enjoyed reading more about the business that Angela is starting. She is a person who is driven to succeed. She has also found someone that wants to help her with her business. Is her success with her business the only thing he is interested in? This book shows the difficulty of a long-distance relationship. Angela is coming to understand what a friend meant when they told her about the importance of communication. She also feels that she is getting mixed messages from Soren as he at times is very concerned about her and does little things that are endearing. Then there are other times she feels he is cold and condescending. She and Soren spend the holidays together and an offer is made. What will her response to this offer be? As I read each book in the series I only love the characters of Angela and Soren even more. While there still are times when miscommunications arise and they argue they still profess their deep feelings for each other. Don’t miss reading this book and the continuation of Angela and Soren’s story.
Now we’re talkin! Beckoned part three is where the real action starts. Soren and Angela are learning how hard it is to make a long distance relationship work. It can be especially hard when one person is the jealous type- though for once he may have good reason!
Enter Angela’s new mentor, a hottie on a motorcycle. He’s just the thing to stir the pot and keep things interesting! Not to mention, where do Angela and Soren see themselves in the future? Some big choices have to be made and I feel like this book by far has been the most interesting, full of drama and angst. I look forward to the next one and see what kind of ending is in store, not really sure what I’m hoping to see happen for them all.
BECKONED, Part 3: From Los Angeles with Love by Aviva Vaughn
4 out of 5 Stars
This is the third book in this series and this book continues to sizzle and burn. I adore Angela and Soren. She is powerful, headstrong, smart and demanding of what she knows she deserves. He is respectful, chivalrous, and a bit elegant with how he handles Angela and he loves her. This series is best read in order, so while this book is phenomenal, it is not the best to start off this story. I recommend this store more for the mature reader as this book is steamy and the change and depth of the relationship as it grows and flexes over time can be a bit racy. In this portion of the book, Angela has the opportunity to grow her business and her relationship with Soren is on the rocks. I did not want to like Kieran, the new guy, but it was hard not to. As with the other books, it is a cliffhanger, but I am so hoping that Part 4 will answer all of my questions.
BECKONED, Part 3: From Los Angeles with Love by Aviva Vaughn continues where the other two left off. There are a lot of ups and downs, conflict and love in this story as our main characters Angela and Soren try to keep their long distance romance alive. There seem to be so many obstacles in their relationship. Angela is a free spirit who loves people, new experiences and trying to find her way into writing books. Soren is possessive and jealous and can’t understand some of Angela’s ways. These two do my head in at times and I think they both need to grow up. Angela has some issues to work through but will she be able to and keep what she wants? Will distance be the only thing keeping these two apart or will others try to manipulate their way into destroying what they have? The only way to find out is to read the books. Now onto the next installment to see where these two end up.
