They say the gods will accept no small sacrifice.
To appease them you must give your all.
I’ve sacrificed everything.
Lived through loss, and learned to love.
To take the beauty with the pain.
The rose with the thorns.
This love story isn’t perfect, but it’s ours.
We’ll hold onto it forever.
And hope our forever is longer than a day.
They say the path of true love never runs smooth and that was certainly the case for Daphne and Logan, just when you think they have found peace something happens to shatter it. Their love for one another doesn’t waiver but they have to overcome so many hurdles before they can finally be content. This conclusion is a real roller coaster for the emotions, it also has an interesting insight into the world of drug development. There are a couple of surprise appearances and the introduction of a mysterious character that I hope will appear in the future. The epilogue is everything you would wish for and is the perfect ending for this series.
What a perfect ending for this beauty and her beast. Of course, they couldn’t have an easy happily ever after. One of my favorite characters is Armand. He is sexy, funny, and so over the top, you can’t help but be intrigued by him. This ending leaves so much more open; I can’t wait for the next book.
I read and reviewed a copy of this book.
Once again Stasia and Lee take us on a in depth, cannot breath while reading adventure and leave it open for a new set of stories to with two of the characters from this one. I loved the entire book start finish and conclusion. Beauty and the beast has always been a soft spot of fantasy for me in novels and this adaption has to addicted from the start to finish.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
