Awesome romantic suspense in the Beachcomber Investigations series. Dane and Shana are excellent characters and so isn’t the story line. They’ve worked together for years as partners and plan to marry soon but a bomb destroyed their home. I thoroughly enjoyed this book as well as the action. I received a complementary copy via Hidden Gems and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Queen.
Wow what a way to start a book! This one was a great addition to the Beachcombers Investigations series and I was pulled in from the very beginning. This book has a little big of everything… Tragedy, suspense, romance and danger. Something interesting around every corner and I felt like I was there for it all. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and I would recommend this book to a friend!
This latest installment in the Beachcomber Investigations series literally started off with a massive bang and I was caught up in the aftermath instantly till the very last page. Beachcomber Enemy is the tenth book in the series and I would HIGHLY recommend that you read at the very least several, if not all, of the previous books before you start this one. There is a lot of back story that will not only enhance your reading pleasure, but make the story make so much more sense. I especially enjoyed the focus being on Dane and Shana. These two are explosive in the chemistry department and it truly makes them so much fun to read. I find that the romance really balances the intense action adventure that flows throughout much of the novel. My only complaint as usual is that I didn’t want this to end! I can’t wait to see what else will come next. I am sure it will be as fantastic and adventurous if not more so than this one!
It’s suspenseful and thrilling read. It’s full of drama, action and romance. It will hook you from the beginning with its twists and turns as it keeps you on the edge of your seat. You will love the characters. The connection and chemistry is strong and full of passion. It’s an entertaining read and look forward to reading more.
Beachcomber Enemy by Stephanie Queen is the tenth book in the Beachcomber Investigations series. It had been a while since I had read this series and I was glad to jump back in. Dane Blaise & Shana George are back and their lives are at risk. Someone is out to get them and they decide to go in ghost mode. The only problem is Shana feels something is off. Will they figure out where the danger is coming from? I really enjoyed the story because it has a little bit of everything. The relationship that Dane and Shana have is sweet and sexy at the same time. I am glad that I jumped back into the series for another episode in their lives. I look forward to more in the future.
A great read about danger. Dane and Shana’s lives are in danger after someone bombs their house. In an attempt to find justice and bait the perpetrator of the crime, they go undercover. With help from friends, they go on the run while being hunted from faces from the past. Can they find the truth and stop who is behind it before its too late?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Dane trying to keep calm in a bad situation despite his feelings or Shana standing up for herself but vulnerable underneath. Great cast of supporting characters like the bubbly Peter or the understanding Vendi or the helpful Cap.
I loved the visual detail throughout the novel like with the vibrant and colourful red flames against the blue of the lake wonderfully written. Or the use of the senses with the smell and the heat of the fire so strong its as if you were actually there. Also loved the use of small spaces for dramatic scenes like the helicopter or the bus increasing the tension perfectly written. I also liked how the book started straight into the action with the explosion to grab the readers attention and make you want to keep on reading to see if they made it. And also liked the use of time passing swiftly for the feel of the chase whilst they’re on the run which was a great addition. Fast paced action and high stakes made for a captivating read. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.
The adventures (and trouble) Dane and Shana get into will take you on a wild ride every time. At the 10th book in the series, I was kind of surprised I was looking forward to it as much as I was. Occasionally I get bored with long series, but Stephanie Queen knows how to keep me enthralled. Dane and Shana have such opposite ways of thinking about things and I have been very happy about the lack of moments that make me scream “JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER” in cases of misunderstandings that some books use as a suspense supplement.
Beachcomber Enemy by Stephanie Queen is the tenth book on the Beachcomber Investigations series and I think this is the best of the books I’ve read.
Dane and Shana have to deal with something from Shana’s past. It started on page one and did not let up the entire book. Lots of suspense and crime solving all the way through.
This book is a cliffhanger and it makes me wonder what will happen next with Dane and Shana along with Beachcomber Investigations.
Beachcomber Enemy (Beachcomber Investigations Book 10) by Stephanie Queen
5 **** Stars
This is not really easy to say since I’ve read 99% of this series but I truly think this was my favorite so far. I loved the push and pull between Dane and Shana and how their relationship was tested and also that it was not the main focus of the story. As with all of the books in this series it is full of danger, suspense, and the perfectly placed twists and turns. I loved the progression of these characters especially Ronnie, to see how he started and how strong he has become through this series was awesome, and now a major player throughout this whole series has me completely torn, not sure where his story is headed and I’m worried because he has been a favorite.
I dont have the words to explain how much I love this series and wish it was something I could actually watch because I can see this being absolutely binge worthy and I can not wait to start from the first book and read straight through on a quiet weekend.
I would not recommend starting at this book, there is so much history with all of these characters and with the way this one ended you will need the whole story to feel the complete impact of what’s left on the table. I need the next one NOW!!
Many thanks to this author for this story, I pick each one up with total confidence I’ll be totally satisfied when I reach the last page.
Amazing!!
I’m not surprised how much I loved this novel I knew as soon as I read the first page it would have me hooked and oh boy I was right. The storyline had me gripping the edge of my seat and chewing my lip with anticipation, I honestly was completely there along side the character’s able to visualise and feel exactly what was happening such a magical feeling and experience. I’m always eager to read novels from this author I am never ever disappointed! It is full of drama, action, romance, suspense and so much more definitely worth the read but be warned you will get hooked!
