If that wasn’t enough, Helios has reared his hideously ugly demon head again and he’s looking to exact his … again and he’s looking to exact his revenge—on me.
I want to walk away, especially when Cruz left me first, but the baby changes everything—and puts us both in a much more perilous situation than we ever imagined.

Part of the Revenge of the Bears series a well written story that kept me on the edge of my seat until I had finished the book. I will be watching for more books in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sage is a bear shift that has been around for many years among humans, and works at one of the most reputable airlines at the moment, as flight attendant.
Her beauty draws the attention of men, but she knows that relating to humans cannot work. Humans live very little (and about this type of relationship she had a lot of experience seeing how her own father dealt with human women.)
On the flight to Madrid, she meets a passenger who is slow to disembark – which scares her when she sees him holding an phone. On the other hand, this man also caught her eye for being a shift.
Cruz Reyes was in Madrid for an unpleasant mission.
He had a very powerful weapon, a sword, which was being sought by a demon named Helios.
Helios had been banned and had been in hiding for a long time. Now that he had managed to break free, he would go after the sword, but also after his revenge, for Carina’s death. And Reyes was his first target.
Finding a bear shift on a flight surprised Reyes, all the more when, from the smell, he knew she was his mate. Falling in love was easy, but now, Sage would be involved in his complicated life, just as she would be his collateral damage.
Helios needed to be stopped at any cost.

Flight Attendant meets Exotic man who is in a heap of family drama. This was a great storyline with super interesting characters. The story begins in the past and keeps ya guessing through out. I loved it!
I was gifted an ARC and will gladly provide an honest voluntary review!
I read and enjoyed this book as part of the Revenge of the Bears boxset by Juniper Hart. This is a four book box set that includes the following individual titles: Bear’s Desire, Shifter Encounters, Doctor Enchanted, and Alpha’s Deception. Each book in this collection features a separate story in which a bear shifter meets his forever mate. Every one of these individual books is a wonderfully steamy stand alone romance. Together, they make an amazing set of stories that you will definitely love reading. Bear’s Desire is a wonderful paranormal romance.

This is another Council of Seven paranormal romance.
This bear shifters, Cruz and Sage, just find out they are fated mates . They met on the flight, she is flight attendant. He was summoned to the Council and their feelings were put on back burner.
Unfortunately odds thrown in their paths keep them apart. Lots of surprises ,twist and turns in this story that I didn’t see coming.
To bad that ending was to much rushed.

Ooh what happens when everyone and their father is against them?
Even demons are plotting against them. But we know the rule right? Love conquers all!
I enjoyed this book even if I wanted to hit Cruz on occasion for not fighting more – but I guess he’s been programmed like that hasn’t he?
Anyway besides that I enjoyed the book and I particularly enjoyed the twists (of course I’m not gonna tell you) and Area is quite right.

Bears Desire by Juniper Hart was okay. Not one of my favorites from this author. The storyline was very slow moving and at times, quite boring. I didn’t fall in love with the characters. I found most of them difficult to like and I wanted to smack them upside the head. Sorry Juniper. Better luck next time

