Sometimes you can’t get by on charm alone. Prince Henry is used to fielding the pitfalls of fame, even when he has to dodge threats on his life. With the political climate growing dangerously volatile, everyone he comes near is suspect for trying to take down the throne. When Henry stumbles upon a woman who makes him view the world in a whole new light, he knows he can’t ignore the tug Ella has … can’t ignore the tug Ella has on his heart.
When Ella finally helps Henry see that the kingdom might be headed in the wrong direction, political rivals begin to attack. Caught between his desire to be a good leader and his need for more of her, Henry must decide if the path he’s chosen will lead to a stronger future, or if following his heart will be the ruin of a kingdom.
This is book three in the “Cursed Beauty” trilogy by USA Today Bestselling Author Mary E. Twomey. All books in this series can be read independently.

Modern Cinderella at its best. Would you imagine her to appear as a sort of, eh, car repair self-service? Truly a nice twist to the classic. Also the way the prince and Ella kept in contact and worked together to prevent a plot to take place, after becoming acquainted in the strange way they did. Moreover, despite the danger of the whole situation, the main characters’ interaction was always full of light, humor, and in general great dialogues that provided better feel of who Henry and Ella are than just plain observations of their actions (understatement of course, nothing in this book is plain).
Beautiful, magical environment of the fairytales entwined with the reality of our modern world and a strong heroine that knows how to protect herself. Aside from dear Ella and the one and only prince Henry, it is a pleasure to watch the characters from the previous two books make appearances again and see the loose ends tied at last.
The setting for this book has a strong fairy tale feel, with castles and royalty and magic and beautiful dresses. But it also include modern amenities like cell phones and cars. And somehow they don’t feel out of place – Twomey makes it all work. Likewise, the story has all the elements you are looking for an a Cinderella story, but tweaked for modern sensibilities. This Cinderella has taken steps to protect herself, and doesn’t need a Prince to rescue her, but she still welcomes his strong arms and support when her stepmother becomes too oppressive. She discovers strengths and abilities through the book, but also discovers that sometimes it is ok to be vulnerable and accept help.
Henry has been a key player in the previous two books of this series, and a scene stealer every time he showed up. It was about time he finally got his own story – and happily ever after. He is the irascible flirt to the end, and the truest friend to those he loves.
While all three books in this trilogy could work as standalones, this book also helps bring everything together and is a fitting conclusion to the series. The events in this book take place during the same time as Beauty’s Cursed Beast, and offer another perspective on a couple scenes from that book.
This is a great retelling of Cinderella. It’s well written and I love the twists that the author has put on it! I love Henry and Ella and although their journey is fraught with danger their love and romance conquers all! I would definitely recommend this!
Entertaining re-telling of a favorite with lovely characters. It took a few chapters for me to get into the story but then I was captivated by Ella and her prince, Henry. I really like this author’s writing and engaging storytelling. I look forward to additional stories in this series.

Modern touches are infused into this age-old fairy tale that is sure to keep your attention from the first word to the very last. This installment of the retelling of fairy tale favorites has recurring characters from the previous two. The author does an amazing job weaving all the tales together for an entertaining read that embraces the “adult child” in you! Ella, the star of this book, is a true to form Cinderella, as you remember from childhood. Charming, sweet, likable and kind. Never fear, there are those evils that you just love to hate, you just can’t help yourself. A winner all the way. Take a chance on this, you will be glad you did. I have never read a book by Mary Twomey that I didn’t love.
The storyline definitely got my attention at the very beginning kept me interested in the twist and turns along with the challenges did not see coming.
This book is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. This was the first I’d read and I will be picking up the rest of the series soon. It’s a modern take on a classic fairy tale. It’s both quirky and heart warming.

Mary has a way of creating such sweet characters. I get so attached. I want nothing but the best for them and who wouldn’t? They become a part of you!
I was really hoping for a special girl for Henry and Ella is perfect for him! But things are….complicated. More so than you’d think trying to date a prince. Ella has secrets and too much baggage than she cares to share. She’s used to keeping to herself. Suffering silently. Being alone. Henry is willing to change that, however, Ella might be her worst enemy there…afraid to let Henry in afraid to share her secrets. But good ol’ Prince Henry doesn’t back away from a challenge.
The best by far! I’m so sad it’s over I’m going to reread them all over agin! Henry and Henry are my favorite characters. She’s witty, courageous and strong. He’s charming, thoughtful with just enough Alfa male possessiveness.

This was a great retelling of Cinderella. The characters were wonderful and so charismatic. Henry was an arrogant playboy so to speak but Ella changed his view on things. They were so great together. You wont be disappointed.

This is the third book by Mary that I have read. Each one can be read alone but is much more enjoyable when read in order.
I enjoyed the retelling of Cinderella in a modern setting. The story had its own twist and turn that pulled you in. I felt like I was there in the scene with Ella and Henry.
She tells the story in a way that you feel you are a part of it. I couldn’t put it down! I read it in a day and a half. Can’t wait for more stories.

Always and only you!
OMG! I fell in love with this book. I loved Henry’s character since the first book, and I was wondering what Ms. Twomay had in store for him. Henry and Ella’s story was full of humor and yet so emotional! There were times I laughed out loud and others where I needed a kleenex. A great Cinderella retelling that combines modern technology and magic. I highly recommend the whole series to all fans of fairytale retellings!

I loved revisiting the world of Avondale and characters from Mary Twomey’s previous stories. As in those, she didn’t disappoint with this re-telling of the Cinderella story. You’ll fall in love with this new version of Ella and her Prince Charming.

Beauty’s Cursed Prince
A Cinderella Retelling
Cursed Beauty Book 3
Mary E. Twomey
I loved the characters in this story. I thought they had great depth, and personality. Cinderella was always a favorite so I love new versions of it, and this one more than made the grade. It was fun, and unique. I really liked it.
This is book three in the “Cursed Beauty” trilogy series a well written story of Cinderella with a twist. Henry and Ella’s story had me smiling. That Baron and the Step-Mother as well as the step-sister where really something. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
It took me some time to finally buckle down and read this book. I understand the title after reading the book but I would think our Ella would believe she was the cursed. I have to say the modern touches added to the fairytale. I really loved the story and all the magical Pulses in the world. This story pulled at my heartstrings and made me cheer Ella and even Prince Henry. He wanted to be an alpha and take care of her but knew he had to let her do things at her pace, in her time, and in her way. Because she was and is her own person who needs freedom.
