The harder the battle, the sweeter the victory.I don’t believe that. Not when we’ve lost almost everything.I married Winter knowing what I was walking into.He married me knowing the same.We started out full of hope.Love, family, the club.We would have it all.We would do whatever it took to build our family. We would stand together through everything. But how does a couple do that when they’ve been … everything.
But how does a couple do that when they’ve been ravaged by loss?
We’re about to find out, because the biggest battles we’ve ever faced are breathing down on us and if we don’t cling to each other, we may lose the one thing we swore we’d never lose.
We may lose us.
The explosive and emotional finale of the Storm MC Reloaded series.
This is Winter’s journey to MC president.
This is Winter & Birdie’s journey to building a family.
This is one epic MC battle.

This was one intense roller coaster ride.
The emotions are strong, fierce, and stress-filled.
Storm has been on a hard road, Winter’s road is much harder.
Add the issues of the club in with the want, need of family.
We watch as this couple goes through one heartwrenching time after another.
Can they make it through?
Explosive, tear-inducing, heartbreaking are my thoughts through many parts of this story. I literally cried.
This author never disappoints, her MC stories are always gripping, intense and extremely well written.
Please note that this review is entirely based on my personal preferences. This book was a lot heavier than the other Storm books. It’s mostly about the Journey of IVF that Birdie and Winter are taking. It’s about hope, loss, struggling through emotions, fighting for love and for their marriage. It’s really well written and you can really feel the emotions but it’s just not for me. I do understand that a lot of wormen would take the same journey and make the same decisions but I would never even think about going through IVF so it was difficult to get into it and to understand why she would put herself and Winter through that and keep on going. (I never wanted kids of my own, I always wanted to adopt)
Winter and Birdie Have been through some heart ache. we have been waiting for this book. OMG The “feels” you’ll laugh, cry, get pissed, and when you think to yourself “I know where this is going” you dont. it takes you through everything.
Their battle with IVF was funny, (ex) Birdie: “what if the baby wont take my boob”
Winter: “I”ll teach him how”
their losses were heart breaking, the struggle to deal with their own pain and the guilt they weren’t trying hard enough for the other’s pain. The constant reassurance of they will each be there through whatever, have tissues ready.
And basically the last chapter…UGH….thats what I was waiting for…..hoping there is more to that story.
Great read LOVE this series.
Winter and Birdie will capture your heart and never let go.
It broke my heart to witness their pain but through it all their love stayed strong. The stress they went through was enough to destroy them but I felt it only made them stronger.
I was so happy to take this journey with one amazing couple.
5, “I will always choose you stars”
BATTLE HEARTS is Book 3 in this series, there is also a short Christmas novella making it 4 books so far in the series.
BATTLE HEARTS is a continuation of Winter and Birdie’s story from book 1, Married life, the battles, the heartbreak, the continuation of their love for one another.
This is one couple who went to war, battled with their hearts and came out the other side shouting victory.
Winter and Birdie’s story absolutely moved me. A heartwarming and heartbreaking journey.
Two people desperately in love and desperate to share their love with a child. The ups and downs of IVF, Birdie and Winters journey is real, its raw, the feelings of hurt and failure after each IVF treatment fails is tangible, my heart went out to the both of them.
In the mix of all Birdie and Winters problems, the club is under attack from an unknown source and Winter along with King are on the hunt, theirs bloodshed and grief.
BATTLE HEARTS WILL really pull you in all directions.
A whole mixture of emotions are evoked throughout BATTLE HEARTS, excitement, sadness, joy, fear, pity. Winter and Birdie are my favourite couple, a true example of staying together through thick or thin, highs and lows, through ice and fire, they survive it all. I am looking forward to the epilogue being released Valentines day and pray that it a huge and ginormous happy to their already happy ever after.
BATTLE HEARTS IS ONE HELL OF A JOURNEY, brilliantly written and perfectly balanced out by Nina Levine. I am so excited for whatever Nina Levine writes next. A brilliant series and highly recommended.
Told In first person dual pov. Can be read as a stand alone but should be read in series order, book one in this series HURRICANE HEARTS is the start of the Storm MC journey and when Birdie and Winter first get together as a couple, the beginning of their story.
Battle Hearts is full of emotion, drama, angst, and just abit of MC. My heart hurt for Winter and Birdie and their IVF struggles. It’s not an easy journey for them, it was heartbreaking and at times I didn’t know if they would make it. Winter was so patient and loving to Birdie, but she wasn’t they same to him. At times she was down right nasty to him. On top of worrying about Birdie, Winter is dealing with club sh* and loss. I’m not sure if it’s just me but I don’t feel the mc brother love in this one.
From start to finish this story is a beautiful heart and gut punch. Winter and Birdie’s story has been progressing over several books and each time I fall in love with their dynamic more and more. Now in Battle Hearts my heart hurts for them, but I also believe their story is one of the most beautiful. So much loss that I was not prepared for, but so much beauty in their family and community who were there holding them up.
Nina’s Storm MC and world draws me in with each character, book and moment. Winter and Birdie are tied as my favorite couple. Nitro and Tatum are the other
This story answers some older questions such as the missing/kidnapped/unsure of status baby. It also shows us how some couples are doing such as King and Lily. And…and we get a moment with Blade!! This story does go through several years so some items will be known if you have read the other books, but many are never before seen moments that focus in on Winter and Birdie.
The MC battle is also present and showcases huge moments of loyalty, betrayal, anger and love. We see King and some other main men from previous books, but we also spend more time with Winters group as the focus. I hope we see more of Ransom, Hunt, and others!
I loved this book and I enjoy any chance to revisit Storm and these characters. This is the third book about this specific battle and the way it is told I would recommend reading the books in order and not as a stand-alone. If you haven’t read any yet don’t worry, this would be a delight to binge read all the MC and couple goodness!

