I have to be brave, they’re watching.Everything’s going wrong. My friendship with Jake is falling apart, Dr.Dangerous isn’t who I thought he was. People are putting themselves in danger and I don’t know what to do. Every move I make to uncover the truth is defeated by forces I can’t even see.I joined the gold team, the producers even like me now, but it feels like I’ve abandoned everything that … like I’ve abandoned everything that makes a good hero, in order to be a good hero.
Despite it all, Captain Fantastic still believes in me, and I can’t figure out why.
But I won’t give up.
This Friday Fitzsimmons story, is book 3 in the Hero High series and is set in the near future world of Icon City, a place filled with powered one-percenters.

Bargaining (Hero High Book 3) by Mina Chara is a short story that once you start reading you won’t be able to stop till the end. I can’t recommend this series enough and if you haven’t already read the first two books you definitely need to. Really they should be read in order then you will have a better understanding of what is going on as each follows the last one. So since joining the gold team the producers of the show seem to like her more but she knows she’s still being watched. Friday feels like the weight of the world is on her shoulders, things with Jonathan are rocky and she’s a bit overwhelmed with it all. She doesn’t feel as though she’s being true to herself and that makes her feel like a sell out. Find out what happens next in this must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.
So far this has been my favorite book in the series. We see a lot of action, answers to questions and shock…yes I was shocked. Things are turned upside down and I was not prepared but then I was disappointed in a certain character. But I do love watching Friday use her powers and always wondering what she is going to do next.
Anyway this is fun and like I said full of action. It kept my interest and made me want to know what was going to happen next. I was really able to stick with the characters and hope for their success. Friday’s story was a treat to read.
Bargaining (Hero High Book 3) by Mina Chara – Review by Makaela Patterson
So here we are at the third book of this series. This was a very interesting read the story didn’t go into the direction I thought would. It wasn’t a bad thing. It just took me by surprise. This series was fun with Dynamic characters. Book three was all about turmoil and everything just crashing around Especially her friendship with Jake. As you read the book it becomes clear that she doesn’t believe in herself; or thinks she has what it takes to be the best. She has to find the courage to embrace her powers, and believe in herself to fight this battle she has ahead. To help save everyone. This book picks up relatively quickly after the close of book two. You will not be disappointed with this read.
Bargaining is the third in the series of Mina Charas Hero High Series.
The book starts with a very brief intro and a flashback to the end of the second book, but I really would recommend starting from book one if you haven’t already, for me it’s not the type of series you can start reading at any point.
Book three continues to follow Friday Fitzsimmons. Friday is still battling enemies, but she also has internal struggles to battle. She knows what makes a good superhero, so why doesn’t she feel like one? I love the way you see Fridays character develop and grow throughout the series of books, she is strong yet insecure and vulnerable, which makes her very easy to relate to, she isn’t your run of the mill main character, which I really enjoy.
I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but if you’ve loved the books so far then this is a must read. It’s a short story but as usual it’s action packed, with a few surprises along the way!
This is third book in the hero high series and it is my favorite so far. I highly suggest reading all of the books in order to get the best reading experience the author intended us readers to have! The characters are the best part of this series because I can’t help but like them and because the the story is well written I feel like I am right there with them, experiencing everything too. There is a lot of twists and turns in this book and people aren’t what they seem. Go get this series now! It is worth the read and I am looking forward to seeing what else this author will come up with soon.
Happy Reading!
Bargaining (Hero High Book 3) by Mina Chara. Another great addition to a great series. I strongly recommend you reading them in order. Once again we taken on a journey Friday and a whole great cast of characters. Each one of these has gotten even better and this one definitely stuck to that. I love how unique and original this set is. Each character brings something different to the storyline and I enjoy them each for different reasons. It’s on the smaller side but that doesn’t hinder the punch it has. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Four big stars and highly recommended!
Bargaining by Mina Chara is book 3 in the series and is a 4 star read.
This book finds Friday fighting against everyone, not sure who is on the side of good or bad, her friendship with Jake is suffering and she’s getting closer to Ashley, but everyone has secrets, can Friday save the day without getting hurt?
