and BESTSELLER
An ambitious intern. A perfectionist executive. And a whole lot of name calling.
Whip-smart, hardworking, and on her way to an MBA, Chloe Mills has only one problem: her boss, Bennett Ryan. He’s exacting, blunt, inconsiderate — and completely irresistible. A Beautiful Bastard.
Bennett has returned to Chicago from France to take a vital role in his family’s massive media … returned to Chicago from France to take a vital role in his family’s massive media business. He never expected that the assistant who’d been helping him from abroad was the gorgeous, innocently provocative — completely infuriating — creature he now has to see every day. Despite the rumors, he’s never been one for a workplace hookup. But Chloe’s so tempting he’s willing to bend the rules — or outright smash them — if it means he can have her. All over the office.
As their appetites for one another increase to a breaking point, Bennett and Chloe must decide exactly what they’re willing to lose in order to win each other.

A good book for quarantine.

(Dual POVs)
When we meet Chloe and Bennett, Chloe has been working as Bennett’s assistant for approximately a year. She was working under Bennett’s father, until Bennett returned home from working overseas. There is a lot of tension between the two, not so much sexual tension at first, more …
I still reread this book and laugh out loud. You cannot put it down. I love not knowing what will happen next.
3.5 stars.
I wish I would have read this book years ago. There are A LOT of sexy times in this book. An excessive amount. Chloe and Bennett were cute together when they were going back and forth with their banter, but nine times out of ten it lead to sex, immediately. This felt too rushed to me. I would have loved some lead in with tension leading …
So hot! So so so hot! And if Chloe’s Sharp witty and tongue don’t have you laughing out loud nothing you might be dead inside!
Every time I finished a book and looked for another one to read, this one is on top of most lists I searched, but, I don’t know why I didn’t want to read it.
Then, finally, I decided to read it now, and, OMG it is GREAT, really GREAT, I L.O.V.E. the characters and how their stories are developed, it is simple and hot and steamy.
I haven’t read the …
One of my favorite books ever. Loved the whole series but this one is the best. Great characters, great scenes.
This is the book that got me hooked on romances. Chloe and Bennett open a brilliant, HOT series by this powerhouse duo. If you’ve not read this, what’s the holdup?? 😛
Just loved, loved, LOVED this book! Christina is such a beautiful writer and can capture chemistry on a page!
I’ve got a lot to say about this book, but because I only get 1500 characters on Bookbub, check out my review on GR: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2853138691#
First things first, the sexy times were FIRE but the overall story was lacking. They were either having sexy times or thinking about sexy times. The plot was BARELY there. I had issues with the MC Bennett, you just never knew what type of mood he would be in. It was really irritating for him to be sweet and loving then go to being a jerk within …
One of my all-time favorites. I could re-read this book over and over!
Loved loved loved this book! Ugh Miss Mills is everything and Mr. Ryan is my dream man!
This book has flaws. It’s a generic and predictable office romance that held no surprises story-wise. The pairing of these 2 specific personalities is a tricky one. Yes, there is fire and passion but the character introduction and development in the first half of the book is mighty bumpy. I had a hard time finding redeeming qualities in the male …
If you are looking for some hot sex scenes, this book is for you.
Sadly, I was on the hunt for more story and less panty ripping. After about the 6th torn pair. I skimmed past all the sex scenes and ended up at the end quickly.
I will try more from this duo because I do hear amazing things about their books.
I am a sucker for enemy to lover romances, and it is so much better in an office setting. I really enjoyed reading Chloe and Bennett’s story. This was definitely a STEAMY read. Far more than any of the other book I’ve read by these ladies. I’m not complaining! It was excellent. Chloe frustrated me a handful of times but overall this was a great …
I’m a major fan of the Beautiful series as a whole, but this one is maybe my least favorite — not that it isn’t INCREDIBLY written. The authors take the romance genre to the next level with their dynamic characters (especially females who make things happen for themselves, unlike many typical “heroines” we meet in the genre) , snappy, compelling …
I normally love this author’s books, but as a working woman i find sexual harassment a huge turn off and that was what the entire first chapter was. As a real issue for women, it shouldn’t be the start of a romantic relationship and certainly not something i would read for fun.
Loved this book ..the whole series is great
I know I’m way late to this party! Like 5 years late. But as the saying goes, better late than never.
Looking back I have no idea why I never picked this book up. I’ve heard about this series for years now but somehow I never felt the urge to read it until yesterday. On top of that, I bought this book in December 2014 and it has been sitting on …
