Meet the Gods of the Fifth Floor. They work hard. They play hard. They f#ck harder.Think Madmen meets Suits. They have history. They have a connection. They have unfinished business.BeckMoney. Power. And as many women as I can shake my d*ck at. Apparently I’m living the American dream. In reality, I’m trapped in my worst nightmare. And I can’t seem to wake up. The ghosts of my past haunt my … nightmare.
And I can’t seem to wake up.
The ghosts of my past haunt my future.
The money. The hook-ups. The ad agency. The friends.
I’d give it all up in a heartbeat, for the one thing I want, but don’t have.
Her.
Mel
I’ve worked so hard and sacrificed so much to get where I am.
I should be proud of my achievements.
Instead, my success is marred by guilt.
It weighs heavy on my mind day and night.
My future is apparently bright.
Yet I can’t seem to shake the ghosts of my past.
Each day I remind myself what I have, and try to forget what I’ve lost.
Him.

Take me to the Gods of the Fifth Floor. Did someone say “Confession”; I think I’m going to need it. All four of these men have unique personalities, together they are a force, charismatic, devilishly handsome and always delivering their A game.
Tyler Beckett, Beck to his friends, is the first to tell his story and I absolutely adored this man from the onset. He had his heart shattered by his first love but with the help of his best mates he managed to get on with his life. Enter the mysterious Melissa Reid twelve years down the track, face to face in a business meeting and it all turns to shit.
Mel is the ultimate bombshell in a pencil skirt. She lived in the real world though, she had worked damn hard coming up through the ranks to earn her high profile position as VP in Marketing in a prestigious company. The Gods were out to impress this potential client, but this woman who just disappeared from his life all those years ago, had some questions to answer. This was a sensational read as the story unfolded; it had you guessing all the way through, turning the pages and desperately trying to figure it all out.
Along with the crazy witty banter of all the characters came a couple that were sizzling hot now reunited. He had all the moves, pulling out the big guns; she wasn’t getting away this time. However the love went both ways as Mel was just as broken as her Tyler at having to fade away, causing her to live a life of lies, secrets and half-truths. I felt so sorry for Beck at one point I just wanted to hug him. His character was phenomenal, he was so confident and strong and yet his vulnerability showed through with Mel. She had always had, and will have his heart. When you know, you know! He knew it at 18.
The epilogue was just amazing and my heart melted with the way it was put together. Everyone needs to meet Beck he was just a great guy. I know I’m counting down to meeting the rest of the Gods. I have Raine in my sites, fingers crossed, he is next. This is going to be one hot series.
Beck is the first book in Gods Of The Fifth Floor and a second chance romance. Beck and Mel’s story is one of heartbreak and after 12 years they are back in each others lives, Mel is keeping a secret that could change their lives. Go on their journey you won’t be disappointed. Their story will bring heat, angst, drama and will have you on the edge of your seat as you await the bomb that will be dropped as all is revealed.
