This isn’t your everyday Beauty and the Beast story. Our love story was tragic, until it wasn’t…. Once upon a time I fell in love with a beast. I fell fast, I fell hard. I loved him completely – until he ripped my heart to shreds. Love isn’t a fairy tale. It’s messy. It’s dirty. It’s painful, and it’s ugly. Until it’s not….This is Book 2 and the Final Book of the Beast & Beauty Devil’s … is Book 2 and the Final Book of the Beast & Beauty Devil’s Blaze Duet. Book 1 Beast must be read first.

Wanted to hate Beast but what a great way to end this duet. Loved this story.
While this is the conclusion to the Learning to Breathe Duet, Beast and Hayden have several novellas that aren’t as angst-filled as the duet, but they do advance their story and I highly recommend reading them.
Beauty picks up where Beast left off, and from there it’s a roller coaster of angst, suspense, forgiveness, Hayden forgives Beast, and Beast is finally able to forgive himself, and embrace the life that awaits him.
The moments of a strawberry scent in the air gutted me as much as it warmed my heart.
It felt as if in order for them to truly embrace their connection, it had to be ripped away first, and when they reconnected, they inherently became one another’s oxygen; breathing is impossible if they aren’t together.
Beast had only scratched the surface of actually moving on in the previous book. As he said words to Hayden that sounded like forever, there was always an underlying tension that came with those words, like he wasn’t lying but he wasn’t telling the truth either.
Beast had some profound realizations during his time away from Hayden, but even more so when she was once again within reach. He knew if things didn’t change this time, he’d lose her forever.
Hayden grew so much stronger during their time apart, proving that those heartbreaking months apart were exactly what they both needed to heal and move forward. She wasn’t hiding in fear and panic; instead, she stood tall to protect those she cared about, with strength and confidence coursing through her veins.
The heartbreak Hayden and Beast had to endure is the kind that can either consume you in nothingness or allow you to claw your way back into the light, which is exactly what they did.
He wasn’t the Beast to her, he was Michael, and she wasn’t Hayden to him, she was Beauty, and they were as inseparable as air.
I adore Jordan Marie’s ability to weave a story that draws you in so deeply that you feel as though you’re a part of it, as if you are an essential member of an MC, as if you are under their protection; her words wrap you in a world where love and loyalty fuel every action, and that’s an amazing escape to offer someone who doesn’t have those things.
The MC world Jordan Marie has created allows us to spend endless hours with characters that feel like friends, and storylines that have you so enthralled that you feel the panic and heartbreak right along with the characters. The suspense will steal your breath as you turn the page in fear of what’s to come, but the anticipation of how she will inevitably weave you back together right along with the characters, is awe-inspiring.

What a duet! No constructive criticism. Not one thing I’d change about the plot or characters. I love every detail. Thank you!
Beautiful, just Beautiful, Jordan Marie, you over delivered on this one. I mean, I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE BOOK! The emotional rollercoaster those two went through is beyond everything else, i cried and cried like a baby. The one thing I love about you as an author is that when you write you don’t just put down words. You put Emotions, Anger, Heartache, Laughter, Happiness, the words basically comes alive when as a fan read them. As I said before, i knew Beast’s story would be a woozy, i am a little sad you decide to make him leave the club but i understood why you did it, when one chapter closes another one opens for a new clean slate. He deserves a little happiness after what he went through. Now I’m going to patiently waits for the crazy family called the “Lucas” keep up the good work JORDAN MARIE!!
When your tears fall because of a heart-wrenchingly beautiful story, and when that story makes you forget your own problems…
And then you get to Annabel’s epilogue and your heart aches again, but with bittersweet joy because you meet another character you were fond of before…
You smile because, although in the end you know there is a happy ending, the ending itself gave YOU peace.
Thank you again, Jordan Marie. You reminded me, through Michael and Hayden’s world, that there will always be sunshine after the rain.
The sequel to Beast’s story was one for the books. Absolutely fantastically written!! Jordan Marie literally made me cry again!! Amazing story and one I’ll definitely re-read over & over again.
Beauty is the story of redemption… a story about broken man who gone through unspeakable pain and loss. Every where he turned.. was just a massive blackhole which swallow him up… Michael and Hayden relationship was just too complicated with so many lies..secret.. pain…Jordan it was so good.. i had to take my time to read and savor the word line by line.. Beauty is a sensitive topic.. it laced with so many layer of emotions… stomach turn.. haunted pain.. I could feel Michael’s loss for his child.. When you lose someone you love especially your child..apart of your soul seems to be gone..
