Being undercover had never made me so heated.I knew Rhett could take care of himself. After all, he’s hotter than hell and a shifter himself. But he’s my partner and when his wife divorces him while undercover, I know something’s up.And I intend to find out what—even if that means risking everything to do it.I couldn’t have counted on his devotion to me or the risk it would put us both under when … devotion to me or the risk it would put us both under when he came searching for answers of his own.
In the end, it will be a matter of who’s more important to my sexy, heartbroken partner—his ex or his mate.

Rookie Shift Book 1: There is some answers but not all. The ending leaves it open for a lot more. Melissa is a cop so you know that there will be danger from that lone. Of course August is her OT. I like it that there are bears on the police force. Don’t you? Excellent story can’t wait to see what happens next and see if her father comes back to get her.
Undercover Shift Book 2: I don’t understand. Why would a Bear marry someone who he has not told them about being a Bear and then divorce her a few years later? Was it one of those that one liked her and the other half didn’t? Crazy. Then there is Charlotte. She has been with Rhett since they were children and a partner for the last seven years as a cop. Now all of a sudden she is not there. Very different story but it has a lot of meat to it. Exciting and the danger of undercover work is there. A very good story.
Stolen Shift Book 3: These stories in this series are all interwoven. They pop up at the strangest times. It does make for a very interesting story. This one is no different, about a woman, human who was kidnapped 5 year before. It’s Mel’s mate she wound up with amnesia and staying with some unsavory people. Boy I tell you if I had to go through the stuff that Mel goes through I would be in a nut house. So much going on but there is excitement, danger and some of it is the police work that Mel does. Very intense story and very good too.
Bears in Blue Book 4: That was very good. The perfect ending to the series. Lily and Luke are perfect together also. I loved it.
Bears in Blue is a well-written set of shifter stories there is Rookie Shift= Melissa and August’s story. Undercover Shift= Charlotte and Rhett’s story, Stolen Shift = Brynn and Mal’s story, and Last Shift= Lily and Luke’s story. A set with a lot going on for it each story has its own merits, each story connects with the one before. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Loved this set of reads. It grabbed me right away and kept me. It is exciting, suspenseful, dramatic, very emotional, surprising and a lot of twists and turns. She was married to him and went undercover. That is the last he hears from her until she files for divorce. He gets another work partner who eventually pulls him out of the gutter. A lot more happens. Read the blurb and the book. I highly recommend it. I voluntarily review a copy for booksprout.
The Chicago PD is made of bear shifters and mortals. The bears and werewolves are against each other. The four stories contained in the box set make up four bears, their stories and how they meet their fated mates. Each story revolves around the major players trying to take over the specialized police force members. Each major player has something on each couple to ensure their compliance when the time comes for the takeover. These couples will not stand idly back while their lives and futures stand threatened by criminal elements. These stories are filled with action and are fast paced reads that will keep you mesmerized until the end. Great stories! I received this boxset via Booksprout and am leaving a voluntary review.
Cop shifter so cool.
I have read Rookie Shift and Undercover Shift, but Stolen Shift and Last Shift were new for me. Melissa is our rookie with August her training officer, Rhett Lewis is the husband of an undercover cop and Charlotte is his partner. These two books lead into the next two and they have even more action. Kidnapping, blackmail, drugs, war, shifter, and mortals all have a place in these stories you will also meet Luke and Lily, Brynn and Malcolm along with Stella, Paul, Rand, and Bailey. There is so much going on in this collection. If you like shifter stories with that added extra than this is the collection for you. It was a very entertaining group of books. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Four exciting bear shifter police adventures in one collection.
These are four stories of bear shifters cops and their mates.

She realizes she will be spending a lot of time in a car with this hunky police officer and wonder how she will survive. August finds himself feeling extremely protective of the rookie and when he talks to his sister she suggest that they could be mate but she seem human rather than a shifter like August.
Undercover Shift

4 bear shifters who work in the police force – in a mostly bear shifter group. Starting with Rooky Shift where the first couple is introduced, where a young police officer has a problem that she is blackmailed by a crime lord. Trying to stay honorable is not easy…
In every story there is an element, where the bears are challenged in their integrity, and have to face their greatest fears.
An interesting collection of stories, that could be read independently, but connected by a familiar setting and partly by family ties.
Well written and entertaining.

This was a good series. I liked the characters and plot. The author did a great job with tying everything in together. This series provided some action, suspense, mystery and romance with some very interesting twist.
In Stolen Shift we meet Malcolm Barnes, a bear shifter, whose mate was kidnapped and turned into a wolf shifter, which presents a problem since wolf shifters and bear shifters are enemies. The help Malcolm’s sister provides the couple was a brilliant idea, one of which you would never see coming. As with Last Shift. Luke Ressling and Lily Brenner’s relationship is considered doomed as well until another great idea presents itself. Tying it all off with the grand finale of stopping a catastrophe forming in the shifter community. This was a terrific conclusion to a very intriguingly entertaining series. It was a real joy to read and I look forward to reading more from this author.
Love the series each story brings something new, yet there are real issues that most people can understand

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Bears in Blue Shifter Romance Box Set by Mia Taylor is a four book set. I liked this read. Mia Taylor tends to give a more human heavy shifter that really works. With each story following a different couple, you get several threads that tie into the overall storyline. I really liked that you get back to Melissa’s story to conclude the series. Great action, sweet but chaotic romance and sexy shifters. An interesting spin on bear culture in the CPD. I highly recommend this read to anyone looking for a different kind of bear shifter story.
This honest and voluntary review was made possible by reading a copy through Booksprout.
This was an okay book series. 1 book lead to the next but the main characters changed. The previous characters popped up occasionally but were not the central focus of the stories. Book 3 confused me because at the end of book 2, Rand was taking charge and Rhett was the “hero” of the book, but end up Rhett is in charge. Book 4, it goes back to show Rand in charge so I’m still confused about it all.
I consider each book had an ending, for sure, not an HEA ending, but I’m not even sure if each had a HFN ending except for the last book, which to me had a HFN ending.
All in all, an okay read…left me with lots of unanswered questions.

