Highly recommend Mandy M. Roth and her Immortal Ops world. Bat Out of Hell does not disappoint. <3
Mistress of the night
This book is absolutely amazing! I love that it overlaps the previous story and they seem to run in tandem. The characters are fantastic, as always. They have such depth that they practically leap off the page. I love how Isobel and Blaise are the perfect compliment for each other and enjoyed every minute of them coming together. The author really outdid herself with the byplay between the characters, and I love that we got to see another layer to Bill and Gus. This book was impossible to put down and I was enthralled until the very last page. You just can’t get any better than this, but I am looking forward to reading the next book to see the author prove me wrong!
4.5 Stars
Many M. Roth did a fantastic job with this latest installation of the Crimson Ops series. This book is filled with the classic writing style of this author which means that we have terrific character work and an engaging story line that will keep your attention from beginning to end.

Totally worth the wait. Love getting to know the fang gang better. Blaise and Isobel burned hot, not just in a pun way! Absolutely loved the story. The interactions between all the Ops members were so well written and the humour is in a class of its own. The ongoing issues with The Corporation and the Asia project, keep the plots intertwining and become even more engrossing. Bill steals the show as always but what I love is Mandy’s ability to write Scottish dialect and turns of phrase, she is a master at this. You need to be caught up with the series to understand to goings on and comings and goings so what are you waiting for, get reading!
another un-put-down-able Book by Mandy M. Roth.
Blaise was the one of the “Fang Gang” Guys, i might have been looking forward to get to know most – and he did not disappoint.
Fell in Love with him from the get-go.
i also all the bickering between the OPs, that makes them seem so… i would say human, but they are so much more.
well, trying to tell someone how great a Book was, is a little lije trying to tell them how great Chocolate tastes…
so, grab a Box of Chocolate, grab “Bat out of Hell” – and HAVE FUN READING!
I don’t know what it is about this intertwine series I just cannot get enough. Blaise finally gets his mate which is actually in the nick of time because his inner demon it’s becoming harder to control. Is-it-a-belt lol as Bill calls her is a Pyro fae and her uncle is a hell hound but she is not. Some of the favorites from my last couple books are there as Mandys normal working each team until they all have their mates. The ending it was a surprise lol the Colonel is going to have to put in a daycare center at the rate the immortal ops are going lol
Oh my freaking gosh!!!
Its been so long since we have read any of the Ops books that i have to say i devoured it!
Once again the author has wrote a story that once you start to read you simply can’t let the book out of your hands.
The story sucked me in immediately and i honestly didn’t understand when i reached the last pages.
Every page made me laugh and enjoy so much reading the story.
Smart funny characters with incredible chemistry and of course bits and pieces of other couples we already know.
Blaise and Is are so meant for each other!
Another amazing addition to this amazing series!

I love how this stories time line mixes with the previous one! It added another amazing dimension to the already fabulous writing style of Mandy Roth. She makes their world come alive, her descriptions are so detailed and flow so well, like watching it in my mind instead of reading on my e-reader. Every story is better than the last. This one kept me up till early in the morning because I couldn’t put it down!
Holy bananas, this is a roller coaster of a book! This starts off with the signature humor that Mandy injects into each of her books, then gets serious, steamy, and really twisted. I love every book that she puts out, its guaranteed to be an incredibly armchair adventure every time! I highly recommend this, it has something for everyone. Thank you for another fabulous read!
Bat Out of Hell:An Immortal Ops World Novel (Crimson Ops Series Book 4)- Mandy Roth
Blaise is a 600 year old vampire who is in the Crimson ops (Fang Gang) and in this story he finally finds his mate although its through a lot of trails until they find each other.
Isabel lives with her friends who also have some unique abilities, hers if being able to create fire. She and her friends escaped the corporation years ago and were together in an home. Of course there is instant chemistry and a strange pull towards each other.
They live across the street from some crazy character that make this series fun and adventurous, especially from Bill and Gus. Suddenly many coincidences make sense and the challenges towards an HEA are entertaining, fun, drama, and appearances from several awesome characters from this world complete the experience.
