I caved.

Absolutely amazing. Couldn’t put it down. Can’t wait for the next.
Holy amazing! I know I say this about every book I read by Meagan, but seriously! Be My Brayshaw was A-FREAKING-MAZING! Captain has a side to him that I thought was there, but seeing it come out. Man, he’s one hot piece! He has an incredible love for his daughter. It’s so heartwarming!
Victoria. Where do I even start with her?? She is a powerhouse all on her own. Getting to know more about her in BMB helps me to fall in love with her even more also. Learning her background, and what she stands for, seals the deal for me. She’s the perfect addition……..
Once I started, I couldn’t stop. I soaked it up, and never wanted it to end. You will NOT be disappointed…….the twists once again have you saying “what the” and the family dynamics are better than ever.
So, I thought Maddoc and Raven were the couple to beat. But I was wrong. Oh so wrong. Victoria and Captain STOLE THE SHOW. They are my FAVE. The chemistry flew off the pages. The longing for them to be together would not go away. There were moments when one of them would make a bad decision and my heart dropped. I loved them so much.
When Cap found out a certain something with Vic and Zoey, I lost it. I actually cried. That never happens!!!!!!!!!! My heart is so warmed. And I actually fell MAD in love with Royce in this book. I just adore that man so much. I cannot WAIT for his happy ending!!! This was by far my absolute favorite of all the Brayshaw books. They just get better and better and I dont even want to imagine how show stopping Royce’s will be. He demands attention already as it is. 5 stars all the way
Steamy and suspenseful! Meagan Brandy once again dominates. Victoria is awesome, I loved her strong personality. I wasn’t as crazy about captain as I thought I would be, he seemed a little wishy-washy, not as confident as I pictured. The two characters together did an amazing job of making some steamy scenes. There were so many twists and turns as a story progressed, but I couldn’t put it down. A few completely threw me and one I’m still not sure works for me. The next installment of Brayshaw High is going to be absolutely spectacular and I cannot wait for more!
Oh CAPTAIN, MY CAPTAIN! He and Victoria (and Zoey) were everything I hoped they would be and more. The way he loves and hurts is so completely Brayshaw. I loved this book so much and am going to go ahead and start my re-read now. This book was a perfect way to escape the craziness of this world and visit another… the Brayshaw World.
Warning to moms… This book will pull at every momma heartstring you have. Be prepared with wine and chocolate. I loved is so hard!
New Adult | Angsty Romance
There are countless books on the market and yet, one author always stands out. That’s Meagan Brandy. Her words are like poetry to me. Her stories are gritty, sharp, deeply romantic, and consume me from page one all the way to the end. Her writing style is excellent and being drawn into the lives of her characters is simple because she writes as if her readers are part of the story. This is true for her first written words, and now. I’m not surprised she captured my heart with Victoria, Captain’s and Zoey’s story and I wouldn’t be surprised if the same is true with Royce’s. There’s just something about her novels that speak to me and if I could read and experience them with fresh eyes all over again I would.
Captain’s story is perfect. His romance isn’t something snappy that comes with ease but is carefully placed together as he maneuvers through his feelings learns to trust. Captain is a soulful man and doesn’t give easily because he’s been burned in the past, so getting him to open up and allow himself to let his guard down is especially difficult. He may be strong on the outside but inside he hides his worries and pain because he hadn’t been dealt the best cards. Watching him slowly open himself up was beautiful for me as a reader because I saw his vulnerabilities. There were some moments when I felt frustrated because he couldn’t see what I could when it comes to his girl (Victoria) but that comes with the territory of romance and I can’t hold it against Meagan. In all honestly, it’s pure angsty goodness and those enjoy the buildup with all the highs and lows are going to love this one.
Victoria… She’s probably one of my favorite heroines. She’s another character who is flawed and imperfect, and it makes her more real. She was so much stronger than I gave her credit for and watching her love without receiving it back with the patience of a saint was gorgeous. I love seeing selflessness in characters and this is Victoria to a T. Readers are going to absolutely love her.
As with the other books in the series, there is some drama and twists (WOW I wasn’t expecting SOME OF THEM) and you’re going to be on a rollercoaster ride throughout. You will see all the familiar faces of those who came before their love story too. I recommend reading this series in complete order from publication as you will be spoiled if you don’t. Raven and Big Man, Royce and his… future missus? That ending… seeing him!?! GAH! I need it now! And then a few more familiar faces of those you love and those you hate. But above all else? You will love Be My Brayshaw because it’s a deep, emotional, angsty, gritty, and slow burn.
Victoria is my girl, my queen!!
