A delightfully entertaining contemporary romance with unforgettable characters and a beautifully written story that immediately drew me in and kept me totally involved in all that was happening from beginning to end in the beautiful setting of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. I loved the instant attraction and undeniable chemistry between billionaire jewelry designer Autumn Molinero and stand-up comedian and bike shop owner Kian Gould who is trying to solve a family secret. If you enjoy clean, flirty and fun romance don’t miss “Bargaining with the Billionaire” by gifted author Maria Hoagland. I received an advance reader copy of this book from StoryOrigin and am voluntarily leaving my review. I liked it so much, I purchased a copy to read again later.
Mystery, intrigue, ghosts, and romance all intertwined together to make this books so interesting and one I could not put down. I enjoyed how the story started when Autumn and Kian met aka as Taylor and Tyler in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It seemed as if fate brought them together even though Kian was just trying to help Autumn get out of a bad situation. I also enjoyed that this billionaire story was about a down to earth female which made it more intriguing.
It was fun to find out what tricks Kian was going to play on Autumn to try to stop her from buying his building. Of course he blamed the ghost, Mafalda. I also enjoyed learning about jewelry being made through the lost wax casting process. It sounded beautiful
I am so glad the mystery was solved and I especially liked the romantic ending. The characters of Kian and Autumn were perfect for this story. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
There were so many things to love about this book! I loved the way the main characters met. Kian saved Autumn from a creepy guy at an outdoor concert. I loved the mafia element, and the way Kian was searching for the truth about his family. And the plot just keeps the reader entertained from the very beginning .
Autumn was one of my favorite things about this book. She was the billionaire building a home. But she’s also helping in her dad’s shop in Eureka Springs. I love this zany little town! She and Kian keep meeting, but each time, she just finds more to be annoyed about. It takes Kian a lot of effort to get her to start liking him, even a little bit.
Kian might go about that effort all wrong! He starts playing little tricks on her that he attributes to a ghost. Autumn wasn’t sure what to believe. She has a hard time reconciling the great man he is when they’re together, with someone who may or may not be playing tricks on her.
I loved what these two find together! And it would spoil so much of the story to tell you what it was, so you’ll have to go get your own copy and read it to find out.
Kian and Autumn’s story is one of my favorites I’ve read lately!
I was sent an e-copy of Bargaining with the Billionaire as a gift from the author. All opinions are my own.
This isn’t the first time I’ve had the chance to visit Eureka Springs, Arkansas and I’m sure it won’t be the last. There’s a small society of billionaires who’ve set up camp in this small Southern town and it was refreshing to discover that down-to-earth Autumn is the one with money. Although she’s quite wealthy, she works hard and doesn’t put herself above anyone–very humble and sincere. I loved the way a chance encounter with Kian causes her to latch onto him, even with his mischievous actions.
Of course, the romance was my very favorite because I loved the connections and sparks this couple shared, but I also adored the importance placed on family, especially in light of an age-old mystery. And what a fun and inspiring mystery this turned out to be! The way it influenced Autumn’s jewelry designs was definitely intriguing.
Hoagland does a great job of bringing all these separate threads together and tying them into a beautiful bouquet of a book. I loved seeing old friends and meeting new ones and I can’t wait for more entertainment in Eureka Springs.
Content: mild romance

Autumn and Kian meet at a summer festival in Eureka Springs, Arkansas when she sees him and pretends that he’s her date in order to get rid of an unwanted advance by a stranger. Kian goes along with her. He doesn’t get her information to contact her but they happen to meet later when she asks for directions to her father’s store which is next to Kian’s bicycle shop. The billionaire in this story happens to be Autumn who designs jewelry. Kian owns the bicycle shop and is an aspiring comedian. Kian is trying to keep his shop by finding proof if Al Capone was involved with his great-grandmother in some way. This is a cute story with some mystery involved. Will Kian be able to find the information he needs? Will his practical jokes drive Autumn away? I was given an ARC but this is my honest review and I have purchased my own copy for my library.
