Blaise & Isobel
He’s hot, dangerous, and part of the OPS –The Fang Gang team. He’s on the line with his demon pushing him. How long he can maintain control is a constant worry. Their mission to protect three females will surprise them when all is revealed.
She’s been a team with her two besties–they all were experimented on as kids. They don’t know much of their past or how to use the changes made to them. She’s also a Vampire fanatic.
The storyline is tight, involves good guys, bad guys, action, surprises revealed, and some teases for the reader. Characters from previous stories will delight the reader who has read past books and will be new favorites to new fans. The guys are all super-hot-dangerous heroes. Listening to their banter shows they not only respect each other but love teasing each other. Always a fun time with the Ops guys.
I loved the book and highly recommend it as well as following the advice of reading Act of Surveillance (PSI-Ops), Rurik and Liberty’s story.
Another winner from Ms. Roth–Thanks for such reading enjoyment.
Blaise and Isobel story crosses over with Rurik and Liberty story. Gus and Bill as always are hilarious. A must read if you have read the rest of the series.
Blaise has spent years drowning his demon in alcohol. But when fate runs him over will he accept what she brings?
Bat Out of Hell is the latest in Mandy M. Roth’s Immortal Ops Crimson Ops series. I enjoyed seeing Isobel get her happily ever after. She is slightly off center but fiercely loyal to her friends. Finding out the many of her conspiracy theories are true and others are real is nothing when she runs into her waking dream man. But can she accept that a vampire is hers for eternity? I thoroughly enjoyed the journey as Blaise and Isobel fought their demons to find their happiness.
Well written paranormal in the ops world. These characters banter remains a lot of fun. This is number four in the series. I love the long term path crossing that goes on as we see the story evolve. And all the yeses for the goth loving vamp girl who’s outlook is so different from other characters. Also I love the way Blaise accessorizes. Such an awwwww I thing.
In order to fully enjoy this story, you will need to read Rurik and Liberty’s story but it is well worth it. Both stories are amazing!
Isobel, Liberty and Daisy met when they were young girls and have been best friends ever since. We met all of them in Liberty’s story but in Isobel’s story, we dig further in to their past before bringing us back to present day.
Mandy did an absolutely amazing job building this world and I look forward to every story. Blaise and Isobel are hilarious. I love seeing them together. I cannot wait to see what she has in store for Daisy.
Another awesome Immortal Ops book that had me laughing and on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. Blaise is old… really old… and when his mate hits him, well it takes some time to figure out what she is to him. When I say hit, she runs him over. Isobel have always been interested in vampires, she named her car Elvira. It seems fitting that she ends up with one as a mate. While her and her best friends have powers, they do not know about the supernatural. In walk Rurik, Bill, Gus, then Blaise and the rest of the team. Talk about an overload of hotness.
I loved this book and loved how everything plays out between Blaise and Isobel. There is heat, danger, family, oh and an old enemy in this book. Bill was the cause of some of my laughter, as usual. I really did not want this book to end.
Wild Bill and Gus are still causing havoc – this time the Fang Gang are trying to corral him!
I have not laughed out loud at a book in some time. I did get a couple of funny looks at work – trying to explain the insults and the banter between the FG and Bill and Isabel was beyond me, IYKYK!
Isabel is like that kickbutt female we all want to be – she takes no prisoners and will run you over with a car to save her friends, literally! She may love all things Vamp but learning that they are very real and very smexy, with a weird possessive vibe that she seems not to worry about! Poor Blaise doesn’t really stand a chance against this force of nature!
Blaise is a tad slow on the uptake with learning who his mate is – but I blame recovering from a “car accident” for that lol. He just stumbles from one oral disaster to another by sticking his foot in his mouth, his dry spell seems to have affected his seduction skills lol.
The book does span a short space of time and it is fairly full on. Wild Bill and Gus steal the show just about – we really need a prequel with these two or for them to get a HEA, although who could handle Bill????? Daisy seems to have been having a time of it and I can’t wait to see what happened to her and a certain dragon!
Blaise is a unique vampire. Only one other supernatural knows about his special abilities. Isobel can make fireballs in her hands. They are mates but don’t know it at first. She runs him over trying to protect Liberty. I love how the PSI guys bicker but have each others backs. Mandy M. Roth does an awesome job of pulling the reader in and making it hard to put the book down.

