“It won’t be easy, but I’m ready to fight for everything that comes with it. If I’m lucky, a blond Brayshaw included.”
I’m still trying to pull together the right words to express how much I loved this book.. After finishing late last night, I am still in the aftershock stage.
Meagan has ALWAYS been one of my top favorite authors but Be My Brayshaw is my FAVORITE book of hers to date. I didn’t believe I could love a book more than I loved Boys of Brayshaw High.. but Be My Brayshaw has taken that spot in my heart and ran away with it.
Be My Brayshaw was so emotional. Not necessarily sad.. but it’s just one of those books that pull your heart strings.. that make your chest hurt.. that have you grabbing your tissues but keep on trucking through the book because you couldn’t DARE to stop now. I laughed. I cried. I screamed. I cried some more.
This book was MORE than just Cap and Victoria’s story. This story is about family and jumping over so many hurdles just to be brought back to the starting line all over again.
The Brayshaws are more than family. They couldn’t exist without one another. Their bond is unbreakable. Their trust is undeniable. Their story is unforgettable.
Definitely read this book. Whatever you’re currently reading.. put it on the back burner.. because trust me, this book will own you completely and wholeheartedly.
“Can’t hardly look at me but can’t stand to see me go.”
I couldn’t wait to head back to the world of all things Brayshaw, especially since, this time, Meagan Brandy was giving her readers Captain’s story. Cap is the Brayshaw brother I’ve always wanted to understand better, whether it’s the reasons for his standoffish personality, his need to control all aspects of his life, or the insight into why family means everything to him. And that’s exactly what Brandy gives me in Be My Brayshaw.
Cap is so much more than the silent and strong guy readers have seen in the other books in this series, and while he has some less than stellar characteristics because he says and does things that don’t paint him in a good light, his love for his daughter and his family illustrate who he also is and who and what pushes him to be the best man and person he can be. And boy is Cap everything I was hoping he would be as a hands-on dad.
I really didn’t have a lot of expectations for Victoria, and I think that the way she had been characterized up to this point was deliberately done, so that readers could form their own opinions when we heard her side of things and saw who she was by her words and actions. It definitely takes some work to look beneath Victoria’s hardened exterior, but even that is there for a reason, and once that layer is chipped away a bit, what we’re able to see is just how selfless she is and just how worthy she is of a life with Cap and their daughter.
Zoey most definitely is the cutest scene stealer I’ve read about in quite some time. She has the entire Brayshaw brood wrapped around her little finger, which is exactly how it should be. She brings out the softer side of her alpha daddy as her uncles and it’s clear that there is nothing any of them wouldn’t do for her, regardless of what that may be.
At times, I will admit, I didn’t quite understand why there was so much drama, so many secrets and lies, so many moments of miscommunication, but then I had to refocus my perspective on the fact that Cap and Veronica have both already had to endure more than people their age should, which allowed me to see things from their position.
Just like the other books in the Brayshaw High series, Be My Brayshaw is full of twists and turns as well as unexpected revelations, and in true Brayshaw fashion, Cap and his family live by a code that no one can interfere with and if they do, the understanding is that these people will go up against them all, not just the one family member they attacked, and there isn’t a single person who can go toe-to-toe with these alpha males and their female counterparts.

Overall Rating – +
I need a minute, maybe hours, even days to deal with everything BMB threw at me. I was not expecting such an emotional read but Meagan’s words tugged at my heart leaving me a little delicate but so utterly in love with Captain and his Beauty, Victoria.
From the previous books, I’ve swooned so bad over all the Brayshaw boys and couldn’t wait for this one, although I was a little apprehensive with Victoria being his leading lady as I was not a huge fan of her. But wow, this girl is smart, loyal to her core and would destroy herself before putting those she loved in harms way.
I loved Victoria in so many ways. Her upbringing was tough and my heart went to her. But her upbringing made her who she was. She has so much sass to give out, holding her head high, taunting, tormenting Captain, trying to make him see, but she had the biggest battle, trying to be a Brayshaw and for everyone to accept her.