Dude let me tell you when Meagan writes she writes with her heart because some of the things in Be my brayshaw pulled at my heart. I cried I laughed, I swooned and ofc I wanted to beat Captain a few times and be like wth is wrong with you!! Love seeing more of Raven and how she’s getting bigger, and seeing Roland and Maybell!!ofc can’t forget Zoey she was the funniest and sweetest little girl ever who tugged at your heart.. I had a blast and emotional read with Be my brayshaw and I can’t wait to read Royces story and knowing we’re still not done with the Brayshaw world!!
Be My Brayshaw is finally Captain’s book and it did not disappoint!! It was such a great read. Captain and Victoria’s story was angsty, sexy and beautiful. They were intense and captivating together.
Captain and his Beauty were a close second to Big Man and Rae Rae!
Cap was protective, swoony and loving. He was really great with Zoey. Victoria was such a great heroine. I loved her from the beginning. She was tough, fierce, loyal and compassionate. Rora and ZoeZoe’s relationship was the cutest ever. I also loved seeing Zoey with her uncles and Raven. She was so adorable! Can’t wait for Royce!!
Captain oh my fucking Captain.
And Victoria hot damn.
How the fuck does Meagan Brandy keep doing thing to me? She did it again. This evil woman did it again. She was able to make me fall into the world of Brayshaw and not want to come out.
Captain and Victoria were so perfectly crafted that their story couldn’t be anything but perfect. The way that they played off each other was done to compete perfection, that there is no other word that can be used to describe them. Ok maybe crazy and maddening can also be used.
Brandy allowed you to see the different sides to the badass that is Victoria. You thought you knew who she was from the first three books, but you had no idea. There was so many different layers to her that were discovered as each page was turned.
Captain was everything that I knew he was. The strong Brayshaw that I wanted to dick punch one minute then hold the next.
This book was everything and more than I could of ever thought Brandy would deliver when I found out that Captain was getting his book. I mean this book had it all:
1. Angst
2. Chemistry off the charts
3. Cute ass hell toddler
4. Alpha males that will make you fan yourself
5. Strong ass female characters that will make you swoon for them
6. Twists and turns you don’t see coming
And
7. Angst to the 10th
Now the waiting game begins for Royce’s turn.

What I love most about Meagan’s writing is the way she makes me think. I can never anticipate what is going to happen next!
Captain and Victoria’s story right along with the rest of the Brayshaw crew was exactly what I needed and wanted.
There’s a reason why Meagan’s one of my favorite authors and Brayshaw is the
reason.
“Cross one, cross all.” That’s the Brayshaw way.
She should have realized this before sliding into our world with secrets too big to bury.
She didn’t and now the target is on her back.
The day her lies came crashing down, I should have forced her out.
Instead, I locked her in, and with the promise I would never be hers.
I was sure Captain will be the strongest of the two but Victoria came in head on and took over!
Her lies may be brutal but she had a reason for it all.
“’ , .” , . “’ , .”
In this book we learn more about the Brayshaw world and how they became who they are and understand how Victoria and Raven are woven in it.

“ …” . “ . . .”
Victoria was always a mystery to me and in here I realized how many layers does she have. She is fierce, loyal and smart and she will not let anything stand in her way of happiness. But the only thing she needs and wants is keeping her at arm’s length.
“ , ,” . “ , .”
Captain the nurturer, protector and the calculating brother of the three is faced with a problem. Will he let the lies separate him from what he wants and need or will he fight for his happiness, his daughter and family no Matt the cost? I’m in love with this hardheaded, sexy quiet dude!!!

This book is the 4th book in the Brayshaw series which I waited long for since Reign of Brayshaw and it blew my mind!!!
The things I’ve learned and found out kept my mouth agape
Meagan knows what she’s doing and gave us an angsy hot fast page-turner filled with mind food!Just love it! And can’t wait for Royce’s book
Disclaimer- I recieved an arc for an honest review
Be My Brayshaw is the fourth book in Meagan Brandy’s Brayshaw High series and once again I found myself left absolutely speechless by an unforgettable journey. Captain Brayshaw and Victoria Vega’s angsty love story consumed every part of my soul, leaving me struggling to catch my breath the entire time I was lost amongst their crazy world.
Since the moment we met the mysterious Captain Brayshaw in the first book of the series, I have been desperately pining for this man’s story and oh my goodness did Meagan Brandy exceed every expectation I could have possibly had going into it. This incredible author knew that readers were already in love with this man, but she managed to make us fall even more hopelessly in love with him. I still find myself at a loss for words when it comes to describing my feelings for him. He has stolen my body, mind and soul and I know deep down that NOTHING will ever change that because he will forever and always have a place in my heart.