Speechless! This book threw so many emotions my way that I couldn’t catch my breath. Such a fast paced book had me glued to every page.
More strife for Winter and Birdie, life just keeps on throwing crap at them. It was a true testament to their characters that they remained strong and faced the troubles together no matter what.
An incredible heartbreaking journey… Bravo Nina Levine, you truly wrote an epic story. A definite must read!
4 STARS:
I didn’t think my poor heart would hold out. This is one of Nina’s most intense and emotional book. The turmoil was hard to take.
IVF, I wouldn’t wish this hardship on anyone. It tested Winter and Birdie’s relationship to the brink. It seems everything that was happening in this book was testing them.
I was hoping for things to getting lighter and less heart pumping as seriously I didn’t think I could take anymore.
Great way to end this series.

Wow. What an intensely emotional roller coaster I went on while reading this book…
Winter and Birdie GAH their love for one another is undeniable, it shows in every aspect of their crazy worlds. But even the strongest love is tested when it comes to club life and fertility issues, they have to battle with enemies unknown as well as going through the treacherous trials and tribulations of IVF.
It’s a long, hard battle, one that neither of them will escape without scars. Nina has again outdone herself writing about this highly emotive and sensitive subject. She’s done it in such a way that so wonderfully portrays the harsh realities, the emotional ups, and downs of IVF.
I devoured this book in a day, could not put it down!! If you haven’t read this series yet, what are you waiting for!! You’re definitely in for a treat… all those testosterone-filled hot alpha males and their feisty old ladies.

I’ve been so looking forward to reading more about Winter and Birdie Morrison and the wait was worth it. The story is broken into two parts with part one being the continuation of Winter and Birdie’s story from Hurricane Hearts. Part two is seven years later and a continuation of their personal story but so much more.
This look into the life of a couple going through an emotionally and physically challenging period is intense and eye-opening. Having had some experience with my daughter I know that this story could have helped somewhat in her journey if I’d read it beforehand- it still does in a way, although it does really show you that even within the couple’s relationship, it’s hard to be there knowing what the right thing is to do or say. Thank you for this incredible journey through something many do go through yet most don’t so have no clue, your sensitivity is wonderful.
The title is so amazingly accurate; there are many battles in this story. Personal ones between Winter and Birdie, a battle with Mother Nature, club ones between members and ones with enemies as well. All battles are overwhelming and scary at times but the battle to accept lose is perhaps the worst and I can honestly say I experienced such intense emotions just reading each scene.
You gutted me then lifted me up, you exposed me to the knowledge I didn’t realize I needed, thank you.

4 STARS:
I enjoyed this heartbreaking read. I felt every emotion that poured from these pages as if it was my own grief. I found some of this book hard to read and even harder emotionally to deal with.
Winter and Birdie are some of my favourite characters that Nina Levine has written but for me the story was written to heartbreaking to truly enjoy most of the time. Now don’t get me wrong the story was needed but the focus was too full on the devastation that surrounded and consumed these characters.
The story away from the heartbreak was great and flowed in and out of the chaos that became their battle for a baby. So many of the Storm characters from all chapters of the MC make appearances and make for a blood fueled climax.
The person and part of the story that I loved so much was Maddox. His character was brilliant and I feel that Winter and Birdie needed to be healed by this young man. I hope that would be the case and I feel it will be. But we don’t get that from this book.
I totally recommend this book but be prepared for a heartbreaker that is gut wrenching, broken but a beautiful love story that stands against the odds.

