If you have not read the first 2 books in the series, stop now and read them before this book. Bark Side Of The Moon holds the answers to many questions. Toby and Clarissa are a dynamic duo that can’t be stopped. Toby continues to find his way as a spellbound hound which is wonderful while Clarissa seems to embrace her journey.
This book is a good read that will glue all of the pieces of the puzzle together for a big picture.

Laugh out loud fun, emotionally thrilling, action packed magical adventure filled with exciting charters, witty dialog, heart racing twists and exciting yet dangerous mystery. Great reading adventure!
I so love reading about Toby and his hooman, Clarissa. I am sad that it is to be the final book of the trilogy and hopeful of new adventures Toby is growing in talent and Clarissa is still struggling to find a job and provide money to live on. Read to see how it all comes out.

There were some great twists I this one as well as some surprise reunions and characters you will love and hate. Clarissa is stuck she has no job and doesn’t know which direction to go in regards to finding the stone while Toby is progressing in leaps and bounds with growing his magic. I loved how there were times I felt just as disheartened as Clarissa as well as optimistic as Toby because there were time you didn’t know which way things would go. You will not be disappointed with this as there is plenty going on to keep you hooked, new friends to meet, secrets to be revealed and some great magic to see!

I really like this book. A talking dog who can talk to witches. I like the plot and the characters are fun. I can’t wait to read the more

Jobless, Clarissa is worried about lack of money. She’s convinced the machinations of the Pointed Woman, who killed Old Joe, are the cause of her being almost completely ostracized. Toby, who is more distracted by sammiches than squirrels, is developing serious powers, including spelling with alphabet blocks. Together, they must track down the sacred stones to thwart Miranda. Bark Side of the Moon is an enjoyable mystery, filled with humor and twists. I especially loved Toby’s interchanges with Star. I recommend Bark Side of the Moon.

Oh wow! This particular mystery was very exciting! I loved it! Toby os an amazing dog and extremely helpful to Clarissa. I love being able to ‘hear’ his side of conversations. Well written and entertaining! I love it!
Clarissa Page and her magical dog Toby have need to find the Four Stone as well as track down the Pointy Lady, Miranda Dervish, an evil witch who had killed her grandfather, Joseph Silverwind (“Old Joe”), and put a spell on Toby. There are not many leads and time is running out along with their money while Clarissa tries to find a job.
Old and new characters join Clarissa and Toby. Will they defeat the Pointy Lady or will she reach her evil objective and bring chaos to the world?
This series is best read in order so that everything makes sense as it goes along. There’s a lot of action packed in this fun read that I couldn’t put down. It is well written and full of interesting characters, and little Toby is so cute exploring his magic “skillz.” New friends promise new adventures and old friends help resolve current problems, like the Pointy Woman. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the next one.

This series is just fabulous! When Miranda Dervish (the Pointy Woman) had Clarissa fired from her job and blacklisted, Witch and journalist Clarissa and her familiar Toby the spellbound hound are barely scraping by and trying to figure out where the missing 4 stone is. Just a wonderful, enjoyable read. Great characters, some new but with all the older favorites. Book is much more enjoyable to read if the other books in the series have been read. I’m very much looking forward to the next book! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
GO TOBY GO! GO TOBY GO! GO TOBY GO! YAY TOBY!
GO TOBY GO! GO TOBY GO! GO TOBY GO! YAY TOBY!
WARNING: Please read books one an two before reading this one (and reading further in this review). As much as I would like to say you could read this as a standalone, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended reading the previous books first. It will be easier to follow this story line and understand my review. Especially the CHEER above. Now if you picked this one up first and really must read it first then go ahead because you will fall in love with it and will go back and read the beginning.
This is a great cozy magical mystery series too read. Fast, fun, magic, adventures and all with sammiches and squizzels too.
GO TOBY GO! GO TOBY GO! GO TOBY GO! YAY TOBY!
GO TOBY GO! GO TOBY GO! GO TOBY GO! YAY TOBY!
I knew you had it in you. So glad that my deductions from the previous books came true. Well the one about you. The Pointy Lady, it appears my hope was off base there. But you take the cake my friend, Toby. Old Joe, Yessssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now need to be careful of the sammiches and money. Maybe your new skills can help with that somehow. Good job with the squizzels. You kept your word.
I know it says book three of three but I hope to see more of you and Clarissa. There are still adventures to be found.
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
Toby and Clarissa are suffering from the drawn out process of probate, and dwindling savings, forcing them to some economy.
They have committed to helping the squirrels with a powerful mystical tree, and are still dealing with mayhem surrounding the missing stones.
Miranda the Pointy Woman is trying to get up to her old tricks, yet she seems to be not currently at full strength, yet also quite mad.
A bevy of friends and sometimes suspicious hangers on add additional excitement and confusion
Toby is one spell of a spellbound hound, and hope and fear linger
The final resolution of all their challenges has not yet come apparently- and more exciting reading seems to be ahead !

Return the Sacred Stones to their rightful place. Clarissa is trying to complete a task her late grandfather asked of her. To find the three missing sacred stones and return them to Jebediah’s Beech Tree before Miranda, his killer and a psychotic witch, finds them and harnesses their power for evil. With her magic wielding dog Toby, she is on a mission but has few leads, and has a deadline. I love Clarissa, the other friends of hers in the book, and especially Toby. He was a smart funny little dog. Thoroughly engaging story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review
Best of the Series, So Far
This episode takes up where the last episode left off. Yes, one should read these in order for the best enjoyment of the adventure. While the story arc covers all the episodes, each has its own special ‘something’. In this story, Toby is getting quite a handle on his magick. This book is very well written and it kept me on my toes. I couldn’t put it down once I started. I can’t wait to see where this series goes next. I received this ARC book for free from Booksprouts and this is my honest review.
The author has again given us wonderful characters. The story flows smoothly with humor, intrigue and magic. The story keeps us turning the pages to find out if everything will work out as it should.