I couldn’t put this book down. I loved the snark between characters and the love between Isabel and her friends. This is such a well written story with a few places surprising a laugh out of me. Loved the ending!

Finally, the dark and handsome vampire gets his story.
Blaise Regnier has been around for a very long time, watching his friends and co workers find their mates has him wondering.
Isobel Gilbert and her two best friends Liberty and Daisy had a horrible childhood. They were all survivors of horrible and painful child experiments. Each one gaining some kind of special ability.
Blaise is joined by a few other special ops to find three girls who happen to be of interest to the group who performed secret experiments on children.
Lots of great moments in this book and our favorite character Bill will keep you in stitches, he along with Gus once again help the group of supernaturals save the day in style.
Come along on another adventure with a few groups of hot shifters and vamps as well as Bill and Gus.
A journey that will make you want to start from the beginning and read them all over again.
Stunning read. So good. As book four I was so excited to read about Blaise and Isoble. This is a action filled adventure with so much excitement going on I couldn’t stop reading. The storyline is interesting with lots of insight into all the characters with a great storyline to follow. I love this series and this was a great addition. Can’t wait for more.
I loved reading Blaise and Isobel’s story and learning more about each of their back stories. Another awesome Crimson Ops story from Mandy M. Roth!
Blaise’s story
This book is part of Mandy M. Roth’s larger Immortal Ops world. We’ve met Blaise briefly in prior books, so that we know he is a vampire with a demon inside him. Our other main character is Isobel, whom we have also met, along with her friends Liberty and Daisy. Each of the three women have talents that they initially are unaware of, each becomes introduced to agents of the Immortal Ops organization, and finally opening to their unique talents. And each successive book adds new threats to the operatives and their chosen ones. All of these series of books follow closely the same format, but each is enjoyable to read because additional characters are introduced and you become vested in their eventual stories. I’m looking forward to the next book in this very extensive series. Bat Out of Hell is well written, with no grammatical errors. I received an ARC of this book from the author through Booksprout, and this is my honest opinion.
We find out a lot of previously unknown information about Blaise in Bat Out of Hell. The rest of the Teams have always teased him about being in his cups to much and the side effects, but nobody saw any of this coming! What’s this you ask? You really need to read the book to catch up on the latest! Then there is Isobel, a straight shootin female version of Blaise, of sorts. Her and her two besties, one of which we already learned was Rurik’s mate, share a 24 hour day like no others. A great addition to the Crimson Ops lineup!

Isobel has always felt like an outsider. She loves anything goth and vampire but she doesn’t care what others think of her as long as she’s got her sister/friend, besties. They not only know each others secrets, they balance each other perfectly. For as long as she can remember, she and her friends have shared the same nightmare. Lately she thinks she might be losing her mind, or is something dark from her past coming for her.
Blaise and his demon have been at odds lately. He can’t forget the past because it seems like they keep fighting the same bad guys. Someone is doing unspeakable things to supernatural children, again, and Blaise wants to find them. No, he wants to end them!
While searching through a burned out building, he comes across a scent he’s smelled before. He also realizes something evil from long ago has resurfaced.
When an attack forces Isobel to rush to her friends side, she runs into Blaise. Literally. Both soon discover that not only do they have insta-lust for each other but, an ancient enemy is after both of them.
I love Isobel’s attitude, she one tough woman! She is just what Blaise needs.
Bill is my favorite!!! While reading, I know my neighbors think I’m playing a laugh-track!
I really like how it picks up where Act of Surveillance had left her before. The ending isn’t a cliffhanger yet, it left room to wonder about some things. Just makes me look forward to the next book.
Great characters and story building. Steamy. Funny. HFN
Oh Mandy, that was so worth the wait, a laugh a minute, Blaise and Is-a-belts story is brilliantly funny and absorbing, and I’m starting to think there’s a lot more going on with Wild Bill than anyone realises. Well done, again, on another great book.
