This is a wonderful, feel- good book. From the first pages, I was grabbed by the characters & the setting; never letting me go. I didn’t want to put it down. I loved this book!
This book has it all: loyal family, shifters, an arrogant, insufferable ex, misconceptions, and awakenings. The angst is low, the sex is hot- but not the focus of the book, you have to wait for it. You are gonna love this book!
This is Daniel & Will’s story. Will is a travel writer on vacation in hopes of saving his failing relationship. When he gets dumped on the first day, he is angry and not nearly as upset as he should be. Deciding to turn this into a working trip, he is in need of a guide to show him the hidden wonders of Seaview. Too bad his guide is straight. Enter Daniel, owner of the Inn where Will is staying, and the mayor-to-be. Daniel is a bear shifter who needs to grow- up and settled down. None of the women he’s ever been with have awoken his bear. His bear is awake now, and he wants Will! It takes as while, some soul- searching, and determination to bring these two together for a wild night of “firsts”. Will’s ex showing up will test their relationship. Don’t worry, HEA is assured. You will love this book!
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
Absolutely beautiful love story! Noah Harris is an amazing writer, and as always, I couldn’t stop reading once I started. Will and Daniel’s journey had me engaged and rooting for them throughout the whole story. A must read for fans of fated mates!
You have to be willing to fight for your love. Daniel Archer, Alpha bear, sole son of one of founding families in Seaview, AK, is expected to start a family and lead as mayor. His bear decided that Will, human, ignorant of the shifter world is his mate. Will came to Seaview with his boyfriend, Phillip who seems to have detached, distanced himself and become frosty toward Will, to try to slavage their relationshp. Phillip leaves Will and returns to Boston. Will decides to stay and revamp his life. Will and Daniel strike up a friendship. That slowly builds to more. Will is wary of straight men and Daniel is conflicted. Then Phillip returns, wanting to rethink the relationshp. There’s more going on than just two men, friends looking at more. Good story! Mr Harris keeps getting better. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Once again, this talented author has written an excellent, heartwarming MM shifter romance that is guaranteed to attract the reader’s attention & keeps it until the end. The plot is well-paced, with some mild anguish & has a wonderful slow-burn romance with great scene descriptions & world building. The well-developed characters (Daniel, a bear shifter) & (a human, Will) developed a splendid friendship with great chemistry between that slowly develops into a romantic love.
There is: a male travel writer (Will) is trying to salvage a relationship between his boyfriend (Philipe) & himself but things don’t go accordingly to plans, a alpha bear shifter (Daniel) with responsibilities who is becoming highly attracted to Will, drama, some intrigue, twists & turns, mystery, secrets, memories, disagreements, mild anguish, strange attractions, friendship, expectations, emotional reservations, insecurities, curiosity, confusion, advice, loneliness, discovery, longings, attempted reconciliation, misunderstandings, explanations, declarations, love, mates, contentment, mild steam & a delightful epilogue. I enjoyed reading this shifter romance & would recommend it.
Sweet bear story with a doubtful alpha. Will comes to Seaview to rekindle his love with his cruel boyfriend and finds a new love instead. Daniel has only been with women but he has never found the satisfaction of true love. He feels he needs a blood heir to carry on his name or else he will be a failure. But just in time he remembers that family doesn’t have to be blood. When the two men reluctantly admit their feelings for each other the fireworks shoot off. Will’s ex comes back for one more cruel game!
Another great book by Noah Harris with wonderfully created characters and awesome plot that lured me right in from the very beginning and wouldn’t let me go until the turn of the very last page!
You’d think Phil could have had his first revelation before they were in Alaska!! @$$hat!! Phil was the bullet that Will dodged none too soon. I was glad Will found his backbone, eventually! This story just reaffirms family doesn’t have to be blood. Family is the people/place you choose to love. A safe comfortable haven for you create for you heart and soul. I liked when Will and Dan decided to explore their possibilities. They were tentative and curious, and it was sweet and hot. The twist was magnificent, and Will came through like a storm tropper! Cute ending. Warm and fuzzy feels. Great holiday heat.
Will sets out on this trip to repair his current relationship. His boyfriend is a terrible person, but Will does not seem to want to face he chose poorly. Daniel loves his town, but the mantel of responsibility feels too heavy. Meeting Will has him rethinking all his preconceived notions. A great story of Will and Daniel getting to know one another and discovering they are both stronger than they think.