“Trust is normally a two-way street, Cap, but in our case it’s a four-lane, one-way highway. Imagine being on the outside of that.”
She was so daring. But it was the other side of her character that I fell for. The one that went out her way to make sure a new life was going to be loved and documenting those precious moments, it was utterly selfless and my heart swelled when truths came out.
Captain, he was forceful in his wants and deeply possessive but it was his tortured soul that pulled me in and how he continued to torture himself with his own pain. However, nothing made me swoon more than daddy Captain. His love for his daughter was unconditional and leapt out the pages, as was everyone who was around her and I loved the little insights into each character’s bond with her.
Since we are back in the Brayshaw world, the book wouldn’t be what it is without the gang we all love. Maddoc and Raven moments filled me with such joy, Madman still head over heels and wildly protective over Raven. And Raven being the glue for them all when they hurt, still strong and always there for them. Royce, still as loving, carefree and funny as ever. I wished he was my uncle, they way he cared for Zoey was beautiful and he loved her like his own. I now can’t wait for his woman to bring him to his knees.
“The lies on your lips burn too deep to meet mine. Keep them away.”
Captain and Victoria’s story isn’t easy, filled with angst that at times near wrecked me. Both had to earn the trust of each other, not something easy for this pair. Captain was mad and cruel, yet caring and loving and the sexual tension unbearable at points. Although the first sex scene isn’t until near the end of the book, there is still plenty of fire in the lead up to it!
“She let me turn her into the devil when she was the saint”
I felt so much while reading, it’s been a while since I’ve actually cried at a book, the pain at times I felt to my core while I read some of the most heart warming emotional scenes I have read in a long time, if ever.
Meagan’s words make you feel such a bond with these characters, taking them into your heart like they are your own. It’s such an intense, emotional read with twist and turns, lies and deceit and I absolutely devoured it. A MUST MUST read.

“It’s fated, I can feel it in my bones.”
Captain and Victoria’s story was everything I hoped it would be and more. Holy hell what can I say about Captain…he could be brutal at times, his protectiveness is fierce and I loved seeing his confused and vulnerable side. There is so much more to Victoria than I could have even imagined. Her selflessness brought tears to my eyes.
“She was a master of hiding—herself, her thoughts, her truths.”
My heart sank to my stomach a few times not quite believing the words on the page. MB blew me away with all the secrets revealed in BE MY BRAYSHAW. I couldn’t get enough of the characters and this world. I absolutely loved the bond that all the Brayshaw hold, if one hurts they all hurt. You can read this as a stand-alone, MB does a great job of explaining things that have happened in the past but I do recommend reading the first 3 books in the series. I’m so eager for Royce’s story that I can barely sit still. I highly recommend BE MY BRAYSHAW!!

Beautiful characters and beautiful stories! Meagan has a way of creating and making you feel in love with her characters! I’m so invested in this world! Can’t wait for so much more from this world!!
Powerful. Raw. Emotional. REAL.
This book is so good! I read it twice, back to back. Because the first time I read it, I was such an emotional hot mess.
Being back in Brayshaw was a balm to my soul. I’m pretty sure I would take up residence in this world if I could. There is just something about this family that is so addictive.
I remember the exact moment in Reign of Brayshaw, where I knew Captain was going to be my man.
”You don’t know this side of me, how I am with a girl who’s mine, so I’ll fill you in on one thing now.” “Words, Raven, I need them.”
He’s intensely loyal, protective, an over-thinker, and his family’s cornerstone. We jump back in with Zoey being home and Captain learning how to exist in his new world. He makes mistakes in this book, no doubt, and at Victoria’s expense. But I can’t fault him. He is navigating life with a brand new priority – his daughter.