Hayden and the baby are the light at the end of tunnel.. their persistance..care and love slowly tearing the wall of pain and suffering…
Jordan… you deserved 2 thumbs up… this is the most difficult story i read from you… too much pain and sadness.. too much darkness…my heart was aching… how much more they can take before it breaks? I love how you describe the story even it pain my heart as I read through the book… it was love that heal this two broken soul… I can feel the healing… the house which full of love… children laugh and strawberry scented everywhere…
My absolute favorite book by Jordan Marie is her duet Beast & Beauty! It will have you crying crazy, ugly, sobbing tears, but in such a good way! She takes you places in these book only a few authors will manage to in your lifetime.
I’m an utter mess, what a beautiful story. My heart is fit to burst. I just adore Michael (Beast) he has absolutely stolen my heart and I don’t want it back.
My poor tortured scarred man, I could literally feel his pain and devastation radiating from the pages.
He was a man close to the edge barely hanging on to his life and his sanity. Then as we know he met Hayden and she changed everything for him. I bloody loved her for that reason.
As we know Beast has a lot of problems he pushed Hayden away thinking he didn’t deserve her. His past is still ruling his life. He can’t move on.
Even though she’s left Beast still keeps an eye on Hayden. Kidding himself that he doesn’t want her back. Staying in the shadows.
That is until he senses danger and he can’t stay away any longer. He’s already lost someone he loves, he won’t survive it again. It’s time to get back and protect what belongs to him.
This story wasn’t an easy fluffy read it was filled with so many emotions I cried so much, it was heart breaking at times but there was so much joy, love and hope too. I even had some laughs because Devil cracks me up. (You’ll love this guy)
To say Jordan did Beast justice would be an understatement. I can only imagine how difficult it is to write not just one but two books for a complex character like him.
But she nailed it. I’m 100% happy it was perfect in every way.
Beast and Beauty are now my favourite Jordan Marie books to date. A fantastic Duet.
Thank you for an amazing journey.
Home Run!!!
Beauty, my god I can’t even describe what Jordan has done here but I will try.
We start off Beauty where we left off in Beast. The fallout and the guilt Michael feels over his feelings for Hayden. He forgot Annabelle’s birthday, and that is something he can’t comprehend or forgive himself for. So he lashes out at the one person who makes him feel alive Hayden.
Michael (Beast) and Hayden, you think finally they are going to get there happily ever after. What Beast went through losing Annabelle is something no parent should ever have to go through but to lose her so tragically is beyond belief.
Hayden is also a broken soul but with Michael’s love she feels something she has not felt before. Safe. But after Michael lashes out at her she realises that she can’t stay here. She needs to leave and start somewhere fresh. But with the threat of Blade still looming she makes a call to Victor and accepts his offer of help.
Fast forward Wyoming and Hayden’s new life. New friends and a new business. Though still under the protection of Victor she tries to get on with her life. But forgetting a man like Michael is not easy. The love she feels for him is not something you can turn off. Michael though may have chased her away she was never far from his eyes. He made a promise to protect her and her unborn baby and that is something he will do till death. He struggles though, being so near but not being able to be part of the life she has created. But it’s not just that. It’s Annabelle also. Is he going crazy? Is it her voice and her presence he feels?
Things come to a head quickly though when Hayden is threatened Michael emerges from the shadows and re-enters her life. Hayden struggles at first having the man she loves so close it’s a blessing and a curse. Wanting to be with him but also not wanting to be hurt again. But a love like she feels for Michael can’t be turned off and it becomes a struggle to contain the feelings she is having by having him so close to her. Michael is also struggling, having something you crave and cherish so close but not being able to express it is killing him. But he is also aware of the demons that lurk in his mind and he cant help but wonder if he’s going to lose it again and hurt Hayden. But he also can’t help but try. She makes him feel alive and human. Knowing that this incredible woman loves him is not something he can fully comprehend but he does know that it’s rare and it’s something he will grab onto and not let go of. The arrival of the baby cements things between Hayden and Michael and the bond they have over this new little life is heartbreakingly beautiful. Cue the tears ladies, that’s all I can say.
Just when you think life may have stopped kicking these two down and they may get their chance at a life full of love and happiness, a new threat emerges. Blade is one, but there is also a new player involved. One that I did not see coming. One whose thirst for revenge against Michael is burning in the darkness. He will stop at nothing to bring Michael to justice, his hatred of Michael is scary and ugly.
