One brief mistake. A world of hurt. No panties. No problem. At least until I slip on the wet floor and go heels over head in front of my colleagues and half the courthouse. Returning to consciousness can’t be more awkward, until I find out who my sexy, argumentative, and bossy knight in shining armor really is. My career may not survive my beaver blunder, and my heart might not survive Owen Grant. might not survive Owen Grant.
Madeleine Ryan tumbles into my life on a wave of perfume and public embarrassment. She falls and exposes herself in front of me, and I find myself falling for her despite the fact she fights me every chance she gets. Being a woman in a good ol’ boy profession demands a certain brashness, but it definitely has me thinking, maybe litigators shouldn’t be lovers.
With stressful jobs and big attitudes, going commando has never been so freeing.

This is a quick, quirky, quintessential romance. This short story continues the theme of the series (accidental flashing of private parts). It’s the type of story that is completely in my wheelhouse as a rom-com. Humor, light – yet a bit of depth, and some very clumsy/funny scenes ,;)
This author has become a no blurb needed – one click author for me.

This series is hilarious and heartfelt. This is book 3 in this series of unfortunate mishaps, but can be read alone but suggest you read them all, theyre great reads!
Maddie falls at work, in the courtroom. No problem, except shes not wearing panties, and is in a skirt.
Owen helps her, and the attraction is instant, but of course she fights him every step of the way!
Great read, loved these characters!
Book 3 in a Scandalous Slip Story: Beaver Blunder written by Gwyn McNamee. Beaver Blunder is just as funny as the previous two stories Dickslip (book 1) and Nipslip (book 2). In book 1 you meet Rafe, in book 2 you meet his sister Riley. Book 3 is all about her best friend Madeline. Madeline and Owen, who also happens to be Tate’s best friend, have a rocky start. Well anyone would have a rocky start after having their skirt fly up when they slip and fall, which would be so bad except she was not wearing panties. Beaver Blunder seemed to go very quickly for me, it’s almost the same length as NipSlip however.
The story itself is just as funny and steamy as the previous books. The only thing I didn’t like was where it skips ahead I felt like it was going so strong and then, nothing, fast forward another great scene and the end. I do love this series though.
I loved this book and highly suggest everyone read it. This is book is part of a series that is full of mishaps but what follows is embarrassment and hot steamy characters. I loved the characters, they are connectable, relateable and lovable. What will happen when Maddie falls right in front of Owen? Owen is hooked but Maddie is to busy being a little difficult. This is a fast read for sure and you won’t believe what happens!

After reading the first two books in this series I had no idea where the author would go with any subsequent stories but she has absolutely knocked it out of the park with this book! I was literally crying at some parts (crying from laugher I should add). I know when I read a book from Gwyn McNamee not to even bother doing anything else because I won’t be able to take my eyes off my kindle screen and that was true again! I loved by D*ck slip and Nip Slip but this one is my absolute favourite! I loved all of the characters, especially Maddie and Owen and it was great to see characters from previous stories appear too! Maddie, that poor, poor girl. I really did feel sorry for her! But I loved her tenacity and the way in which she was determined to get back to work despite what happened. I loved the connection between her and Owen and well I have got to be honest I am totally in love with Owen – completely and utterly head over heels in love with him! I don’t know how this author manages to come up with such amazing characters who are never the same! She truly is a literary master!!
If you have read the first two books in this series then you will 100% love this book and if you haven’t then it can be read as a standalone and you should definitely one click it today!!
Beaver Blunder by Gwen McNamee a five-star read that will have you slipping up with laughter. This is the third book in the Scandalous Slip series, but they can all be read as stand alone and they are all as equally funny and scandalous as each other. This time it’s the misfortune of Madeline Ryan who has one brief mistake that would haunt most people for life, but Madeline isn’t like most people, she is a strong independent woman, she has fought her way up in a man’s world and come out fighting. But sometimes you fight so hard you forget to stop. This may be a lesson to those of us who like to swing in the breeze, never walk on a wet marble floor in heels, get someone to carry you!! Gwen McNamee once again you have made me cry with laughter and blush like a crazy person as I was reading in public!! Who will slip up next? I can only imagine.
Absolutely loved this novel after reading the other two in the series i knew i wouldn’t be disappointed and guess what i most definitely wasn’t. It’s one of those novels that you find yourself smiling through alot just because it’s an amazing romantic comedy with a brilliant storyline you may find your cheeks ache after finishing due to so much smiling and laughing. With all the laughter there is some incredibly hot scenes too which will have you hot under the collar! It’s not a very long read but still leaves a lasting impression and it flows beautifully i highly enjoyed it. This is a standalone novel but i recommend reading the others just because they are so good you will gwt hooked to each and everyone and will not be left disappointed if anything you will be left wanting more!
Beaver Blunder by Gwyn McNamee is the 3rd book in the Scandalous Slip series, following on from Dick Slip and Nip Slip. Each book can be read as a standalone even though characters appear in more than one book.
Having previously read both Dick Slip and Nip Slip I knew I was in for a hilarious romantic comedy and I wasn’t disappointed.
Imagine being a woman trying to prove yourself in the male dominated world of law. You’re too busy working on a case that you get behind on your laundry so decide to go commando. That just happens to be the day that you’re rushing to court and slip on the wet floor, landing with your skirt around your waist and your lady bits in full view to all the other lawyers and judges around you. Mortifying or what? Even more mortifying is that the guy who comes to your aid is sexy as sin. A recipe for disaster? Or a recipe for true love?
This book will have you in hysterical laughter one minute and make your lady parts tingle the next (well that is if you have lady parts!)
As with the other 2 books in this series my only complaint is that they are short. I’d really have loved to have got more of Madeline and Owen. However it was nice to get an update on Riley and Tate from Nip Slip. I sincerely hope that Gwyn McNamee writes more stories in the Scandalous Slip series.
This is my favorite book in this series!
Gwyn McNamee writes an intelligent, witty, sexy story every single time that is entertaining and arousing in every fantastically thought out and beautifully articulated detail.
What a fantastic opening line once again! So stinkin’ true, seriously…
Of all the ways to meet your hero, falling head over heals sending your skirt up around your waist while you’re pantiless and bare – not ideal – for your pride or your career. Poor Mads!
Madeline Ryan is in a rush to get to court. Owen Grant happens to witness her blunder in the courthouse hallway. He jumps to her aid in covering her cooch and keeping her still until paramedics can get to there. Their attraction is immediate. Chemistry sparks. She’s whisked off to the hospital and Owen can’t help but worry about how she’s doing. When he gives in and goes to check on her – she’s difficult and embarrassed but attracted to him too. He’s intrigued. They test each other. She pushes him away. Does she realize her feelings and apologize in time? Or has she pushed too far and lost her chance with Owen all together? You’ll have to read and find out!
A funny, short, sexy-romp. Aren’t we always told by our mothers to wear clean panties because you never know when you’ll have an accident? Madeline is a tough criminal attorney who, on the one day she goes commando for lack of clean laundry, has a serious wardrobe malfunction. Owen is the civil attorney who tries to help her, and manages to eventually break down her walls.
In true Scandalous Slip fashion an embarrassing moment brings two people together. It was definitely fun, and just the right amount of sexiness for the length of the story. Great for a quick read.