Luckily for him, Victoria knows what she wants and how to get it. For someone who has experienced so much, she has an astounding ability to love. And at the end of the day, this story is all about her love for her family. I wasn’t quite sure I was going to love her like I love Raven, but her quiet strength and ability to be selfless won me over. They are two sides to the same coin.
Although there is a lot of friction between them, I think Victoria is the perfect companion for Captain. Like I mentioned earlier, Captain needs words, and Victoria isn’t one to give them up easily. But where Captain is weakest, she is his support. Sometimes when he doesn’t even realize he needs it. Every story has a hero, and she is absolutely the hero here – hands down – No questions asked.
You know what they say, “Cross one. Across all.”
While the focus is in Captain and Victoria, we get to see/hang out with the whole crew. I loved catching up with Maddoc and Raven. But I LOVED learning more about Royce. He definitely took a front seat in this book, and I can’t wait for what’s next!
I loved Cap and Victoria’s story! I expected nothing less from Megan, this was a crazy emotional roller coaster. 5 stars for this amazing continuation of a series I absolutely love!
Captain is one of the three Brayshaw brothers who rules the town and he’s always been the quiet thinker but don’t let his silence fool you because he will either let his brass knuckles do the talking or he’ll tell you how it is. He doesn’t mix words and he doesn’t care what you think unless you’re one of his loved ones.
Victoria is this emotionally scarred fighter whose heart bleeds deep to protect the ones she cares about even if they don’t know or care. She might’ve just been my favorite character Meagan has ever written. I just felt for Victoria and everything she went through. That girl has a life full of secrets but she has so much to offer once you’re someone she wants to defend. There were times when I was angry for Victoria and how she was treated and other times when I was so happy for her.
Meagan knows how to get you attached and feeling for characters that’s for sure. I love how much we saw of Maddoc, Raven, Maybell, Royce and Zoey. I don’t want to ruin anything if you haven’t read any of the other books but Zoey is just the best especially her moments with Cap. I also can’t wait for Royce’s story! I’m so excited for him to either have to fight for his girl or learn how to love her. Either way I’m ready for his story. There were of course some characters that Meagan know how to write that you just want to throat punch and there were a few of those in here but you’ll have to read the book to find out what I’m talking about and if they got what they deserved.
Be My Brayshaw is an addicting whirlwind of secrets unfolding, mistakes made, and fights for their loved ones.
Oh Captain, my Captain! Filled with twists, turns and moments that came crashing down out of left field.
BMB is so emotionally delicious. Brandy didn’t hold back any punches, she literally blasted the roof off my emotions. She is a master at making you run through every emotion known to man. The story and the writing amazed me at how effortless it was to read, how well it flowed. How fantastically it answered some questions that I was left with after Raven and Maddocs story.
Captain, well he surprised me. Going into Be my Brayshaw, you knew him as the quiet watcher of the boys. Always inside his head. Well, Cap turned out to be better than we all could have hoped for. Watching him be the strong beautiful mess that he was, made me fall in love with even more. I love his strength and his loyalty. And Victoria. I have loved that girl from the moment we were introduced to her. She is so intriguing. So determined. So strong. So fierce. So loyal. Everything that is needed in order to be a Bray Girl. This pairing is amazing.
There is nothing that I didn’t love about Be my Brayshaw. Well, there were a few times that I really wanted to punch Cap in the face, but what do you expect when you read a Meagan Brandy book? Another fulfilling look in the world that is Brayshaw.
#braygirlforlife
And that little tease at the end………… we will just leave it at that.
Be My Brayshaw (Brayshaw High #4) by Meagan Brandy
5 STARS
Be My Brayshaw is the fourth book in Meagan Brandy’s Brayshaw series. It picks up right where Reign of Brayshaw, the third book left off, it is written in dual POV and it tells the story of Captain Brayshaw and Victoria.
It was one of my most anticipated book of this year because this series is definitely worth everything. One of my all time favorite series. I just can’t not love the story, the characters….. everything.
