”…Faith Blum knows how to blend faith, feelings, and characters together to make for a page turning story where the plot zips along, and the ending leaves you missing the characters and wanting to hear more from them. I found myself drawn to the character of Anna from the beginning…” — Reader’s Favorite review
The church was empty when I dragged myself out of the pew and headed out the … the pew and headed out the door. As I opened the door, the corner of my eye caught a flicker of movement which I chose to ignore. I walked down the steps and was nearly bowled over by two wild boys. With arms grown strong and quick from man-handling two brothers growing up, I grabbed the two boys before they had a chance to escape me.
Anna Stuart is comfortable with her life. She may be a 30 year old spinster, but she has her routine and enjoys taking care of her father and older brother. One letter shatters all her routines, comfort, and enjoyment. After learning of her brother’s death, Anna feels like her life will never be the same again.
Then she meets two motherless boys. Did God place them in her life to lead her to a new vision of life? Can she trust God to give her the desires of her heart before she even knows what they are?
Note from the Author: Even though this book is the 2nd in the series, reading A Mighty Fortress is not essential to reading Be Thou My Vision. That being said, some things in A Mighty Fortress would help you to further understand some of the backstory in this book.
Amazing Grace is now available and is an exciting continuation of Caleb’s story.

I found it difficult to put down, till I finished it. Absolutely Great!
Loved it.
i think she portrayed well the disputes that can occur in small community churches when outsiders come in. Having experienced such, one can easily identify with the characters. She also addressed well the age old issue of why bad things happen to good people. In all, an accurate portrayal of the challenges Christians can face.
A real page turner that touches on many problems of the human condition.
Enjoyed and wound up buying the whole series.
This was a really good book with enjoyable characters. It was an easy read. I was glad to get a chance to follow up on the storyline of the first book in the series.
5 stars , great read a Spinister finds love in an unexpected direction because of her love for children.
I love the creative way the author uses a hymn as a theme for her books. It is historical fiction my favorite venue. I highly recommend her books!
It took a while to get into the story, but it was a very good book.
Sweet story.
Very good.
I though. It was one of the best. Yes
Characters so real it felt like you were there with them living their circumstances. Wisdom, truth and honesty were woven throughout the plot. Well written and definite good read!
Loved this story, so inspiring.
It was a lovely escape from a world I am having to deal with. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a nice story, with faith, and thoughts easy to read before going to bed.
The heroine was okay but not one I really liked, let alone loved. She was too quick to snap back without too much provocation. I wanted to like her more, but it never developed into that.
Good faith building book.
A very spiritual book with many references to God and belief. Shows the faith growth in a young woman fighting to overcome past hurts
I actually have read it twice. Enjoyed it both times.
Not sure I liked it, seemed to be a little juvenile. Very predictable
