I have yet to read a book by Rick Mofina that I didn’t like! His characters are realistic, and the plot keeps you on your toes, trying to figure out the end. Be prepared for little sleep. This book is hard to put down!
READ RICK MOFINA EVERY CHANCE I GET!!
I’ve read 9 books by Mr. Mofina and have not been disappointed in any of them. Good fast paced, action packed, great plots in all of them. This one is in the Tom Reed, journalist, series. (I have Angels Fall in my TBR stack which is the 1st of the series that I missed) Even though, I’ve read all of the Reed books after, I’m sure I’ll still enjoy …
My favorite author!
Tom Reed and Molly Wilson are crime reporters for the San Francisco Star. Tom is married, and Molly has been dating a lot. When her current date, police officer Hooker, doesn’t show up at a pub, she goes to his apartment. She wants to tell him she won’t move in with him and wants to slow things down, date others. She finds Hook murdered in his …
Molly Wilson finds herself at the center of a homicide investigation involving the SFPD. As Sydowski and Tom Reed try to solve the mystery, Molly becomes more and more terrified. With twists and turns, the story keeps the reader on the edge of their seats. It’s anyone’s guess as to the final outcome. Great book!
It was an excellent book. I love this author he writes very good.
Once again Rick Mofina has written a winner! He made sure that readers could understand, as much as anyone can, where each of his characters were coming from. Each one has a little time in the spotlight without it clouding the in-house story. And what a great mystery story it is! Pay attention. You will certainly enjoy the ride.
Mofina’s novels are informed with a reality that isn’t always present in mysteries of this type. In the vein of a Michael Connolly
Great read
So far I’ve liked all his books that I’ve read.
Like all of Mofina’s books, this is another winner.
Gotta love San Francisco finest.
Great read, keeps your interest. Exciting at times. Well written, good flow.
Could not put this book down.
Scary, but could be true in these days
If you like noir mysteries in the police or newspaper world, you’ll really like this one. It is the two worlds smashed into one. The mystery is good, the writing (and editing) is very good, and it accelerates to ultra high speed for its unexpected climax. So why didn’t I rate it more highly? I would have if the characters had felt a little more …
I really enjoyed this book and stayed up way too late to finish it. Great writing as usual by this author. I really enjoyed all the characters.
I have other books by Rick Mofina and like all of them.
good book
I forgot how much I enjoyed Rick Mofina’s books until I got this free Kindle download. Even though I jumped right into book 5 of a series, it didn’t matter. This was an excellent mystery, a real page-turner. There were a couple of loose ends I would have liked explanation of at the end (the sending of the roses so soon after each murder and how …