As quiet, as calm, and peaceful as you knew Captain, he blow my mind. I hated him so much but I couldn’t not loved him more when he was with Zoey. He was so stubborn but also so possessive, all Alpha. Zoey had him and Rora at her little finger. He would do everything for Zoey, but also, he would protect her with his life.
Although he didn’t want to care and develop feelings for Victoria, he wanted to hate her, he couldn’t. Slowly, his feelings and his trust for her grew. He was a complete ahole with Victoria.
I loved Raven, she is my model female character (and some other heroines from other books), but I also loved Victoria. She was different then Raven. Raven was, still is unpredictable, Victoria on the other hand, she is more calm, and more calculated. Except that one scene with the baseball bat .
She has a backbone, she is strong, she didn’t back down to any one. I admire her. I wished I was like her, think before I act.
There were moments, what the hell am I saying, all the moments and situations with Cap, I would’ve run.
Honestly, “go f*k yourself f*ker”. But no, she stood and fought, and she forgived him.
But who wouldn’t forgive that motherf*ker?
In the end, the prize being Captain and Zoey
I lived that we got glimpse of Maddoc and Raven. God how I love how protective Maddoc is, but especially I loved how Raven pissed him off every chance she got. I also loved how Maddoc was with Zoey. I was fascinated.
Royce a.k.a Uncke Bro…. He is my favorite of all. I can’t wait to read his story. I loved his relationship with Raven, with Zoey, and how when they found the facts, how he loved and appreciated Victoria.
I can’t wait to see what Meagan Brandy has in store for us next.
Bloody amazing!
Are you starved like me, baby?
Never ever could I have imagined that I was going to love Captain more than I did Maddoc!
I feel like this series is getting better book by book. Victoria’s and Captain’s relationship killed me! It was so emotional, so heartbreaking, so intoxicating and so addictive! I cried so many times, not just because of the relationship Captain chose to have with Victoria, but also because of the level of vulnerability Maddoc and Royce have finally shown.
I will never forget the innocent scene when Zoey played with Maddox outdoors.
Fireball of emotions straight to my heart!
And those fireballs kept comming and comming. Relentlessly!
But after every sad tear came a happy tear. Zoey made sure of that.
Victoria… now she amazed me. This girl has been pushed down so many times, she hardly even knew what being happy was. Pushed down, used by others, bullied by others, not being acknowledged, not being trusted. And yet she did all that! For him, for them.
Not only is Be My Brayshaw one of the best books I’ve read lately, it’s also one of the best books I’ve ever read!
I was enchanted by this story. The rawnes of emotions, the temptation, the ever-present sizzling tension! I devoured each page.
FIVE BEAUTY AND BEAST stars for Victoria, Captain and Zoey !!!
The first three books stole my heart and I fell in love with the “Brayshaw High” series from the first moment I started reading “Boys of Brayshaw High”.
It’s been almost over half a year since I read “Reign of Brayshaw” and I’m happy that the Captain’s book has finally come because I was missing this special company so much.
I love that this isn’t just a book about Victoria and Captain, but Raven, Maddoc and Royce have their place in this story too.
“Be My Brayshaw” is a new adult romance with enemies to lovers and single dad tropes full of angst, lies, betrayal but also a hard path to forgiveness and unconditional love which lives inside of every Brayshaw.
Victoria is a female character who wasn’t easy or perfect from the moment she was born. She keeps a lot of secrets to protect the people who she considers as her family.
She is a strong young woman who knows what she wants and she is willing to do anything to get it.
I adore her love for Zoey and her special connection with this little girl.
I love her relentless battle to gain Captain’s trust (but also the trust of Brayshaw family) and eventually his heart.
Oh, my Captain.
Captain is who radiates mystery and his intuition never deceives him until a blonde appears in his life and turns it upside down.
His love for his family and especially for his daughter is everything.
He will do anything to protect them no matter the price and consequences.
Victoria and Captain’s relationship is complicated.
They fight and they make up.
But, no matter what their spark never goes out, but over time it becomes larger which eventually leads to an explosion.