This was a quick read and I enjoyed catching up with Friday and seeing how her superhero power would stand up against everyone else’s. The ending fell a little flat for me and I’m hoping there’s more to come.
I am loving the Hero High series by Mina Chara. I highly recommend reading the first two books in this series to get an understanding of Friday Fitzisimmons story. The adventure continues at Hero High in Icon City. It is because of Friday that I love this series. She is so innocent and inquisitive. Mina Chara did an amazing job with her attention to detail and character development. Not only did she create amazing characters but also a high tech world to entertain the reader. Friday is still trying to work on her life. She is a little confused in who she can trust and if the people in her life can help her. She is trying to be a good hero but is her faith in people stirring her in the wrong direction? I highly recommend this book as you will not want to put it down.
Bargaining is the third novel in the Hero High series by Mina Chara. This is my third novel by this author.
Continuing the journey of Friday. Things around her are starting to crumble. Her friendship with Jake is falling apart, and people are putting themselves in danger and she doesn’t know what to do. While the producers are beginning to like her, now that she is on the gold team, she starts to feel like a sell out. What makes a hero? The only good thing is that Captain Fantastic still believes in her and she does not want to give up.
This is my favorite so far. I love seeing characters not lose themselves when things around them are falling apart.
This was another action packed installment. Like usual, I wish the novel was longer. The ending just leaves you wanting.
If this is the end of this series, I look forward to reading the author’s next novel.
This is another installment of the Hero High series.
The story continues followiny Friday through her journey through Hero High.
Its adventure from the beginning.
When the identity of the Figure in the Flames is revealed everyone is in for a shock but no one more than Friday. When the Captain is retired against his will and friends turn out to be enemies can Friday overcome the odds to remain a superhero or will her temper and need for revenge turn her into a supervillian.
Bargaining by Mina Chara is the third book in the Hero High series. This is a series that does need to be read in order as it follows the same characters and their journey.
I was so excited to get my hands on this book. I had enjoyed the first two books in the series and I was looking forward to seeing how this one would go. I loved that it was so easy to skip straight back into these characters, almost like I had never been away from them.
As with the previous two books the story was exciting and fast paced. The author has done such a great job of developing it over the course of the series.
As a relatively new author to me Mina Chara is one I have enjoyed discovering. I am looking forward to seeing what other work she has!
Bargaining (Hero High Book 3) by Mina Chara
4 of 5 Stars
This is book three in Mina Chara’s ‘Hero High’ series featuring Friday Fitzsimmons. The series is set in the near future world of Icon City, a place filled with powered one-percenters. Although there is a brief catch up at the beginning of this novel, the series of books needs to be read in order, Denial, Anger, and then this book, Bargaining. The story centres around Friday Fitzsimmons who is a student at Hero High which is a famous school for people with powers. However Hero High is not just a school for trainee superheroes it is also a reality TV show and one of many on the Hero Channel. This book continues from, book two, Anger, and although Friday has joined the ‘Gold Team’ and is now liked by the producers of Hero High things are going wrong for her. Her relationship with friend Jake is falling apart, Dr.Dangerous is not who she thought he is and as soon as she is about to uncover the truth forces she can’t see interfere. Friday still has Captain Fantastic on her side though.
This is another short read but packed full of adventure, a fast paced storyline continuing with Friday’s adventures at Hero High. I have come to love Friday over the three books and think she is a great lead character, very likeable and in this story she is still overcoming her acute anxiety of which she suffers, this to me makes her a relatable character. She is also doubting herself, as she wants to be a good super hero but is worried that she is loosing herself in the process. The world building is great and really pulls you in so you feel totally immersed in Icon City.
Bargaining the 3rd book in the Hero High series, the book picks off where the last book finished. Friday is now hot on the trail of the golden syringes and has encountered Dr Dangerous again but doesn’t understand why he is so fascinated with her or why she has stated to have feelings for him too when she knows it is wrong. Throughout this book Friday starts to get more suspicious of the other supes around her and what their connections are to the golden syringes. She also finds out who the figure in the flames is, losing a part of herself on the way. Its hard to review this book without giving away the story but if you have read the first two instalments of this series you need to read this book too, the story is just getting better and I really need book 4 now to find out what happens next. Highly recommend.
