Hell Disguised as Heaven… she finds the battle with herself more confusing than the one with Beckett. Why is she drawn to him? Why does she see the good in him?
Even with all of the confusing and unexpected obstacles, Greer is determined to find a way to thrive and survive.
This book features an alpha hero and an introverted heroine in a high school setting, but it is meant for mature readers.

Battling Beckett: A Contemporary Step Brother Romance
By T. Christensen
4 stars
I do like the forbidden romance genre so I was really looking forward to reading Battling Beckett and I was not disappointed at all. I really enjoyed the story – I thought that it was well written, had a good pace and flow and I really liked the characters. The story was maybe a little predictable but I honestly didn’t mind because I was fully invested in Greer and Beckett’s story especially the deeper into the book I got. The author had worked really hard to make the characters relatable and this really helped me as a reader to understand their feelings towards each other.
I would definitely recommend this story to others especially if you ate a fan of step-brother romances – it was definitely one of my favourites in this genre! I have read stories by this author previously and I shall look forward to reading more in the future.
Battling Beckett: A Contemporary Step Brother Romance by T. Christensen

This was by far one of the best step-brother books I’ve read. It was different yet connectable. I felt close to Greer and went through the emotions just like she did.
I wished we’d have gotten a little more of Beckett, but what we did get was great.
Lots of drama, its high school of course, internal battles and also some mystery.
If you like step romances, this is for you and even if you don’t, its not your average story.
This fast paced contemporary romance kept me engaged from beginning to end. The characters felt relatable and were easy to connect to. The themes were universal and felt relevant even if I’m far removed from this high school setting. Emotional and riveting, I enjoyed the character detail and the pacing. This was a first look into works by this author and I look forward to reading more from her.
I enjoyed this contemporay romance story. It is a well written story that is fast reading as well as engaging. Beckett and Greer are characters that are connectable as well as made the story realistic. They took me on an emotional roller coaster that kept me turning pages fast. Greer finds herself in a new home and new school but problem, Beckett doesn’t want her in either places. She is confused why she feels drawn to him. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next.
This is my first read from this author and I completely fell in love with Greer and Beckett. I love them together so much and the intensity Beckett had for Greer made him so swoon worthy. I will definitely be reading more from this author.