Their constant fight with each other leads them to care about each other no matter how much they sometimes fight against their feeling and in the end, they find their way in each other’s arms.
Meagan has written another book full of emotions that will nail you to a chair and you will not be able to drop the book until you have read the last sentence.
If you love Meagan’s writing style and you also loved the previous books from the “Brayshaw High” series, then this is the book for you!!!
Highly recommended!!!
P.S. Can’t wait for Royce’s book because he is my favorite of all Brayshaw boys!
Royce is mine !!!
Meagan Brandy created another epic episode of Brayshaw saga in Be My Brayshaw. This story has everything that made me a Bray Girl and then some more. The undying bond between the brothers going beyond blood. The ride or die kind of love. And the overwhelming all consuming intensity of emotions that is one hundred percent special to Brayshaw world.
Be My Brayshaw is the story of Captain and Victoria. He just got back his little girl Zoey after a severe battle with enemies of Brayshaw. He and his brothers still have a long way to go before they can happily and peacefully continue to rule their town. Too many secrets are still hiding. And they don’t know if they can trust the new girl brought to their fold, Victoria. She may be Raven’s long lost sister but she has to prove she is worthy of Brayshaw name and she is also worthy of a Brayshaw of her own, Captain.
Be My Brayshaw was a well planned three way attack by Meagan Brandy.First is the impossibly complex and outright intriguing story line. Meagan Brandy is a sorceress while it comes to delivering jaw dropping twists strategically in small doses throughout the story. You can never let your guard down because if you do, another piece of Brayshaw mystery will hit and knock you out. I have chewed off all my nails and my head is sore from hitting too hard.
Second, the characters! Well I didn’t know I could miss fictional characters this much. I wanted to dive inside the pages and hug them while wiping my tears. That’s how real these characters are to me. I have been dying for Captain’s story for ages. He is the fixer, the protector and the nurturer of the gang. And each part of his heart protests to trust Victoria and let her in. He pushes her as he is dedicated to his little girl only. But damn this girl is extraordinary! She is a power house. She had a brutal life but her heart survived the abuse and manipulation. And she has become the strongest, most loyal, most fierce and most determined girl ever. She plays by her own rule but her only aim is to protect the Brayshaws. AND she proves herself in every single dangerous situation.
And the third part is Meagan Brandy’s uncanny ability to draw insane emotions out of my heart. She writes heartache, angst and explosive adrenaline rush in each page. Easily. Effortlessly. Effectively. I hurt for Captain’s tortured and anguished soul. I bleed for the misunderstood and broken but resilient girl. I cheer for their every success and happily ever after. I adore Zoey like anything. I am so deep inside the story that I cannot separate my feelings from theirs.
Be My Brayshaw is another heartaching, soul deep and action packed story from Meagan Brandy. The loyalty. The passion. The emotions. I am addicted. And I am obsessed!
Received ARC for honest review
I have been dying for this book since the end of Reign if Brayshaw and I couldn’t wait to dive into it!
Captain and Victoria’s story, oh my goodness I wanted more! I just got so enraptured by their story, I could have definitely read more of them if it was given.
Now I loved Captain in the other books, I have to admit he is my favourite but…. there were a few times in this book that I just wanted to slap the crap out of him! Don’t get me wrong, he is still my favourite but the man also needed a slap upside the head!
Victoria, the only thing I can really truly say about her is the fact she took the top spot for me being a badass female. Now I loved Raven for her fierceness, but Victoria was just so much more.
This book is going to put your heart through the ringer. I had tears streaming down my face at some parts. But it’s all worth it to read this great story.
5 Stars
Gah I don’t think I could ever get sick of the Brayshaw world. Meagan has created magic with this series. From cover to cover of every book you are drawn in and unable to look away.
Cap and Vee’s story was always going to be hard now that a special little someone was finally home but wow… If you thought they were hard on Raven in the beginning, you ain’t seen nothing yet.