A very good collection of shifter romances. Danger, suspense, drama, steam and excitement are all blended into fun story lines that keep you engaged and entertained. I liked the characters and the chemistry they shared.
I enjoyed reading this box set, I read the first two (2) and the last individually, as FREE ARC copies. These stories all have great storylines and the and an intrigue between the characters is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this box set as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
This romance set will have you wanting your very own man in blue and a shifter none the less! The stories are well written given to detail and story development. They are compelling and have you engrossed to see what is going to happen next. My favorite of the stories is undercover shift but all of them are captivating.

Bears in Blue is an amazing collection of shifter stories which starts with Rookie Shift, Melissa’s and August’s story. Undercover Shift is Charlotte’s and Rhett’s, Stolen Shift is Brynn’s and Mal’s story, and Last Shift is Lily’s and Luke’s. Mia Taylor has created unforgettable characters in a romance within a dangerous situation. Ultimately it weaves into a larger, more sinister conspiracy. I can highly recommend your reading Bears in Blue.

*** Reviewing UNDERCOVER SHIFT (BOOK 2) ***
Mia, an undercover cop for two years now under the name of Stephanie Rizzo, was roughly grabbed by Big Earl and Carmen and driven to a country club where something — she wasn’t sure what — was supposed to happen. Would Victor have her killed there? Was her cover blown? The maître d’ who greeted her at the door had a big smile and led them to the dining room. When she saw Theo Susi, her “boyfriend” and the don’s son, she was alarmed. She was in jeans and a sweaty tank top, while he was dressed in a tux and surrounded by his family. Keeping things tense a moment longer, he explained he needed the theatrics so she wouldn’t suspect anything – as he got to one knee and proposed to her! Without waiting for her ‘yes’, he pulled out a ring and put it on her finger. Theo’s mother glared at her and demanded she hear her answer to show she actually accepted his proposal. But even then, she glared. Mia felt faint. They would have to pull her out of here quickly. She was in way too deep. Or did she really want to leave?
Detective Rhett Lewis’ partner, Charlotte Pinkerton, banged hard on his door. When she insisted he let her in, she was disgusted at the squalor he had been living in for the past two weeks. She told him to get a shower while she cleaned up the mess. Then they were going out to eat and drink, whether he liked it or not. The time for mourning was over, she said. He had two weeks to ignore her emails and phone calls. Now he was going to get out of this place. She tried to talk to him, but he didn’t want to discuss it. But once in her car, she started again. Mia had filed for divorce online, never contacting him personally. It was cold. Charlotte took him to a shifter bar, hoping to get him snapped out of his funk.
Sergeant Kramer called Charlotte into his office. An Intelligence officer, Sergeant Kelly, had an undercover assignment for her. They needed someone to go in and find out if Mia had flipped or if she was still working for the police since so little important information was coming in now. Charlotte thought it was a suicide mission, but if she said no, Kelly said they would send Rhett in to spy on his ex-wife. Charlotte knew they were jerking her around, but she couldn’t let Rhett face that woman again. It would destroy him. So she agreed to do it. Was this a death sentence for Charlotte? What would Rhett do when he found out, especially when he realized that Charlotte was his true mate from the start?
This was a good book, continuing the “Bears in Blue” series. The story line had good pacing, the tension keeping the reader thoroughly involved as it played out. The main characters were well depicted as they each showed their personality through their actions. Don’t miss this exciting story – so many possibilities are waiting to surprise you!
This is a great collection of four books about bear shifters. All the stories can be read as standalone, but it is much more enjoyable it you read them together in this bundle.

Rookie Shift
The prologue book left me wary of what this one would be like. I’m grateful to report that this is worlds different. Though, I will give that prologue book credit for giving me some necessary background information going into this. I like Melissa. She’s spunky and independent. However, that independence sometimes gets her in trouble because he wont always ask for the help she needs. August is adorable; a big growly teddy bear with a heart of marshmallow. I’m very interested to see how the rest of their story plays out.
Undercover Shift
This was a good engaging read. I was a little thrown off by the switch in main characters from the previous book, but August and Melissa make a cameo appearance at the end. Rhett and Char were absolutely crazy-making to me. They’ve been denying their feelings for one another for as long as they’ve known each other. And all of that unrequited chemistry pretty much blows up in their faces in this book. The groundwork is also set in place for a much larger plot that appears to be spanning the series.
Stolen shift
I loved the connection between Brynn and Mal. I was touched by how Mal continued to believe in the face of overwhelming odds against that someday Brynn would be home again. There’s lots of good action and intrigue in this story, but the continuity errors kept jarring me out. They prevented me from enjoying it the way I wanted to. Especially bad was miss-naming the villain after the hero of the previous book. That really sticks out in a box set where it’s expected that one book will be read immediately after the last.
Last shift
Luke is a bear with a dream and a complicated family situation that’s screwing it up. Lily’s the right woman in the wrong place. Now the pair of them need to stop the corruption and prevent a war. This was a good way to end the series; lots of intrigue and unexpected plot twists. Luke and Lily make a pretty cute couple. I was also glad to see all the names had been returned to the correct characters.
