So good! Amy and Angus waited so long to become parents, only to have there dream end in miscarriage. Marta had safely gotten away from her abusive boyfriend, only to discover she was pregnant. God orchestrated these three hurting people meeting and then the healing that was theirs for the asking. I read this in one sitting, it was that good. I just could not put it down. If you like clean, inspiring stories, you can’t go wrong with ‘Because we Dreamed’. I highly recommend. I received this book from the publisher. The thoughts and comments are my own.
I was so happy for this couple in Because We Loved when they found out they were expecting. Finding out the premise of this book crushed me. Such a deep loss to try to deal with. No matter what type of loss someone has experienced, I think the words, emotions, and thoughts showcased in this book would resonate deeply with them. Without giving anything away, there are many more issues that are artfully handled and dealt with, according to Scripture, in this book.
I was gifted a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
A very powerful book that meant a lot to me. The book was clean and easy to read.
I received an advanced copy from the publisher and the review is my own voluntarily.
This was a well developed story with characters that were experiencing real-life problems. I could definitely relate to Amy and her experiences were very much like mine when I was diagnosed with endometriosis. A really good story-line that really got you thinking. I highly recommend this book.
Amy and Angus are real life Christians with flaws. A miscarriage causes they to draw apart in their grief. They both make poor decisions but God draws them back together in a stronger relationship. I received a complimentary e-book from the author. This is my honest opinion.
A very heartwarming story of the pain of miscarriage, losing hope, fighting for a marriage and giving unto others. God’s love is shown throughout and made the story most enjoyable and inspiring. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.
This story shows the power of prayer and how it can overcome hardships you may experience in life, especially during a time of grief. Another wonderful and inspiring book by this author.
I was given a copy and this is my honest review.
I like how this inspirational love story about Angus & Amy shows how sometimes we have to have time to allow God to work out our aches & pains. I like how it teahces us to be on guard for our marriages when we don’t talk about our feelings & work out our marriages together. I like how GOD worked out more than could have beeen hoped for in the end. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
Good clean read! Interesting story line. Might be hard to read for ladies who have miscarried, but is very encouraging and faith filled.
I received an advanced ebook and I am voluntarily leaving my review.
God is always with you through good times and bad.
I feel this is the message of this book.
A very heartfelt story of what Christians experience in their lives and how God shows his love constantly.
The characters are fascinating.
The plot is awesome.
I only hope there is more of this series.
God’s presence was evident in the lives of Amy & Angus. I know He can feel far away when tragedy happens and the messes we can get into can be difficult to get out of. Helping others and befriending Marta made all the difference in helping Amy to heal. Their love for each other is evident throughout the story and you’ll feel their grief and their happiness and not want the story to end! I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All thoughts and comments are my own.
A beautiful story of loss and pain so close to my own heart and experiences. Even when struggling with true loss and pain, trust in God is revealed and healing occurs. These characters came to life for me!
I received a free copy of this book with no obligation to review.
I enjoyed reading this book! This couple has wanted a child for a while and she is finally expecting a child and they are over the moon! Then she miscarriages and losses the baby. They are both devastated and have a hard time accepting this! I recommend this book to anyone! I was given an ARC for this book and these thoughts are my own about this book!
This book is a very emotional journey. It began with grief and grew into acceptance. It moved on to hope for the future, then took a dark path of pain and fear of what was to come. In times like these, it is so hard to see how the future will be. God has it all under control – and the story ends with beauty and joy and love. I am so glad I didn’t miss this journey. (I received an advance reader copy of this book. The review is completely my own opinion.)
This is a very touching story that deals with the grief that accompanies miscarriage. It also touches on the subject of drug addiction/abuse. Once again Juliette Duncan has woven a beautiful story of how when we fragile human’s put aside our own selves, we can help others to grow and flourish in God’s Love and Grace. This story shows the power of trusting God and His purposes instead of insisting on our own desires, and the blessings that follow. I really enjoyed this story and would recommend it to anyone who struggles with grief and understanding God’s ways. I received a complimentary copy of this book, but have freely chosen to share my own opinion and thoughts.
This is an inspiring story of love and loss. This author consistently writes books that are realistic, heart warming, and deal with timely & relevant issues.
Angus and Amy’s story deals with loss, broken dreams, struggling with faith and finally turning everything over to God.
The way the author takes us through their story is so well written. You feel like you are going through their trials and triumphs work them.
I highly recommend this book and all the others that Juliette Duncan had written.
I received a copy of Because We Dreamed from the publisher. All thoughts and comments are my own and voluntarily given.
Amy and Angus are a amazing inspirational couple. When Amy leaves to visit her cousin both of their lives will change. When Amy meets Marta all of their lives will change. You will feel God working throughout this wonderful story. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review. I would give this book a higher rating than a five star review if I could. Juliette Duncan is a amazing Christian author.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author but my view is honest and made voluntarily.

This starts out as a story full of hope and faith. Amy and Angus were expecting their first child and then tragedy strucknand Amy lost the baby. They were heartbroken. She was Thisso upset he left Angus to go to her cousins house to get away. He cousin ran a place for feeding hungry people. Amy met Marta, a seventeen years old who found out she was pregnant. This helped Amy to.get over the loss of her baby. God is in control. A wonderful story of love. I was given a ARC of this book and this is my honest opinion.
Title: Heartache in Loss
Losing a baby, when she so wants to be a mom, is hard on Amy, and she begins to get really depressed, causing her to leave a note for her husband, and taking off to visit a friend. Angus is also hurting, but wants to support his wife, and hopes her trip helps her to overcome the depression, and he wants to be supportive of her. This is another good book by author Juliette Duncan, and you will find yourself drawn into the story, and appreciating the ending, too, as you will see how God works!