Yet another book so jammed packed with secrets and drama you’ll find yourself unable to unable to look away or think straight, even after the very last page. It’s these kinda books that I struggle with reviewing as every single detail is important and part of a bigger puzzle. Anything I try to even hint at comes out as a spoiler…
All you need to know before diving in is that this book is just as epic as the other three, and yet again you’ll be thrown about on a rollercoaster of emotions with no safety bar. Really there is much more that needs to be said… Except one click immediately, so that you can rock in the corner like the rest of us.
I have spent all afternoon trying to figure out what to say about this book …. Captain is definitely one that I was looking forward to because I was totally ready to be in his head. He seemed to always be planning and plotting…. and I was not disappointed. Victoria was much the same. You could always tell that there was so much more behind the words she chose. It did take me a little bit to get into the story, I can’t pinpoint why. But once the story got going… I was all in. Like I got so mad at one point that Cap asked Victoria a question and she answered…. but as I said, you can always tell there is more behind the words she chooses….. and he just took the answer without pushing for the “but”….. that made me angry enough as it was…. then when I found out what the “but” was….I was FURIOUS! Shaking made sending messages to my book friends that has already read it (as they laughed at me)….and then I spent the rest of the say super angry and NOT working like I was supposed to be, because I had to see what was going to happen with all the new information out there! This book is exactly what I expected from Meagan Brandy and the Brayshaw family…..but it was also so much more!
Overall: 3.5 stars
I love Meagan Brandy, and I love the Brayshaws, proudly consider myself a Brayshaw girl. Maddoc and Raven captivated me, and while it was a rock road, the soul-searing commitment these characters had to each other, this bizarre, unusual little family and the world that orbits around them grabbed me. So, it pains me to say that I would best classify my reaction to Captain’s long awaited book as LUKEWARM
I know it is hard to go from a trilogy architecture to a one-book story- we had three books to build this world and build the emotional depth and connection of Raven and Maddoc. Here we already “know” our characters- but we really didn’t. Victoria was a mystery, that’s the point of the whole tension in this book, and Captain we only saw one side of- we get to explore him more- both as a father and as a bully-ish love-hate love interest. The characters are consistent- we get the Victoria and Captain that we knew PLUS some- and they are incredibly interesting and nuanced- so I loved that part of this story. I loved BOTH of them…..eventually…..the slower burn emotionally and physically (see below) meant it took me a minute to connect to either of them or to actually believe in their chemistry/connection. But, once we got there- I REALLY loved them. Victoria is not at all what we think- more generous, kind, patient, and resilient than even Raven- she’s softer, more vulnerable, more damaged. Once we knew her, I respected and admired her. Captain is soulful and raw underneath his stoic, “calm one” persona- he’s far more emotional than the rational Captain we’ve seen. And him with Zoey- SWOON. That was the most interesting facet of this tale- exploring a Brayshaw as a parent.
What I didn’t love were some of the other parts- parts that felt slow, odd, or frustrating. The pacing felt off, the first 40% felt like so much redundant exposition, the same conversation (you kept secrets, I won’t tell you until you ask, Victoria in but she’s out, we are brayshaw) paired with some more day-to-day stuff that just didn’t hook me- I kept wanting to get over that hill. Once we did, this felt less like a 2.5-3 star and more like a 4 star- we got more clarity about who these folks are and the “secrets”, the relationship started to progress, and the emotional connection was developed-finally SHOWN instead of told. The push-pull is more interesting when there is emotional underpinning and progression. We get there- but the whole “this is brayshaw”/stubbornness of our characters in the first 40% wasn’t just slow but frustrating. And, the secrets are confusing. I felt like that in the prior Brayshaw books- I think that is part of the style, and I get it- we are as disoriented as our characters, but the pace with feeling confused (so much isn’t said, it’s implied) just kept me from loving this. I honestly had to push myself to keep reading during the first 30-40% hoping it would click for me. And, I really wanted to love this- Captain was the most interesting to me.
