Getting dumped sucks. Getting dumped by your boyfriend days before your best friend’s wedding? It doesn’t get much worse.Did I mention that the guy who cut me loose was country music’s number one rising star? And my client.I thought I was walking into a proposal. Instead, I crashed right into humiliation—dumped and fired. The silver lining? In a restaurant, there’s plenty of wine to drown my … plenty of wine to drown my feelings.
In strolls Tyler Nichols, the restaurant owner. He’s charming, handsome and does a good job of trying to make me feel better. A really good job. Sharing my heartbreak with a beautiful stranger is the last thing that I expected.
Turns out, Tyler Nichols is my ex’s best friend. And according to the local gossips—mainly my cousin—he’s got a mysterious past.
No worries, I’m the gal with everything going for her—great job, fabulous apartment and a glamorous life half way across the country in sunny Los Angeles—far away from my hometown and my family’s bourbon empire. I’ll be leaving after the weekend wedding festivities.
That is until my best friend, Sage, finds herself in a jam and needs my help before jetting off on her honeymoon.
So, I’m staying in Mayfield a little longer than anticipated. In just a few short weeks, I’ll march my happy ass back to the West Coast, far away from Tyler’s smoldering gaze and his panty-melting smile. And the chemistry between us that burns hotter than a hickory stump.
But the longer I’m in town, the harder it is to stay away from him. And maybe I don’t want to.

Honestly, I don’t have words to describe this one. Just wow. The prologue alone was enough to make me want to cry.
This is a beautifully written and emotional book. I was instantly attached to Tyler and Haven. They share stories of adoption, family and finding the right person. Tyler is not the typical bossy alpha but the more quiet, smart secretive guy with a generous heart that you want to know. His desire to have Haven and still take it slow is admirable, but when they start, it’s a big, hot ball of lusty thoughts and actions that takes great strength to pull from, saving it for later, and leaving you panting and grabbing from a cold one. Haven grew up in the town on the Bourbon Trail, the heir to her family’s distillery fortune and she knows the players and the rumor mill all to well, so she knows how to handle them but you can’t help but feel her frustration. We all knew that gossip, arrogant jock, shy girl and new kid. As much as you love Tyler and Haven you can’t help but love the other characters, or hate them. And in true Christy-style, there are a couple of familiar names that show up from other books, incorporated flawlessly into the story.
WARNING- There’s a part that will have you ready to throw the book but I swear that you will be happy that you didn’t.
This book is heart, happiness, hotness, and frustration all tied together in a beautiful story that you’ll feel a part of.
This is Christy Pastore’s best work yet! I have read every book by this author, and this one blew me away. Christy’s way of showing detail with words is her specialty and it shines in this small town romance. Beautiful March will have you hooked from the very beginning. I just had to know what would happen to this man who would do anything for those he loves.
Tyler and Haven have great chemistry from the moment they meet ignoring the fact that it was an awkward situation. They share a slow burn that is worth the wait! I love how much they got to know about each other during the buildup.
Haven is an amazing leading lady which is what you can expect from Christy Pastore. Haven is kind and sassy. Characteristics I adore in a heroine. Tyler is the perfect southern gentleman with a naughty side. He is loyal, relatable, and sexy! The secondary characters were introduced with a lot of intrigue and I want more! 5 stars for Beautiful March!
Not your average small town romance…or even your turn of the mill romance. This one builds slowly until even the reader combusts!
Do not pass this one up!
WOW!!! Author Christy Pastore certainly knows how to reach deep and give you all the feels! I look forward to her releases and Beautiful March definitely didn’t stray!
Tyler’s life begins with heartbreak and devastation…a history he wants buried and forgotten.
Haven is dumped in a heartbreaking way…only to make the most of it, in a slightly vengeful way.
When fate brings Tyler and Haven together, a friendship forms and grows.
This story of Haven and Tyler is such a romantic, swoon-worthy read! It is a story of betrayal, love, vengeance, hatred, high school antics, heartbreak, and blossoming friendships. This small town romance was a wonderfully written love story told in a dual POV that is so easy to read, that you just don’t want to put it down. The additional characters in this story are perfect! I loved Beautiful March and easily give it 5 stars!!!
4 small town stars!! Who doesn’t love a good small town romance?!?!
I really enjoyed this story. The beginning really caught me and then the love story between Tyler and Haven was just beautiful. Tyler is like most eligible bachelor material and Haven is Miss Beauty Queen/Sweet as pie. These two went together like cookies and milk!! And their chemistry is crazy good!
I always enjoy when a book has characters who all know each other or know of each other. The author did a spectacular job with creating some interesting characters. And I really hope we get to see more of Haven’s brothers!!
If you love small towns then this it the book for you. Grab it now!!

Sudden and Searing!
Beautiful March is a fun and sexy, slowburn romance. Haven and Tyler don’t meet under the best circumstances, yet they feel at ease with one another almost instantly. It is that ease and comfort that fuels the heat between them. The sexual tension is intoxicating, but it is their passion for life that truly bonds them. Their relationship is filled with laughter, adoration, and longing. They have some obstacles to overcome, but the journey is more than worth the effort.
Beautiful March is everything I love about small town romance. The townspeople are unique and make the setting shine. Local businesses and festivals provide nostalgia, as well as community. You fall in love with the people as much as you do the place. I am definitely looking forward to visiting Mayfield again. There are quit a few characters that have me yearning for their stories, too.
The beginning of Beautiful March is so emotionally charged and sucked me in immediately. I can’t get over how much I loved this book and how much it touched my heart.