When Michael goes missing Hayden is hysterical, she knows that she can’t live without him. He’s her other half, the reason she breaths. Her and the baby need him. He’s everything and she will stop at nothing to bring him home. Old friends make an appearance when Skull arrives to help. He also feels guilt over his part in all this. Not only what Michael went through but for also not checking in on Hayden when he was first asked.
Devil’s appearance in this book just had me flat out laughing. That man is funny as hell. His throw away one liners had me choking on coffee at one point. But the friendship he has with Michael also made me smile. Even though Michael tried to close himself off Devil would not allow it. The nickname Sunshine is fitting somehow, Devils way of humanising Michael maybe not sure. But he never waivers in his support for him. That kind of bond between people is rare. And I am dying for his story.
But I think the thing that really impacted on me in Beauty was Annabelle. The idea that something like this could even be possible, her presence in Michaels thoughts is strong and really gives you some hope. You don’t lose that kind of love you have for a child. And I think the narrative that Jordan created was perfect. This little girl who was such a joy to her dad is not something that can be forgotten. I loved that Hayden was also included in this. That she felt something showed that Annabelle also new that Hayden was the person to take over and love her Daddy literally had me crying. Not many authors can do that. But Jordan’s ability to bring you into the stories so you feel part of it is something that I treasure and I look forward to many more years of this incredibly talented author and what she creates.
“I let my thumb brush against the deep indented scar on his hand and in that moment I accept the inevitable. I will always love Michael Jameson.”
I was so excited to begin this book!! The Author absolutely did these characters justice with the conclusion of their story. I laughed, I cried, I blushed, got all hot and bothered, my stomach filled with butterflies, I found myself highlighting the entire e-book with amazing things these characters were saying to each other, and intensely suspenseful!! The possibility of new stories somewhat hinted at, and honestly I got so lost in this book I didn’t really participate in my life until it was finished. Beast was the one character in this series that I became so invested in to see how he would come back from what he endured…I won’t tell you anything because this duet is a must-read for yourself!!

**must read Beast first**
Beast broke my heart…
…he thought he was broken beyond repair…
Then Beauty came into his life…and still thought that he wasn’t worthy…
Beauty love gave him strength to fight his demons…
I love this duo, my heart broke, my heart rejoice, they are perfect fit for each other..
This a beautiful story about love…with all the mc thrills, suspense, and steam!
(I may have or not ate a whole box of cookies through this story)
Perfect love story, she was the beauty this beast needed to heal..
This is the conclusion to Beast: Learning to Breathe. Hayden was the beauty to Michael’s Beast but when he felt the light was too bright that it blocked out the darkness he pushed her away. After two months pass Michael realizes that he needs to live up to the promise of protecting his Beauty and her baby. Learning to Live is the perfect title for this conclusion as not only does Michael need to discover this but Hayden realizes that without him by her side holding her hand that she herself is only existing. As these two characters discover what true love actually is and that they have a beautiful guardian angel watching over them, it will take all the strength these two can muster to survive what is coming for them. This final instalment in the MC version of Beauty and the Beast will take your emotions to the top of the mountain and through them all the way back down but every crushing moment will be worth the shooting stars that you will witness in the end. I will warn you tissues will be required for the final epilogue but they will be happy tears. Congratulations Jordan Marie on this amazing story, I really didn’t want this book to end.
Sometimes I really wish I could give a book more than 5 stars! This is one of those times!!!
WARNING!!!! Do not read unless you have read Beast: Learning to Breath!!!
I (along with everyone else) have been waiting on pins and needles for this book!!! But it was so worth the wait!!! Jordan Marie has outdone herself with Beauty’s story. I just don’t know if I can find the words to do this book justice!!!
This is the rest of Hayden and Michael’s story. And, if you think it’s all going to be rainbows and roses, think again. This story had me in tears more than once. It also had me on the edge of my seat, ready to yell at the characters a couple of times. And there were even a couple of laugh out loud places! But most of all, it had me falling even farther in love with Michael and Hayden. It was an absolutely perfect ending to one of the most tragically beautiful love story’s I’ve had the privilege to read!!!
Thank you, Jordan Marie, for a beautiful conclusion to Beast’s story!!!
Here is part two of a story that was well worth waiting for. A very emotional ending to a really, really good story. The characters each brought lots of baggage into the relationship that they began in Beast- Learning to Breathe. In Beauty-Learning to Live they finally find each other and begin to live when both of their pasts get in the way of being forever happy. Of course, they do eventually get their happy ever after, complete with an epilogue or two! I will read anything Jordan Marie writes…she is just that good!