The last 15% or so was INCREDIBLE- this is the Meagan I love and the Brayshaw I love. Crazy twists, huge shocks, actions paired with heart, tender and emotive and passionate steam paired with a sweet romanticism, emotional nuance and plot complexity, and authentic connections. The last few chapters were BEAUTIFUL- the love story, the connection I’d been desiring- I wanted to savor it, and it actually raised my rating and made me like the book more because it ended on a strong note. I wanted to read more about this couple- and I couldn’t say that up until about 80% in- and I wish we’d gotten more of THAT Victoria-Captain.
Overall, this is solid. Not my favorite of the series, parts that I loved, parts that were meh. Worth the read. Strong writing, amazing characters, just didn’t quite click for me until the end. That epilogue, though- HOLY CRAP, give me Royce now! <3
I am so happy to be back in the world of Brayshaw. These men are powerful, sinful, and above all- loyal. When they decide to bring someone into their world, you know you are in for a ride. This does pick up right after Reign of Brayshaw, and I was immediately pulled into the book. Victoria is savvy, sly, doesn’t take any crud from these boys, and it is absolutely heart-melting to watch her with Zoey. I loved the push and pull between Victoria and Captain, and I am so happy he has met his match. These two are captivating together. There are a lot of twists and turns that make your stomach drop, and a fair warning, it may make you oblivious to everything going on around you, but I will tell you- you just won’t care. Drop everything and run to this book. You are in for a thrilling ride!
Omg!! I love everything cap and vee. I couldn’t put this book down. Definitely a page turner. I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. Love all the secrets coming to light. And still seeing the rest of the brayshaw. Ugh I didn’t want it to end. Read this baby in one sitting. Definitely need more brayshaw.
The world of Brayshaw is one that I cannot get enough of, and I swear that every book is even better than the previous. While I absolutely LOVED Raven and Maddoc’s story, I have been impatiently waiting for Captain’s. The quietest of the Brayshaw’s there was always something about Captain that I needed more of and Meagan delivered in an EPIC way.
From page one I was captivated, and I’m not going to lie, I completely shirked on work and adult life to devour this book. Be My Brayshaw picks up right where Reign of Brayshaw left off and was honestly full speed ahead the entire time. Every twist and turn was mind-blowing, and just when I was like okay, things are going to happen this way, it was like a bomb would drop and what I thought was going to happen didn’t. Like I said EPIC.
I don’t know what it is about the Brayshaw men, but I can’t get enough of them. I loved that we got to see Raven and Maddoc living their lives they were destined to live. And Royce, ugh I love him and his sense of humor cracks me up! The relationship that Captain, Royce, and Maddoc have is honestly so beautiful. No questions asked if one of them needs the other, they’re there. They’re there even if they aren’t needed to speak just to be in silence. That silent support was amazing. And getting to see them work together again AMAZING!
Don’t even get me started on Victoria. I LOVE HER. I wasn’t sure what to expect out of Victoria but seeing her with Zoey was a highlight for me. Her love for Zoey was evident from start to finish, and the things you learn about Victoria in this book will shock you, but in the best way. Her past is one I never expected, but she is a kick butt heroine and it’s awesome to finally get her story. All in all, this book deserves all of the praise and is one of my all-time favorite books now. Meagan never disappoints and will leave you hungry for more!
CAPTAIN BRAYSHAW
I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BOOK!! I love Captain, Victoria and Zoey!!! I have waited so long for this book it did not disappoint! Being on the inside of Captain’s struggles makes me want to hug him! But there definitely was parts where I wanted to strangle him also. Victoria, my heart broke for her. For her life. What it use to be. I love the strength of the female characters Meagan Brandy writes! Diving back into the world of BRAYSHAW did not disappoint! It had all the twists and turns as the other books but with more heart && Don’t even get me started on ZOEY She’s too precious!! I have never ordered a paperback book faster than I ordered this book!!!