This is book 3 of the series and I’ve enjoyed reading each book. In this one, we find that the main character’s life is in shambles. As her friendship is crumbling, she discovers Mr Dangerous is perpetrating. She feels helpless as people are being compromised. Hidden figures are controlling the hidden truth she seeks to unveil. As she’s thrown into more of the spotlight, she’s losing herself through it all. Mr Fantastic believes in her probably because he knows who she is no matter what. Her main purpose hasn’t been lost in hindsight.
Though this book wasn’t what I expected, especially after the previous ones. I personally feel like the main character lost her way somewhat in this series but Mr Fantastic quickly got her back as she was going off course which saved this last book for me. I’d fallen in love with the other two and didn’t wanna see her wind up like all the other characters but I don’t wanna give away too much of the premise. Overall, great book and beautiful series done by Mina Chara.
We are back to Hero High with the whole gang. Friday trying to figure out her way in Hero High but has trouble adhering to there ways. She enjoys been with her friends. A short quick read about teenagers and there. Friday feels like she can’t be her true self here she feels pressured. A nice adult fanstany book with plenty of action.
4 Stars
Bargaining is the third book in the Hero High series by Mina Chara. As with the first two books, this is a Young Adult fantasy adventure story set in a near future world, Icon City, and follows Friday Fitzsimmons on her incredible adventure. This book follows on from the first two, so I highly recommend reading “Denial” (Book One) and “Anger” (Book Two) before starting on this one- so you have all the backstory, character introductions, and other important facts that you will need in order to enjoy this book to the fullest extent.
Friday still knows that she’s being watched- but since having joined the gold team the producers of the show seem to like her more. But Friday can’t help feeling like she’s not being true to herself- like a bit of a ‘sell-out’. She feels the weight of responsibility, and with things between her and Jake crumbling- she feels a little overwhelmed, like everything is falling apart. She will need to dig deep and be brave- there is even more at stake than ever before and she will need to stay strong in order to get through it all.
Another great action-paced addition to the series- with so much to hold my interest- and that ending, OMG!!!
So, if you love young adult fantasy, with mystery, adventure, and ‘superhero’ types- then this is definitely a book/series you won’t want to miss.
Thank you, Mina Chara!
Bargaining (Hero High Book 3) by Mina Chara
5-Stars
Bargaining (Hero High Book 3) by Mina Chara was exciting and full of surprises. It had some romance as well as some tragedy. I was sad but also elated with the ending. Friday lost something important and I could feel the emotion behind it. I was amazed for the amount of action and craziness put into this short book. It was easy to read and get lost in. I was able to finish this in roughly an hour. I enjoyed every bit of it. Great book!
Bargaining (Hero High Book 3) by Mina Chara. This is the continuing story of Hero High and Friday Fitzsimmons and her life. It is better to read these books in order to keep up with the story line. Her friendship with Jake is falling apart and Dr Dangerous is not who she thinks he is. People are starting to put themselves in danger and she doesn’t know what to do. She is trying to find the truth but keeps getting shut down. She has joined the gold team and the producers even are warming up to her and Captain Fantastic still believes in her. She is determined not to give up but is afraid she is going to get in real trouble if she doesn’t watch it. read Bargaining to find out what happens.
This is the third book in this series, it is my favorite yet so far. I highly suggest reading all the books in this series to help enrich your enjoyment of the characters and the stories. The characters bring the story to life and made me feel as if I was right there with them. In this book everything seems to be falling apart, people are not who you think they are. By joining the gold team, it could mean giving up everything a good hero is meant to be. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. This is a really great book that kept me turning pages to the end. You won’t regret picking up this series.
This is book 3 of the Hero High series, absolutely not a standalone. This is a Friday Fitzsimmons story, as were the last two. This book takes you through all of the people she thought she could trust and those she thought she couldn’t. Will she submit to selling out as she feels some others have, or will she continue to be a hero? Find out in this third installment of the Hero High Series! I honestly hope there’s going to be more to this story. I want more!