Victoria Vega definitely took me by surprise and I will happily admit that I have a major lady boner for this girl. She sacrifices her happiness at times to ensure that those she loves are protected. She is a warrior in her own right and an amazingly strong woman. Victoria’s secrets will keep you on the edge the entire time and you won’t know what hits you until it’s too late.
Captain, Victoria and adorable little Zoey will steal your HEART and SOUL in Meagan Brandy’s newest release in the Brayshaw High series! You are going to absolutely adore this emotional rollercoaster romance!
I have to say that after reading the first three books I wasn’t as obsessed with Captain as I was with Royce and Maddoc. I can now say that I absolutely love him. It was great to be able to see inside his mind and see what makes him tick. Him as a father? Absolutely no words. I was swooning the entire time. Victoria really stole the show on this book. She was so similar to Raven and all the sacrifices that she made won me over. There was such a huge web of secrets in this story and I was eager for it all to unwind. There were some twists that I definitely didn’t expect. I felt all the things while I was reading this. It was a beautiful ending for Cap and I honestly can’t see him being with anyone else but Victoria. They are both very calculating. I have to say that I wish that there was more drama in this book. I found myself wishing for all the twists and turns from the previous three. I wanted more action because Meagan does that so well. There was just something missing that I can’t quite pinpoint. Nonetheless, don’t let that deter you, it’s still a 5 star read. I was happy that we got glimpses of the rest of the Brayshaw family. Royce’s antics will forever make me laugh. I cannot wait for his book. I love this family so much and never want this series to end.
Meagan Brandy really has done it again. This was another incredible book from her. If you had to ask me what this book was about I’d say loyalty. Why do we do the things we do and who do we do them for? Is it for self-serving reasons or is it for others? In this world though, things may not be so simple. In true Brayshaw fashion, get ready for betrayals, lies, laughs, family, love, and a whole lot of secrets. From the very first page you will be trying to unravel all the untold secrets.
The Brayshaw’s are addicting
This story while at times painful was absolutely addictive. The depth of the dynamics made it a page turner yet at the same time I had to take !I time and digest it slowly because of the intensity of the plot. I was hooked from page one. This book will be hit or miss for many it takes a deep understanding of the pain and betrayal these characters have experienced over and over that got them to this point to really get their behavior. I definitely think reading the original trilogy is helpful in understanding the group dynamics.
Meagan Brandy
Meagan has once again upped the level of heat, angst, and love that can only be described as “Brayshaw”.
I always knew Captain’s book was going to be intense by his quiet, brooding attitude. What I didn’t expect was Meagans ability to win me over to Victoria’s side. Underneath all of Captains quiet intensity is a boy who has had people leave him, and disappoint him his whole life. The only people he has ever been able to rely on are his two boys, and most recently Raven. With Victoria coming on the scene she holds so many secrets that he doesn’t think he could ever trust her again after her betrayal. Even though he hates her he hates that he wants her more.
This book allows us to watch Captain step into his new role of being a full time dad. No longer is Zoey a closely kept secret away from everyone she is now a part of the family. The biggest hurt is knowing that Zoey is connect more then just to the people he trusts. As much as I love Captain there were a few times through this book that I wanted to smack him upside the head to knock some sense into him.
Victoria really took me by surprise in this book. Her depth, and character development by Meagan blew me away. The fact that Meagan was able to keep us in suspense about Victoria for three previous books only speaks to Meagan’s writing ability. Victoria is redeemed many times over, and getting her persepctive was something I had been looking forward too since we found out she was going to be Captain’s loves interest.
I cannot urge you enough to get this book, and read it! Often books that folllow up an epic love story trilogy seem to start to fizzle out. Meagan fanned the flames, and has left me more excited then ever to get Royce’s book!

Reign of Brayshaw Review: https://meander23.com/2019/10/11/the-…
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for honest review.
Even though this can be read as standalone, you need to know the Brayshaw world for better understanding. Suggest reading other books in the series before reading this. Victoria and Captain were more than I expected. When I saw a glimpse of Victoria and Captain in the other books, I thought I knew everything about them, I was sooo wrong.
Captain is now reunited with his little girl Zoey; he took custody on her and brings back home. On one instance when Zoey recognizes Victoria, Brayshaw’s realize she holds a lot of secrets. Victoria explains her part in the Brayshaw was to unearth everyone’s secret, this makes her trust questionable. This doesn’t faze Tori; she is ready to come out of shadows and a take a place where she belongs.
This book bought out insane amount of emotions out of me. This book gives more background about both Victoria and Zoey. The connection and love between them will gut you with emotions. Victoria is more mature and wiser; she doesn’t act clingy or desperate, she just waits for the right moment and stand strong in her words. The sacrifices she made without expectations were just wow, she was strong, loyal, never once backed down. Even with her upbringing the cognitive thinking of right vs wrong and her way of making things right were just excellent. Her moral compass meter was high.
