A brand new sexy standalone from #1 New York Times Bestselling author Vi Keeland.
The first time I met Caine West was in a bar.
He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out.
When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight—telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass.
You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best … dined my best friend–smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married.
He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he’d done.
Especially when that lazy smile graced his perfect face in response to my rant.
Only it turned out, the man I’d just told off wasn’t the right guy.
Oops. My mistake.
Embarrassed, I slunk out without an apology.
I was never going to see the handsome stranger again anyway, right?
That’s what I thought…until I walked into class the next morning.
Well, hello Professor West, I’m your new teaching assistant.
I’ll be working under you…figuratively speaking.
Although the literal interpretation might not be such a bad thing—working under Professor West.
This was going to be interesting…

I really enjoy Vi Keeland’s books. They have the romantic aspects but actually hold a good twist/plot turn within the middle to end of the book. Unlike most of the rom-com like books, Vi Keeland requires me to invest emotionally, and i haven’t been disappointed with her quality.
I try to be 100% honest in reviews because i heavily depend on them when selecting my next book, so 5/5 stars + a custom written review is due to a Vi Keelands continued quality in my mind… so, while i liked this book- i am a huge fan of Vi Keeland in general
This book was fantastic! The woven story of how there are Angels sent to use and soul mates. Heartache, loss, guilt, and love. I felt so many emotions throughout this book. I loved the humor and I loved the heat but I also loved the miscommunications as that is a reality. Sometimes I had a hard time connecting with the main female lead with how she handled her emotions but again, that is real and it made sense towards the end. Great story!
Talk about a unique story with a heart warming and heartbreaking beginning! I can’t even begin to tell you how much this story made me cry for all the right reasons. Beautiful Mistake is definitely a beautiful story but make no mistake- everything happened for a reason. Sigh.
Vi Keeland created a heart warming, soul binding, and emotionally crippling story. Everything hurts but for the right reasons. I know I already said that but I needed to say it again.
Audiobook lovers:
Don’t even get me started on the magic that is Andi Arndt and Sebastian York. I would embarrass myself permanently if you let me fangirl over these two.
Vi keeland has done it again with Beautiful Mistake, I loved absolutely everything about this book and I loved the characters, the story line was so good and I didn’t want to put it down to see how it all tied togther and I was so happy by the end of the book
I could have kicked and punched Caine a few times I just wanted to yell at him for feeling so guilty about his past and talk about it. He was very much arrogant but in a good way and the banter he had with Rachel was awesome.
Rachel was a determined little thing what she wanted she went out and got and really loved how she stood up for herself. She worked hard and really let her past drive her to be something good.
I loved everything about this book, the sex, the angst towards the beginning and just all the back story aswell and I loved how Vi keeland gave us little snippets in Cainea point of view. It had such a huge connection with these two characters and I think I loved that the most.
Big big 5 stars again for Beautiful Mistake and Vi keeland one of my #oneclick author and always will be.
Such a beautiful, emotional story that’s heartfelt and sexy too. Caine and Rachel have a surprising connection that’s made stronger as they fall in love.
Vi Keeland never disappoints! Beautiful Mistake was sexy, addicting, romantic and I absolutely loved everything about it! Vi Keeland is one of my top favorite contemporary romance authors, and every book she writes is amazing. Each one gets better and better, and I loved the storyline and characters she created in Beautiful Mistake. Ms. Keeland always writes unique and beautiful stories and this one was no different. I loved reading Caine and Rachel’s story from beginning to end and I was hooked from page one. I loved their personalities and chemistry together, and how their story and relationship developed. I loved reading the book from both Caine and Rachel’s POV, but I would have loved more from Caine’s perspective. I also loved most of the secondary characters, and I really enjoyed their addition to the story. The only aspect I didn’t like was the conflict, but then again who ever does? I understood why it had to happen, and despite that fact, I was extremely happy with the conclusion to Caine and Rachel’s story. I loved this book and couple so much and it’s definitely one of TOP FAVORITES from Vi Keeland. I am so excited to read what she releases next!
So far I’ve loved every book I’ve read by this author and this one was no different. After thinking Caine was the man who hurt her best friend, Rachel told him off one night at the bar where they worked. Turns out, it was the wrong man. Rachel finds herself TA to new professor who just happens to be the man she told off by mistake. I really enjoyed this story. Plenty of push and pull as he fought his attraction to her. Student/TA/professor not the ideal situation. The book kept going back to Caine’s past and I wondered where it would lead me. I loved it, the revelation, the build up of the story. The romance. Great read.
I’m just say that I do not hate this cover, at all. Damn I think each one gets better and better. Anyway, this was a pretty good story. I liked Rachel in the beginning, she was all up in Cain’s face giving him hell for something she thought he did to her friend. That was a great part. But in the middle, I thought she was acting like a baby. I just wasn’t a fan of that part and her willingness to start playing games. Luckily it ended quickly. I really loved all the music therapy stuff, it was so interesting to learn. Yeah, it totally wouldn’t suck to sit there and listen to a lecture from Professor West. Overall it was an enjoyable read and super easy to gawk at!
There is no mistake that Vi Keeland is beautiful!!
This woman never disappoints me. I know when I crack open one of her books I will meet a male lead I will love, a female I can see being friends with and a story that will pull me in and entertain the hell out of me. Once I dive in, I never want to let go.
Caine.
“God, forget the peanut butter and jelly. There is no better combination than a dirty mouth and a sexy suit.”
Enough said.
I know that every time I see a penny I do in fact pick it up, but from now on I will always think of Rachel and Caine.
Beautiful mistake by Vi Keeland
Rachel, teacher’s assistant not only works at the bar every hour she can get but anything else that comes up. She’s always late though and with the new professor that will be a problem-Caine West.
15 years prior he’s also pretending to be a priest and hears confessions of others and some things that are divluged at disheartening to hear about. Social worker is notified and things happen.
See a different side of their relationship when she helps him tend to the little nieces while their mother goes through biopsy and Caine is beside himself.
They got off on the wrong foot and many other times they met one another, you wonder if they will ever get together…
Alternating chapters so you are able to hear both sides of the same story, cool.
Steamy sex scenes. Liked hearing how scars healed and why.
I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).
Beautiful Mistake is an intoxicating tale that is sure to leave you highly satisfied! From the very first page of this one I was hooked, it was such an addictive read, I just could not put it down! It was a well rounded read, with a plausible story line, amazing characters, and loads of steam to keep things nice and toasty!! Loved it!! Highly recommend!

This book was absolutely beautiful! I think the best way to go into this book is just by reading the blurb and nothing else so I’m not going to give too many details away! I will say that I sometimes find Vi Keeland’s blurbs to be misleading in the best possible way because you think you’re going into a light romance but you end up getting a deep, meaningful, intricately written story! This book was exactly that and is probably one of my favorites from her that I’ve read so far!
I quite enjoyed Rachel, and not just because we have the same name! Rachel is kind of a hot mess, almost always running late, telling off the wrong guy in her friend’s honor, although in Rachel’s defense that wasn’t completely her fault! I admired Rachel’s career goals and I loved how not only did Rachel use music to help her get through past trauma, but she also used it as a tool to help others.
There was a time when I was slightly worried if these two were going to be a little bit toxic for each other but when they stopped fighting their feelings for one another, things eased up between them and I was so smitten with this couple! The way all the small details came together by the end to create such an important connection between these characters was just amazing!
