There’s another high school reunion taking place on the shores of Barefoot Bay and it’s bringing some timeless romance to the beach… ready to ditch the whole thing and resume his life as an adventure-seeking world traveler until he discovers a woman sobbing on his doorstep…and has an idea.
By her own admission, advertising copywriter Emma DeWitt is jaded, jilted, and jobless, but she goes over the edge when she learns that the resort villa that was supposed to be the site of her romantic honeymoon is occupied by a single man. But when the sexy silver fox whose staying in the villa surprises her with an irresistible offer to pose as his fake fiancée, Emma sees a way to have her week in paradise and begin healing her broken heart.
Mark believes every person has only one soul mate…and he’s met, married, and buried his. Emma believes that love is a marketing concept created to sell fairy tales and expensive weddings. What if they are both wrong…and completely right for each other?

Love this series and the beach setting.
Great book!! Loved the characters!
KEPT MOVING ALONG- NO BORING PARTS
Love the book something for mature readers
This book was targeted towards an older couple. Thoroughly enjoyed!!
Loved it! I wish if I were in that situation it would happen to me.
Thank you
Is it possible to have 2 soul mates? Sometimes it just takes the right meeting at the right time. Witty and warm. This is a great feel good story.
Loved reading about older heroes and heroines. What a nice change of pace! This was a good story and great characters. Definitely tugged at my heart strings. Nice to see the characters evolve.
Enjoyed that it was a book geared for those over 45, mostly
The characters were realistic and mature. I enjoy reading about characters that are over the age of 40 and depict an age group that is often ignored.
An excellent read.
It was fine
Love love this book! Being of the same age as this couple in the book, it give’s me hope and faith there is someone out there for that second chance of true love/ soul mate!
The publication is a very entertaining piece, sort of like a real life game of Liars Dice. But it’s all in good taste built around every author’s fantasy — “How would I act or what would I do if I was a billionaire?” … a sort of ‘just put it on my tab’ philosophy. But the story line is entertaining and the author puts more twists to the plot than any ordinary person would have thought was possible. I enjoyed it immensely. Bring on more like it!
Enjoyed!!
Enjoyable read and fun to follow Emma and Mark as they discover their attraction.
Love, love , love this book. Mark and Emma are wonderful well defined characters that made for a wonderful story. It was great to see an older character find quite a twist to the life that they had set up for himself. So many books have characters in their early 20’s whose lives revolve around issues of young people who have limited life experiences. This book gives those of us who are quite a bit older the chance to see that yes there can possibly be a second chance to find happiness when the individuals take a leap of faith.
The book seemed to be written well I just couldn’t get past the third chapter. I didn’t relate to the characters. The main character is a 48 year old widower and I just couldn’t get into it. This story might totally be great for someone else who can relate to character like I said the book itself was written well.
GREAT WRITING….enjoy all her books
I loved this book…..a second chance at real love. I love stories about younger people, but this salt and pepper-hair guy did it for me. Who says romance is for the young? Give me more of the silver-haired men. By then, they’re men, not boys!