Captain was exactly like what we expected. His love of Zoey and to put her above all with some mistakes of his own and his way of rectification was good. This book has more drama, twists and turns. Plot moved in study pace. Secondary characters were damn good. I loved Royce more and more. Zoey was absolutely adorable. We get more glimpses of Raven and Maddoc. Rolland, Maybell, Chole and Mac added their own stones for the stronger pillar of Brayshaw family.
If you want to get to know or be a part of Brayshaw family and watch it evolve as they add to their circle then this is for you. Can’t wait to see Bishop and Royce battle. Bring it on.

There were so many secrets that came to light in this book. Lots of surprises that kept you wanting to keep turning the pages to find out more. I fell more in love with Captain and his little girl with each chapter . I loved each book in this series and I can’t wait to see what Royce brings us.
I wanted Be My Brayshaw to be better than Boys Of Brayshaw High. IT WAS.
I wanted Be My Brayshaw to have more drama and twists and turns than Trouble At Brayshaw High. IT HAD.
I wanted Be My Brayshaw to kick me in the feels harder than Reign Of Brayshaw. IT DID.
We try not to do spoilers here, but all I will say is that you should read Brayshaw. Love Brayshaw and Be Brayshaw.
Captain, Royce, Maddoc and Raven are everything.
Now, the wait is on for Royce. Tick, tock.
I recieved an ARC of this on behalf of the author for review. My opinion is my own and hasn’t been influenced.
3.5 stars
Be My Brayshaw follows the original trilogy that completed Raven and Maddoc’s story. We met Captain as a side character and I’ve always loved him so have been anticipating his story.
And I feel…meh about him. It’s like somewhere between the Reign of Brayshaw and now he lost some of his appeal for me. I was really disappointed with some of his actions. In fact, I was disappointed with all of them: Maddoc, Royce, Raven. They all were extremely exclusive. Although they had discovered Veronica was Raven’s sister and wanted to include her in their home, they still made it very clear that she was an outsider.
And they have the GALL to get mad when she doesn’t tell them all her secrets? GTFO.
Veronica was the star for me. Yes, she was secretive and closed off emotionally. But considering what we learn about her upbringing? It’s more surprising that she was able to form attachments at all. I empathized with her and got pretty mad on her behalf. But I have to remember, despite how mature all these characters seem, they are only teenagers so I should give them a break.
But Queen B has high standards for fictional characters. Deal with it.
Regardless of my disappointment with Captain, Be My Brayshaw was still an intense and intriguing read. I couldn’t put it down and read it in an entire sitting. The twists and turns in the story line was wild and just proof that Meagan Brandy has some skill in drawing us in and keeping us on the edge of our seats! Still on board for Royce!
Be My Brayshaw is the fourth book in the Brayshaw High series. I am huge fan of this series, and Maddoc is a permanent book boyfriend hall of famer. I love all the Brayshaw boys so I was really looking forward to Captain’s story. Throughout this series he has been a staid and dependable voice of reason, the mature anchor of the family.
In BMB we get to see another side of him. We see the vulnerable teenaged Dad trying to raise a child without her mother. Trying to make the best decisions for his child while still growing into the man he’s supposed to be. He makes some seriously bad calls, and there’s large chunks of this story where I did not like him at all. He wasn’t the man I thought him to be, and he really had an uphill climb.
I went in to this story thinking that Victoria was an okay character, but not up to Cap’s level. Meagan has made a believer out of me. Victoria is a Queen, and I’m swearing my fealty. Cap is not even close to being on her level, and watching their story unfold was an emotional gut-punch. I was twisted up in knots throughout, an emotional wreck and I love a story that can put me through the wringer like that.
I love that the Brayshaw series has such a focus on family that even though this is Cap and Victoria’s book, his brothers and Raven still feature heavily in this story. They’re the village helping to raise Zoey, who is the cutest.
Be My Brayshaw was unequivocally my most favorite single volume in this series.
Mind Blown I am literally left SPEECHLESS!!! Meagan I knew Cap and Tori were going to be EPIC and they were so much more! This story from start to finish had me so hooked to the point that nothing else mattered. I needed their story and what an AMAZING story it is. Be prepared because this story will CONSUME YOU!! Tori didn’t only prove herself she made everyone else question if they were truly worthy. Cap at one point was literally stripped bare with an inner struggle that no one but himself could fix. The chemistry is intense. The angst is almost fearing. But the love for family runs deeper and than blood.