This series themed on revenge starts with the opening story of the book taking place 1,000 years ago where Alaric Aldwin uses a sword created by the bears that can kill demons. He had banished the demons Helios and Carina so, when they returned, he killed Helios’ wife with the sword. He stabbed Helios, intending to kill him too, but was distracted by a call for help before he could actually kill him and Helios escaped, vowing to get his hands on the sword one day and avenge Carina’s death.
Sage Aubin was a flight attendant on Northeastern Airlines. As they landed in Spain, the crew was exhausted and glad to usher the passengers off the plane… all but one man sitting in the back left. Sage walked back to see if he needed help so she could escape to her hotel room and relax. He acted strangely, but didn’t do anything threatening, then got up and left the plane. But she couldn’t stop thinking about him. One of the other attendants took the roster, so she didn’t even know his name.
After a bath and sparkling wine, she was hungry and went downstairs to eat at the hotel restaurant. To her surprise, the waiter said a man was paying for her meal – looking around she spotted the mysterious passenger sitting at the bar and she waved him over. He was impressed with her intelligence, able to discuss a wide variety of topics. And he knew she was his mate. But he was afraid to draw her more deeply into his world. His father had a mission for him and wouldn’t want her interference. But she chose that moment to ask him to come up to her room and he couldn’t refuse.
Days later, Sage’s friend is ready for their vacation and Sage has to tell Dayna she can’t go. Sage didn’t want to waste even that one last day away from him. Cruz told her he had business and would wait elsewhere for her to finish with her friend.
The Council of Seven is involved and pushing Cruz to deliver the sword to another pack as they try to lure Helios out, but he’s conflicted because the demon sword is best protected by him. Angry at the delay, his sheikh father Jett and the Council have sent two guards to escort him immediately to the other pack. He has no choice now. With Helios returning to seek revenge against Cruz and his loved ones, danger draws ever closer.
Cruz is escorted away by the Council’s guards, but Cruz and Sage had not exchanged last names. Abandoned, Sage has to go on without him, but she finds that she is pregnant! Will she ever see Cruz again? Will they survive all the things that threaten them? There are still so many unexpected surprises in this story, as the story line races to the end. Grab your copy and hang on for the ride!
This is a well written book with strong characters and an intriguing story line. The author does a great job building the suspense, adding danger, twists and turns and the hot romance between Sage and Cruz. It’s an action packed story ,moves quickly and smoothly and had me hooked from start to finish reading. I’m looking forward to the next book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
This is an enjoyable story to read. You have well developed characters, good story line, along with a little bit of secrecy that was hidden for a bit. There is love and passion, secrecy, loosing everything and having to start over from the bottom, elation, being kidnapped and terrified, to deep depression. It is also good to be able to see the other side of a situation. Many people think it would be really great to be wealthy, but they don’t always understand what you have to give up to be wealthy.
Sage is an airline stewardess for a top airline. She is in high demand because she is very patient with customers and has plenty of stamina. They just don’t know her secret of being a bear shifter with a long lifeline. She gets to go all over the world, but is only home about eight days a month. That means that she can’t or won’t have a relationship or family until she quits. She likes jet setting around, having designer clothes, shoes and bags. After the flight to Madrid, there is one guy who kind of spooked her that he might have nefarious reasons for being the last on the plane and staring at his phone, granted a good looking guy. When she runs into him again at dinner, things take off.
Cruz is a bear shifter that has been around for a very long time. He is the one who found a certain mineral that is infused in a special sword that kills demons. He is the Demon Slayer who killed Helios’ mate a thousand years ago. He almost killed Helios, but he went into hiding. Since the Council hasn’t found him, they want Cruz to hand the sword to another Bear Clan in Europe. His father wants him to take over the family business, but Cruz has a moral compass that his father totally lacks. While Cruz is supposed to basically steal the rights from someone, he educates the creator that he is entitled to a hefty 200 million for his patent. It was the right thing to do, but his father is not happy. Cruz was the second in line to take over the family businesses, but his elder twin brother by seven minutes, has passed away. Now he has to be tutored by his father on what to do. When he meets Sage in the airplane, he knows, not only is she a bear shifter, but she is his fated mate. Some, if not most, shifters never find their fated mate. They send a heated 36 hours before they are separated with what they each have to do in their lives. He is whisked away by his father, who he wants to make sure his father never finds out about Sage. He has always felt that if they are fated mates, they will find each other again. They didn’t even share their last names with each other. He tries to find her, but he can’t.
I thought it was really great to see the other side of being super wealthy, being the son of a sheik. What the responsibilities are, and what the consequences are. I guess it would be the same in any super wealthy family, but it just seems more dangerous with a sheik.
There was a great line at the end of the book, spoken by Cruz’s mother, “It is us females who rule the world, dear, whether the men want to admit it or not.”
Another is “If there ever comes a time when you need to choose between saving your children or saving your husband, you must always choose the former.”
When Cruz asked Sage what his mother had to say, she said, “I-I’m not sure, but I think your mother just gave me permission to kill you if need be.”

I’m sitting here, going back and forth on my feelings for this book. The first 3/4 were written beautifully, the characters are amazing and the story is beautiful…but the last 1/4 just feels rushed.
