This was an eye opening series. I cried so much during the first 2 books. It is sad that some women really go threw this. What happened to the 2 guys was true justice. Also good to know there are some patient and good guys out there. A very heart felt series, beautifully written.

First off I need to say that one of the main characters of this story does experience physical abuse. This book is an incredible story with one strong woman that finds that she can trust again. If you have a trigger please be wary but the journey that she goes on is intense and passionate.
Lena is a woman who is being abused by her husband. She puts a plan in place to leave him but her plans are cut short when she needs to leave sooner rather than later. She does a series of things to hide her tracks well but she needs to stop to regroup. While trying to find this place to grab a coffee and figure out what her next move will be, she meets Jackson Beaumont. When he sees her he has a connection with her that he cannot shake. He is drawn to her, to help her. She reluctantly decides to stick around and to try and help herself but what she doesn’t count on is the trusting, loving, kind natured Jackson. He wants nothing more than to help her help herself. He shows her she can be independent and still ask and accept help from others.
This is a beautifully written insta-love with a breath taking happily ever after. Lena and Jackson help each other find a better person in themselves. I am absolutely in love with the Beaumont Brothers series. Grab your tissues….you’re gonna need them.

I adore the Beaumont Brothers! This is Brodie and Gabrielle’s story. We have two people that couldn’t be more opposite of one another. Their first encounter was not fun and they are dreading seeing each other now. Brodie has a past that makes him who he is today, a playboy that will not commit to spending two nights with the same woman let alone commit to a relationship. Gabrielle has a past that she has kept hidden from everyone and has made her a bit more reserved than most. All hell breaks loose and they lean on each other for support. To watch their relationship bloom and feel every single emotion is beautiful. The author has an amazing way with words and will rock your world when you find out about their pasts!
There is a respect that these two develop for one another. Fear and rejection have made them weary but their love is incredible!

6 BEAUTIFUL STARS! “A streaming trail of need followed by want confused the hell out of me.” This almost sums the book up. Forgive me now for being so vague but I absolutely refuse to give any spoilers and have an incredible need to tell you all the reasons why you need to read this book. Asher and Melody are my new favorite book couple!
You know right from the start of the story that it is going to be deep. Amazing friendship, hate, love, confusion, and some HOT scenes! Asher, Melody, and her brother, Ted have been very close friends since they were young. What happens when you are friends with someone of the opposite sex? People misconstrue things and no one approaches you because they think you are taken. While going through a deep family loss, confusion is rising fast regarding feelings about your best friend and some long lost relatives. Asher and Melody are easy to fall in love with right from the beginning. There are many twists along their journey that will keep you stuck to this story. It’s like gravity!
Each book opened the experience for the next one, but the last one capsulized the series. Loved these books
When reading box sets I sometimes feel like it’s one long book. But, the characters and plot for each book were so good I had no problem making the distinction. Each book was great and I loved following the characters from one book to the next. Great reads!
Read: 9/9/19
The Beaumont Brothers by Susan Griscom was the boxed set containing the three books in the series: Beautifully Wounded, Beautifully Used and Beautifully Undone. These were also my first books by the author. I rated the series as a whole, but following were my quick comments for each one:
Beautifully Wounded was the first book series and focused on the eldest brother, Jackson Beaumont.
Jackson was a helper and a healer to strays….stray animals and stray people. Although gorgeous and all male, he had a kind and generous heart. Enter Lena.
The book opened with an introduction to Lena’s life. It was a tough subject and difficult to witness. The author took us through Lena’s challenges, how Jackson and Lena met, and solutions to her predicament. No spoilers so no elaboration, but it was a serious read and anything but lighthearted. I rated it 3 stars because although I wouldn’t have wanted any more detail into the challenges that were already described, I was craving more depth, dimension and development. Otherwise, it was a good opening to the series.
Beautifully Used was the second book in the series and focused on Brodie Beaumont.
We met Brodie in book one as the one night, two at the most, stand guy. We quickly learned this was a coping mechanism for his demons, but what said demons were, was a mystery. We also briefly met Gabrielle aka Gabby, in book one as a friend and former band mate to Lena. Turns out Gabrielle had demons too. Griscom took us through the discovery mode with a few plot twists while unraveling each backstory. I enjoyed getting to know both characters, but I was craving more and felt the end was a little anti-climatic and ended abruptly. I needed more depth with a peak into the future or at least an explanation for how some of the various plots melded together for the overall story. As a result, I gave it a 3 star rating; otherwise, it was a fairly quick and enjoyable read.
Beautifully Undone was the third book in the series. It could be read as a stand-alone but I enjoyed it more having read them in order.
Asher Beaumont was grieving. He just lost his mother; whom he adored and treasured. He felt lost. She was the only family he had and now he was alone. Her wish from the grave was for him to find his half brothers; brothers he knew about but despised.
Melody was Asher’s best friend since they were four. She secretly crushed on Asher but kept it to herself. They were now in their early twenties and still best friends.
Griscom set the stage for the storyline well. It was a journey of growth, healing and new beginnings. She took us from friends to lovers with a few plot twists along the way. She also weaved a tale of two brothers into the mix, providing additional depth and dimension. I enjoyed the development but would have liked to experience the brothers earlier in the story – or to have it longer – filling in some of the gaps. Regardless, it was enjoyable and I gave it a 3.5 star rating.
In the end, this was my favorite of the three. And Griscom wrapped it up with great potential for a legacy series. Bring on the Beaumont Cousins!