What I loved the most about Beautiful March is that Tyler and Haven had such amazing chemistry and I knew they were destined for great things. Tyler is quite the charming and southern gentleman with a dirty mouth and a whole lot of sexiness. Haven is a career driven woman with the perfect combination of a sweet and sassy personality that you just can’t help but love. Although both of them came from difficult pasts (especially Tyler) they’ve overcome the same and are such kind hearted, down to earth and relatable characters.
Beautiful March is a slow burn romance with heavy anticipation. I could feel the heat and passion between Tyler and Haven. Their make out sessions and the sexual tension is arousing and the ultimate teaser which eventually leads to hot as hell sex. The plot is engaging and concise with very good secondary characters that made a great book even better. I hope Ms. Pastore will consider writing their books. This is an excellent five star book!
Beautiful March by Christy Pastore is a slow burn, contemporary, small-town romance told in first person, dual POV. It takes place in the fictional town of Mayfield, Kentucky and follows the relationship between prominent local businessman and restaurateur, Tyler Nichols, and L.A. publicist and bourbon heiress, Haven Cardwell.
Haven first meets Tyler at his restaurant after she gets dumped by her boyfriend/client. He ends up joining her for dinner and they hit it off with immediate chemistry. Haven grew up in the area and is back in town for a close friend’s wedding. Due to bad history, she can’t wait to go back home to L.A. but agrees to house sit for the bride for a few weeks while she’s away on her honeymoon.
Tyler and Haven begin spending time together and find they have much in common. Both are adopted and have overcome difficult pasts, but Tyler’s past contains a dark secret he’d prefer to keep concealed. Haven and Tyler form a strong bond and feelings for each other quickly develop.
Can their budding relationship survive the impending expiration date and long distance? Will small-town rumors and gossip get in the way? And what will happen if Tyler’s secret is exposed?
I loved Haven and Tyler. They were both smart, strong, kindhearted characters who had experienced deep pain. Their story explored trust, vulnerability, and the choice to turn negative experiences into something positive. It was a beautiful, emotional, and heartwarming tale. I really loved it!
*** I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC. ***
You had me at the prologue…
I absolutely loved Christy Pastore’s latest book Beautiful March. Set in a fictional town on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, Tyler and Haven meet after she is dumped by her client/boyfriend. Their attraction to each other is instant, but their connection is much deeper than that.
I don’t want to give too much away that could be spoilery, but I enjoyed their story immensely. Its a slow burn, but when they finally give in…OH MY GOSH! The book has everything you can want – heat, angst (not a lot), emotion, hope, love and some laughs.
Also, if you’re a fan of Christy’s and have read her other books you get some cameos from some past favorites!
Another great read for me from Christy Pastore!
*I received an ARC from the author in exchange for my honest review*
Beautiful March is one of those stories that instantly grabs hold of the reader and doesn’t let go until the very end. It’s both heartbreaking and beautiful. The opening of this tale was like a punch to the gut. I was almost immediately brought to tears. There were lots of sweet, fun and flirty parts too. Tyler and Haven are wonderful characters. They’re both big hearted individuals that are easy to relate to.
I loved going on this journey with them.
Haven has had to head back to her hometown for a wedding, only to get dumped by her boyfriend, no big loss there, he was a jerk. Thankfully she gets dumped in Tyler’s restaurant, and he’s there to listen to her after his best friend has just dumped her. Tyler is incredibly funny and very good looking, and he would be just the thing Haven needed if she wasn’t set on returning home as soon as all this is over, small-town living, with its gossip and busybodies just isn’t the life for her, especially because both Haven and Tyler have secrets that they’d rather not see the light of day.
Okay, people, we have a situation, and that is a delicious bit of a slow burn where you find yourself just aching for them to get it on. Tyler is being a good guy, and so he doesn’t just want to jump in and treat Haven like just another guy. So they’re spending a lot of time together, doing utterly romantic things that is just building the tension of “when the hell are you two going to get it on!?” and then the relief of when they finally do…ahh!! So good!
Beautiful March is all sorts of sexual tension, and sexy moments, the stress of dealing with your past, it’s a wonderful storyline with comedic relief from Tyler and some yummy recipes to try out (grilled cheese with fig jam? yes please). I love Pastore’s writing and I’m so glad I won this in a giveaway a few months back, I’m only sorry I waited so long to read this. Well done!
Haven and Tyler
What a story! I loved this book!
A small town romance full of swoon worthy scenes….
This book! I didn’t know I would love it so much. I wasn’t sure what to expect, it was so much more than I could have imagined. That prologue wrecked me, I couldn’t imagine what kind of story I was in for, then boom! It was everything I never knew I wanted in a story.
The writing and the storytelling was spot on. I couldn’t get through the pages fast enough.
It was full of heat and passion. The heat was pretty darn hot too! Tyler and his dirty mouth YUM!
Their chemistry was undeniable. They sizzled in the bedroom. Ladies prepare yourselves.
I love Haven she’s a strong resilient woman. Independent and fierce. She’s passionate about everything . She’s my kind of girl!
Together they were perfection, apart they didn’t make sense. I loved everything about their story! I’m addicted to their love for one another. And that little twist woo-weiii wowzers! Bravo Christy this book is a much read ladies. It’s not only beautiful on the outside it’s beautiful on the inside. I love when a cover matches a story.
This book started out with a bang for sure! it gave me all the feels! I couldn’t put it down! what a great story.
Review:
Beautiful March by Christy Pastore.
TENSION!!! I loved the tension so much!!
Haven and Tyler have their first meeting in an unconventional way. It isn’t ordinary. It isn’t a fairy tale. This story unravels slowly and intentionally. It’s lovely.
It was an easy read that I thoroughly enjoyed. A nice break from my worries.
Christy puts in all the little details I love. It just feels sumptuous.
I don’t post spoilers or a synopsis.
Getting there is the fun part!!
Enjoy!