I really enjoyed pretty boy Blaise. He got a good licking in in this one. Not that he didn’t deserve some of it. I think I enjoyed this book more because it is part of a series that I have already been reading. However, I hadn’t too much time between the last one and had to play a little memory catch up. I was happy that Isobel had her friends growing up as she really did not have a sweet childhood. The fact that these three girls are causing trouble with the elite Immortal Ops made me snort giggle. And with a side of Bill and Gus to boot! Isobel was perfect for Blaise. I can’t wait to see their future trouble. If you haven’t started these books, you really need to. If you have, then you need to nab this one.
I was so excited to get Blaise’s story. He has been one of those elusive characters waiting in the back ground for his time to find his mate, and Oh Boy did he find his mate! Isobel has just the right amount of sass for Blaise. I want to say more but I don’t want to spoil anything for new readers. I’ll only say you won’t be disappointed.
Obsessed for vampires
Isobel has been obsessed for vampires all her life. Then one day she finds out they are real. The day in question comes with lots of things that has happened and finding out Vampires are real may not be the biggest discovery of the day.
Isobel, Daisy and Liberty have been friends since they were very young and all in the same orphanage. Pulled together due to the fact all three can do things a normal human can’t.
This book is a great addition to the series yet a self contained story. Well written and very enjoyable to read.
Isobel Gilbert is a genius computer hacker. She’s using her skills to find out about the missing early years of her and her two best friends. Their lives are in danger and their past just may be the cause. Blaise Regneir is a hundreds of years old vampire who works for the Immortal Ops agency of the government. He’s been dealing more and more with his demons both physical and emotional. When Blaise meets Isobel he’ll be run over both in every way possible. Isobel can’t wrap her mind around the new world her and her friends have been thrown into. When Isobel literally runs over Blaise it’s love at first sight. Together they become a Bat Out of Hell of desire and danger.
Bat Out of Hell is the most recent of the Immortal Ops world book by Mandy M Roth. She continues the Crimson Ops miniseries with the story of Blaise a former doctor and vampire with the Crimson Ops division of the Immortal Ops part of the government. A woman put in danger while searching for her past and how she became the way she was. A vampire who’s trying to keep the desperation and out of control that seems to be working into his life. An instant attraction and danger combine to take these two people on an adventure that may bring them closer together. Bat Out of Hell has suspense, danger and laugh out loud scenes that will keep the reader entertained throughout the whole book. A glimpse into a secondary character that will have fans of Mandy M Roth wondering more about him and the mystery behind his past. These two main characters find their way to each other and through the danger that is following them. An unexpected character just maybe a lead to the past and charms may help to bring two people together. Bat Out of Hell by Mandy M Roth is a must read for her fans and will keep the reader laughing and wondering about the characters involved. You’ll laugh, and root for these great characters.
“Bat Out of Hell” is the eighth story in the Immortal Ops series and within this series it is Book 4, in the Crimson Ops series. It is full of surprises from the beginning until the end!
Each story in the series is a stand alone and the plot is different from most SciFi stories. Although, they can be read alone, I recommend reading them in order. They sizzle, smolder and electrify!!
Blaise Regniger is a six hundred year old vampire who has fae mixed in. His demon is strong and lately he’s had to fight harder to keep it from taking over. He fears that soon his demon will take over and he will become the hunted instead of the hunter. Ten years ago there was a fire in a group home. Isobel and her two best friends Liberty and Daisy escaped. They had a horrible childhood and were all survivors of horrible and painful child experiments. Each one gaining some kind of special ability. Blaise arrived at the group home to help with the clean up from the fire, he finds a charm bracelet in the ruins that belongs to Isobel and feels drawn to her but she has been placed elsewhere. He keeps the bracelet…Ummm, his demon was temporarily tamed. LOL
Fast forward, ten years, and we see Isobel, who is now a grown woman and is being hunted by The Corporation as are her friends. Blaise is part of the paranormal ops organization that he and his friends are going to rescue them. Blaise sees a picture during the operation of a young woman who is in danger and she has an immediate pull on his heart. Yes, this is Isobel! They are mates but don’t know it at first. She runs him over trying to protect Liberty. What a first meeting that must have been? Wait till you read about it! Turns out Isobel is the only one who can settle his demon. Blaise is a unique vampire. Only one other supernatural knows about his special abilities. Isobel is a Pyro fae and can make fireballs in her hands. The electricity sizzles between them but will Blaise be able to contain his Demon and can Isobel learn to master ability to throw flames?
