It’s different and it’s fun
So this is a KU series that I thought I would try out. Emma the baker adds a little family magic to her cupcake batter on Monday nights. The bachelors of her little town crowd in to see one of their own find his soul mate’s name in cake batter, and to date her track record is perfect. So when a Miami reporter shows up in her town bent on getting the real scoop, she has to figure out how to protect her family’s secret and her heart. This one was very cute! I will be back for seconds!
I enjoyed this story. Very light and entertaining read.
It was a fun, light read. The lead female could have been a little stronger – more confident in herself, and not so high-school-like wishy-washy. I picked this one because it was free, and of course the next several books in the series are not free.
Great read
I loved this book. It is the first in a series of 5 (five) books. I read the full series in 8 days.
This is the second book from the series that I have read. They are entertaining and fun. Magic Batter??? What could go wrong! 🙂
Who would have thought that a person could use a spell in cupcake batter to find your true love? When it happens in a small town and a world-renowned reporter hears about it, he has to learn more. His editor is expecting a wow story. Our small town “witch” falls for the reporter, and when someone else’s name shows up in his batter, he has a bunch of explaining to do! A great story of how some people get a second chance at a great love.
What a cute summer read. I really enjoyed the characters and the whole idea behind the story.
Very cute book. I really enjoyed reading it.
What a cute story! Whimsical, with a dose of reality. Who doesn’t need a bit of fantasy in their life? There are good girls, mean girls, twists and surprises. Delightfully entertaining.
Bakery owner is able to magically predict single men’s perfect partner with her cupcake batter. Her own perfect match is more elusive.
Cute. Totally far-fetched but I found it so charming and well written and really loved the characters and the quirky town (think Stars Hollow in Gilmore Girls). Have been reading others in the series and really like them all.
I thought this book had a sweet (forgive the pun) storyline. I thought it was a delightful read. I would like to read more from this author.
Interesting story line. Could have been developed more.
A quick fun and entertaining read.
Very cute story but it was hard not to get distracted by the horrible editing and lack of proofreading.
Predictable little love story
Fun, light hearted Beach read.
Love this book so funny!