If you like suspense, drama, and some romance thrown in, this book and series are a must read. Dane and Shana are great characters that I truly enjoyed walking beside on the journey of this book. The author kept me guessing as to what would happen next. An easy, well-paced read that I highly recommend be added to your reading list. Great book.
Beachcomber Enemy: a Romantic Thriller (Beachcomber Investigations Book 10) by Stephanie Queen is another wonderful extension of this fabulous series. As with all the books in this series this story is fast paced and has the wow factor from start to finish. I suggest reading all the books in order as it gives you a look at the relationship between the characters and how it has grown and become what it is in this book. Stephanie never disappoints and always lives up to my expectations and then some. It is full of mystery and drama and struggles that make it one good read. When enemies from Shana’s past resurface the hunt is on but will they be able to find them before things get to out of hand. I love me a good suspense story.
This page turner will keep you rooted to your seat and I found myself finishing it in one sitting. This is one series and one author to keep on speed dial. I’m am looking forward to her next book.
5 Star
Beachcomber Enemy: a Romantic Thriller (Beachcomber Investigations Book 10) by Stephanie Queen
Beachcomber Enemy is the tenth book in the Beachcomber Investigation series. I’ve read this whole series and this one is my favorite. I was drawn in from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down till the last page. I found myself on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. This is the story of Dane and Shana. What will happen when an explosion goes off? Is someone trying to kill one of them or both? What should these two do? Is someone out to get Dane? Find out what happens next in this must read book. I look forward to reading more from this Author.
This is the 10th book in the series starring Dane and Shana. Each story is full of adventure, suspense, romance and intrigue.
This series is consistent in its telling. The pace is quick and at times it is had me anticipating the next move.
This is a terrific addition to the series and is one of the shorter books. It can be read in one sitting and is very enjoyable .
This is another good story by Stephanie Queen. It has lots of action, lots of loving and lots of adventure. Beachcomber Enemy has bad guys with some danger thrown in too.
This series has several books, in fact this is book 10. I have read book 7 (see my review) and now have read this one. Each story seems to have a different adventure for our couple, Dane and Shana. Each story we get to know and love Dane and Shana a little more. During this story their trust for each other is tested while they try to find a maniac who is trying to kill them.
Queen has an easy and fun writing style which makes reading these stories…easy and fun! Another easily recommended story.
Beachcomber Enemy: A Romantic Thriller by Stephanie Stephanie Queen is the tenth book in the Beachcomber Investigations series. As with the others this book is fast paced and throws you right into the story.
I really enjoyed Dane and Shana’s story. I loved how there seemed to be no preamble with this book. The author just picks you up and seemingly puts you in the middle of all the action.
I love coming back to this series as well: I have read so many of the books it always feels easy to slip right back into it. This book was full of action and intrigue. It hits the ground running and doesn’t let up right until the end. A great instalment to this series.
Sizzling romance and action!
Everything about Dane Blaise and Shana George sizzles – whether it’s about the danger they are in or their reaction to each other. The wedding is on hold, maybe permanently this time after what Dane has done, and an old adversary is hunting for Shana and using a beloved friend as a hostage to ensnare her.
Responding to the threat endangers long time friendships and their future together. Stephanie Queen does not disappoint in this Beachcomber novel. I received a free copy, but my review is honest and voluntary.
Beachcomber Enemy is the newest book in the Beachcomber Investigations series by Stephanie Queen. It is the 10th book, but you could probably enjoy it without reading any others. The characters do overlap, and to get the best backstory, read them all. I started mid series, and love them all so far. The story, like all the others, follow Dane and Shanna on their adventures. This story is a little different in the sense that it is Shanna’s past causing their current problems. They always seem to run into danger, and this book is no exception. I love that its a balance of thrill and suspense, with a hint of romance. The steamy scenes are intense, but not saturating the book. This book also put the relationships on edge, and I wasn’t sure what was going to happen next. Highly recommend this book, and the whole series.
Beachcomber Enemy ( Beachcomber Investigations Book 10) by Stephanie Queen. This is the story of Dane Blaise & Shana George Private Investigation partners. The book starts with a huge explosion trying to kill Dane & Shana or is it just Shana. Dane thinks the best way to get away is to go undercover and act as if they were killed in the explosion. Shana is not convinced. Dane is convinced its someone from his past out to get him but could it be they are actually out to get Shana? This book is so full of action and mystery plus some steamy romance. Dane is so in love with Shana will that blind him from danger. Will they get out of this mess with their lives? Read Beachcomber Enemy to find out. Warning: Once you start these books you don’t want to stop reading!
This is the tenth book in this series, my favorite yet. I enjoy how the author through her creative writing skills makes me feel as if I am right there with the characters. This is a sitting on the edge of your seat book in parts that make the story pop to life. Dane and Shana are great characters that I have enjoyed reading about. In this book they go on the run as they are the targets of someone who is out to get them. I highly recommend reading the next installment of this series.