I love how the PSI guys bicker but have each others backs. And Bill and Gus! What words can begin to describe how intriguing, amusing and important they are? I didn’t think much about them when Mandy Roth introduced us to them but now, I look forward to reading about them and their antics! Bill will keep you in stitches, he along with Gus once again help the group of supernaturals save the day in style and humor!
So much action, HOT shifters, Vampires, Bill, Gus, suspense, romance, hot sizzling sex and LOVE! Mandy M. Roth does an awesome job of pulling the reader in and making it hard to put the book down.
This is the fourth book in the Crimson Ops Series. I love this series! Blaise and Isobel’s story is fast-paced, action packed and suspenseful. The characters are amazing. Blaise is a fantastic and complex character. He is a vampire, with a demon inside him. He is hot! Isobel is a strong and wonderful character. The cast of supporting characters is impressive. I liked Liberty and Daisy, Isobel’s friends. The three of them are gifted. The other Immortal Team members Rurik, Bill, and Gus, are handsome, and supportive. The storyline is funny, steamy, and captivating, filled with danger and mystery. I love the humor in the story. This is my favorite story in the series, and I enjoyed it.
This latest entry of the Immortal Ops series features Isobel Gilbert and Blaise Regnier. Isobel is a survivor of the labs of the Corporation along with her friends Liberty and Daisy. She is very goth and is a genius with computers and has the ability to start fires. As long as she can remember she has been obsessed with vampires. Blaise is a centuries old vampire. He has lived many lives, mostly in some aspect of the field of medicine, but at the moment is a member of Crimson Ops or the Fang Gang, a division of Psy Ops. He is assigned to help another agent, Rurik, a bear shifter. Rurik has found his mate, but so has the Corporation, and his only allies at the moment are Gus and Wild Bill.
I love this series, especially when members of the Fang Gang are involved. Isobel and Blaise have explosive chemistry, and the action and excitement in this story never stops. Isobel and her two best friends are full of surprises and Gus and Wild Bill provide excellent comic relief.
The Corporation is far from finished yet, and I can’t wait to see who and what is in store for Daisy
OMG where to start with this book. I’ve been waiting to read Striker, but I am so happy that Bat Out of Hell came out before it! Blaise and Isobel heat up the book and keep it burning! I feel like there should be an additional book for them! I couldn’t get enough and neither will you!
I have always wondered about Blaise and who his mate would truly be. And this story in no way disappointed! Blaise hides his worries about himself and his demon behind humor and alcohol. And while that makes him the funny man who many want to be around, it also keeps people at a distance. He and his demon are old and have seen a lot. And Blaise feels his demon more and more every day. Isobel grew up in the foster system knowing that she and her friends are different. She just never realized exactly how different. And then you add in her infatuation with vampires, and it makes her seem even stranger to people.
I loved their connection and how everything started for them! Not everyone can say they were run over by Elvira LOL!! Isobel and her attitude just cracked me up and made me love her even more. And then you have her friends, Bill, and Gus? And I couldn’t help but love it and never want it to end. Throw in their common enemy, and it makes for a great tale! And I really can’t wait to read about the last friends story! Although, I am pretty impatient for a certain Scot’s story!!
Another triumph for Mandy M Roth’s Immortal Ops series spin-off Crimson Ops! Blaise has a dark tortured 600 year old vampire/fae soul. He fights the good fight against the evil Corporation and in the process finds his true mate at long last.
The hilarious antics of Bill and Gus make you laugh out loud! They are favorite reoccurring characters in many, many of the Ops stories.
If you want a solid story with the backing of a cool series, look no further. I’ll freely admit to being addicted to this supernatural world the author has built over the years. Like I said…Another Triumph!!