Battle Hearts is incredible! It is emotionally charged! The intensity of this book left me breathless! This book gave me more Winter and Birdie and dear God they know eachother better than they know themselves. How these two didn’t explode with all the tension in this story is just mind-boggling. This isn’t a hearts and flowers romance. It is struggles, heartbreak, respect, honesty, and passion. It is Real! I will admit there were times I was gutted reading this book but then I would turn the page and be like “D@mn these two really do love each other.”
Nothing comes easy for Winter and Birdie, not just home life but also with the MC. There is chaos and conflicts in the MC and the way the Storm Men handle the complications is compelling. Plus King runs some of the show so you know it is Crazy Good! Lots of suspense and thrilling escapades. I love this story. Love the feeling of being left emotionally high strung and I especially Love Winter and Birdie and the Storm MC.

Wow! This one makes you feel all the emotions the characters are feeling with a title so fitting. Battles are all around- personal, with the MC club, heartache, betrayal, loss, love. It’s an intense heartbreaking journey of Winter and Birdie. Well written with a realistic feel to it. One of my favorite by this author. Loved!!!
This book is everything!
Nina Levine has bared her heart and soul in this book. An emotional roller coaster that you just have to hang on tight and hope you don’t crash at the end.
Battle Hearts has sent me on an emotionally heart breaking and uplifting journey with Winter and Birdie.
They have endured so much but have been each other’s lifeline with every battle they have faced, but
the emotional storm that has been brewing for nearly eight years will deliver its final devastating blow, a blow that may destroy the foundation that has held strong for so long.
Love, strength, loyalty are the ties that bind these two and the Storm MC together. Through tragedy and devastation comes a lot of soul searching, finding a way back with new perspectives and new hope. Winter and Birdie captured my heart from the start and my love for them has grown with each book.
This is the final book in the Storm MC Reloaded Series and one I guarantee you will fall in love with and devour. Prepare your heart for its greatest battle.
Third book in series was well written by author, especially when tackling a subject that is not openly talked about often enough.
The book was heart breaking, with both the struggles of the couple and the club.
So much happens within these pages. As much as I applaud the author for tackling such a hard subject, at times it felt like it almost took away from the losses the club were suffering and would of liked to have seen more of that.
Maybe it was because I couldn’t relate.
Who knows. I still give the book a very strong 4 stars and can’t wait to see what the author comes up with next.
Was excited to get into this one even if the threat of that darn flu sometimes got in my way. Having read the ones before this I was more than ready to enter into again the world of MC by this author. This one also though as I went through it proved the title was apt and it also was one that messed with the reader’s heart. Pulling out all the stops this MC has a big one to confront with our emotions all over the page.Winter and Bridle have our undivided attention. At times you do not know what is what but just know there has to be mercy. As I turned to the end I leave wiped out having thoroughly loved and been given the best.
Winter and Birdie have been through so much heartbreak and trials during their relationship. The MC has an enemy, the personal trials of both have taken a toll on them. Winter is the ultimate alpha male and Birdie is the no nonsense woman for him. I loved this story even when it made me cry in some spots. A rocking good time!
Battle Hearts…
“This is Winter’s journey to MC president.
This is Winter & Birdie’s journey to building a family.
This is one epic MC battle.”
Battle Hearts is book 3 and the final book in the Storm MC Reloaded series written by the amazing author Nina Levine. Birdie and Winter story will completely take over you from the first page until the end. The story line was profound, overwhelming, beautiful and very emotional with lots of action, danger, drama, enemies, amazing characters and a hell of a finish . I can honestly say (my Opinion) that Nina has wrote her BEST BOOK, needs more than 5 stars, so far this is story will be one of my favorite books this year. I highly recommend it!I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy.
I absolutely love all the emotions that I felt while reading this story. I truly could not put this story down. This series is a genuine 5 star read.

Oh. My. Freaking. Heart! I knew going into this, that it wouldn’t be an easy read. Winter and Birdie stole my heart with their story in Hurricane Hearts. But this one took my heart and smashed it to pieces and then stuck the jagged pieces back together.
Lord, this part of their story is truly heartbreaking but is also full of so much love, hope, loyalty and incredible strength.
What a read!!
