“Let me tell you one thing, Beast: if your Prince ever returns, watch his back. There are thousands who would gladly throw daggers at it.”And Belle would be first in line. Ten years ago, he was Prince Aiden, heir of Jereena, at the top of the world – now, they call him Beast.Aiden has landed on his feet, his exclusive club is the place to be, he makes hundreds of thousands a night. What else … night.
What else could he possibly want?
Belle grew up during the Anarchy, and the corrupted system screwed her, big time, but she managed to get by.
Then, her stupid brother goes and steals from the Beast, who demands her as payment.
Well, her, a pile of cash, or her sister – option two and three aren’t acceptable.
Not Quite the Fairy Tale is a series of paranormal romance written for a mature audience. Expect adult language and naughty stuff. Each book is a stand alone.

Another book for my The Beauty and the Beast list.
A mix of fantasy and modern times. There is the fictional country called Jereena that has entered the Age of Anarchy since the prince gave up his royal duties and went to live his own life.
Prince Aiden’s life was total debauchery, so much so that he had a sex club called Nest.
Aiden’s appearance frightened people. He was unusually tall, with very white skin, no hair. His gaze could kill a man with fear. He had no friends, but his employees were loyal to him.
He feared nothing, and he didn’t care about anyone either. And when someone crossed his path, he did everything possible to destroy the person.
When hacker Benjamin Thornton was caught after stealing Beast’s money, his punishment would be to bring seven times as much as he stole in a very short time, or the Beast would take one of his sisters.
Well, Beast didn’t have to go that far, because Sibelle – Belle – offered hersef to stay at Beast’s mansion until the money was paid.
Despite what might appear, at no time was it said that she would be his sex slave, so Belle showed her best brave face and stayed with him, on the condition that when her brother came to try to reverse the situation, Beast wouldn’t accept it, and let him think Belle and Beast were already lovers.
While living in the mansion, and knowing what Nest offered to anyone who could afford the lust, she also discovered Beast’s real identity, and decided to show him what happened to his kingdom because of his selfishness in abandoning everything.
Belle became Aiden’s consciousness and changes began to take place as if a spell were broken.
3,5 stars
This was not your classic fairytale. For a novella, the author did a good job of developing characters and their environment so you could see it in your mind.
This book is not for teens or younger. There is a lot of language and very explicit. Be aware of that. I’m glad this was a Kindle Unlimited book. I don’t need to read it again
Lovely modern day retelling of a fairytale classic! Risqué from the start. A strong female heroine and a male that you love once you get into his story.
Very sexual
Great book
I love anything Beauty and the Beast. this did not disappoint.
Wasn’t really enthused by this book
nice twist, didn’t care for the graphic sexually explicit language
Ugh!! Not one of my favorites
New twist on Beauty and the Beast
Had great potential. The cover was better than the book though.
An adult twist to a tale that has been told many different ways.
Loved it a modern world interprutation.
A good read but no transitions.
Trying to read having a very hard time getting into the plot. Not an easy read.
REALLY BAD! Too much graphic sex & I didn’t get past the first couple pages.
I read it awhile ago and remembered not hating it.
Loved it, can’t wait to read the others.
Good take on the Beauty and the Beast formula.
