He was broken.
Full of hate and sorrow.
Asher Beaumont never asked for much in life. All he wanted was to play his guitar, write music, and be recognized and loved by his father. Unfortunately, that last desire was never realized. The bastard died when Asher was just a kid. Then thirteen years later, his mother dies of a brain tumor, shattering him even more and leaving him hating everyone … hating everyone around him, except for his two best friends, Melody Stevens and her brother, Teddy.
Melody Stevens has crushed on her best friend, Asher Beaumont her entire life. But it’s always been a secret passion. Never something she’d act upon. But when she tells Asher she’s prepared—and determined—to lose her virginity to a guy he considers to be nothing more than a cad who sleeps with anything that wears a skirt, her best friend offers her a proposition she can’t really refuse.
When Asher stumbles across a letter left by his mother before her death, begging him to seek out his half-brothers, he and Melody begin a journey of discovery. Their travels lead them to the two brothers he has spent his life despising because they had the life he always wanted. While on their trip, they discover a miracle they never, ever considered.

Skillfully written book about friends who become lovers and the challenges they encounter when she finds out that on top of his mother’s death and her brother’s death that’s she’s pregnant He also found a letter from his mother encouraging him to seek out his 1/2 brothers that don’t know about him. This was a good series about brothers
I enjoyed the book but you had to get the next book for resolution
Good read. The characters were down to earth people. I enjoyed this book and was upset when I’d finished
I’ve read the three books in this series and have greatly enjoyed each book. This book has very determined characters looking for that piece of life that keeps eluding them. Amongst all of the sadness there is finally love and hope.
Loved thid story! It had everything I needed to keep me pulled into the story! Hidden love between two, tragedy, HEA, and more! Loved it all!!!

Beautifully Undone was the third book in the Beaumont Brothers series by Susan Griscom. This was my favorite of the three. It could be read as a stand-alone but I enjoyed it more having read them in order.
Asher Beaumont was grieving. He just lost his mother; whom he adored and treasured. He felt lost. She was the only family he had and now he was alone. Her wish from the grave was for him to find his half brothers; brothers he knew about but despised.
Melody was Asher’s best friend since they were four. She secretly crushed on Asher but kept it to herself. They were now in their early twenties and still best friends.
Griscom set the stage for the storyline well. It was a journey of growth, healing and new beginnings. She took us from friends to lovers with a few plot twists along the way. She also weaved a tale of two brothers into the mix, providing additional depth and dimension. I enjoyed the development but would have liked to experience the brothers earlier in the story – or to have it longer – filling in some of the gaps. Regardless, it was enjoyable.
In the end, this was my favorite of the three. And Griscom wrapped it up with great potential for a legacy series. Bring on the Beaumont Cousins!
*I purchased this as part of the boxed set The Beaumont Brothers Complete Series. I reviewed each book separately as I read them and provided an overall rating under the boxed set for the entire series.
I loved the book and all of the characters. Read all the books in the series and enjoyed them all.
The story was predictable to me. It may be that I’ve just been reading too many books that are similar.
I really like the characters in the book and despite the foundation of the story being predictable, it had enough new twist that I really liked it
This was terrible do not get it, if you don’t like when the writing is wonky and everything is just one big cliche not done well. The only thing promising is the story is dramatic, except dramatic to the point where whole big scenes were unecessary and the romance is drawn out way too much. The characters realize their feeling for each other and then they proceed to act as if they are unsure. Melody is a terrible person and should never be forgiven at the end it becomes hard to believe these two people were ever best friends. Also, is it true that several deaths were necessary, they appeared as plot devices rather than as a factual situation for these characters. If the author wanted to make bad things happen they could have done this in several different ways, without death. Also, its unbelievable that for the second death, anybody real cared about said character. The best part of the book, though I read into it early on, was the plot twist for the relationship at the end, except this was when Melody expressed how much of a b**** she could really be to her “best friend,” who she would not talk to or forgive for no gosh dang reason. This is all, Thank you for allowing me to express my opinions.
loved loved it
6 BEAUTIFUL STARS! “A streaming trail of need followed by want confused the hell out of me.” This almost sums the book up. Forgive me now for being so vague but I absolutely refuse to give any spoilers and have an incredible need to tell you all the reasons why you need to read this book. Asher and Melody are my new favorite book couple!
You know right from the start of the story that it is going to be deep. Amazing friendship, hate, love, confusion, and some HOT scenes! Asher, Melody, and her brother, Ted have been very close friends since they were young. What happens when you are friends with someone of the opposite sex? People misconstrue things and no one approaches you because they think you are taken. While going through a deep family loss, confusion is rising fast regarding feelings about your best friend and some long lost relatives. Asher and Melody are easy to fall in love with right from the beginning. There are many twists along their journey that will keep you stuck to this story. It’s like gravity!
“I was embarrassed when I moaned into his mouth and felt him smile as he kissed me. But that didn’t stop him. His kiss was tender. Affectionate . So arousing.”
“I needed her to feel not just good, but miraculous. Because if I couldn’t have her forever, then at least I’d always have this moment now of being her first and the one she would remember forever. I would always be her first, no matter what. And maybe, just maybe, she would always look back on this moment with a smile.”
**Beautifully Undone is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. I have not read the rest of the series but am looking forward to reading them now. I can’t get enough of the story and need more!**
