This was my first book by this author, and it for sure won’t be my last.
Lincoln and Opal are two very different people. Opal is a quirky, free spirit with a strong faith in God. Lincoln is an ex-Marine who is broken physically and mentally. Opal hires Lincoln to help her in her shop. It doesn’t take her long to see Lincoln’s brokenness, so she sets out to help him heal. Lincoln gets annoyed at Opal’s often pushy ways at first but soon finds himself leaning on her.
This was an entertaining, inspirational romance. I loved the setting and enjoyed the secondary characters. This story is about healing, forgiveness and finding peace. I can’t wait to read the next two books in the series.
**I received a complimentary copy from the publisher and Netgalley. All opinions expressed are my own.**
T.I. Lowe is one of my favorite authors of all time. She is a southern gal like me and I love all the familiar slang. It is home to me. Beach Haven is the first book in a series and it started with a bang. I loved the characters, the setting, and the story. I laughed, shed a tear or two and found myself smiling from ear to ear with the happy ending. I can’t wait to read the next book in the Carolina Coast series.
*I was given a book by the author and this is my honest opinion.
