Following the popular series debut—NUDES was praised as “passionate, emotional and uplifting” by #1 New York Times Bestselling Author Lauren Blakely—contemporary romance author Sarah Robinson weaves a new standalone story where a second chance at romance is found on a Hollywood film set and secrets always have a way of being…exposed.Reed Scott is the hottest actor in LA… hottest actor in LA…Being a Hollywood heartthrob has its perks, and I’ve damn sure enjoyed every one of them, both on and off the silver screen. The tabloids loved every second of exploiting my privacy, chronicling my mistakes in ink for the whole world to see. Accepting the lead role in a romantic dance film was guaranteed to make me a box office hit and help me rewrite my image, until the choreographer hired to train me turned out to be the only woman I’d ever loved and lost.
As beautiful and enticing as ever, Tegan walks in and reminds me of the worst mistake I’ve ever made. She should hate me, and now she has the power to destroy everything I am.
Tegan Reynolds is picking up the pieces…
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice…never going to happen. I fell in love with Reed Scott once and it nearly killed me—literally. The last thing I want to do now is teach him how to dance, but I need this job and there’s no way I’m letting him take yet another thing away from me.
Reed is in my world now, and this time we’re dancing by my rules.

Bare
A second chance at love
A wonderful written book in the Exposed series. Teagan live changed the moment Reed left her at the alter. She hardly expected to be teaching him to dance on the set of his new movie. Reed was surprised he still had strong feelings for Teagan but after everything that has happened between them will she trust him again with her heart
(4-4.5 stars)
IMO you can’t go wrong with a Sarah Robinson book! Teagan and Reed find themselves on the same movie set. He as the lead actor and she as the choreographer. Except this isn’t the first time they’ve met. They were involved years prior. After reading the sentence that explains why they’re not together anymore, I immediately had to message the author and ask her just how she was going to make me love Reed. Well, she worked her magic and I quickly found myself rooting for these two.
Review in Exposed boxed set.
Bare is a story about second chances, fulfilling your dreams and overcoming unimaginable obstacles. Where Nudes was Aria Rose’s empowering journey of rise to fame in Hollywood -Bare is her sister, Teagan’s, inspirational journey of being the dancer she always dreamed of being… while getting closure and another chance with the lover of her life, Reed Scott.
With youth on their side and hearts in their eyes, their love was going to carry them to their future where there dreams would be fulfilled; only to end with bad decisions and regret. Now, with years between then and now regret and anger are all they have left. But lucky for Teagan, Reed knows what he had and is now willing to fight for what he let go back then. Only, Teagan isn’t having it. For her, he had his chance, made his choice and now he just needs to let her do her job for the film they’re working on and let it be.
But a love as strong and true as they have? There’s no ignoring it or the pull they still feel.
This story was much more than a second chance with the love of their lives, it was a truth Teagan lived and how much strength and determination she had to ensure her dreams became true. Her love of dance means more to her than anything and she proves that not even the tragedy could keep her from it.
With how strong and powerful the messages in Nudes and Bare, I look forward to seeing what powerful message we’ll get from the youngest Reynolds sister, Simone and her story in Sheer.
5 STARS FOR BARE!! What a fantastic second chance romance story. I loved Teagan and Reed’s story and they are waiting to tell you what really happened. The story has all the feels and beautifully told. Sarah Robinson writes the best characters I have ever read, strong women and sexy hot men that you can’t get out of your head. Do yourself a favor and read this series, you will love it. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley.
Bare is the first book I’ve read by Sarah Robinson, but definitely won’t be the last. I absolutely adored her voice and her characters in Bare.
Reed Scott and Teagan Reynolds had some pretty amazing chemistry from the moment they saw each other again. I honestly have to give Teagan so much credit for not punching Reed in the face the first time she saw him again years after he literally left her at the alter on the day of their wedding. Teagan was so very professional as she started working with Reed on the set to make sure his part in the movie was a success. Yes they were both still insanely attracted to one another, and just them dancing together was really like foreplay. I loved that Reed realized as soon as he saw Teagan again how huge a mistake he had made all those years ago. Yes he did it so she didn’t have to give up a major roll in theater, but he did so without talking to Teagan first.
While Reed’s road to stardom started right after they wedding debacle, Teagan was in a wreck that took her years to recover from and truly could have ending her career in dance forever. Again, Teagan really surprised me by not blaming Reed for the accident even though I honestly felt like he was partly to blame. She busted her ass to first relearn how to walk and then dance. Teagan’s spirit was one of my favorite things about her. I totally could understand why Reed still loved her all these years later.
I had mentioned how strong Reed and Teagan’s chemistry was and when they finally made love again, I swear my kindle screen fogged up a few times. I honestly found myself falling in love with them as a couple right along with them falling in love again. I knew something would come up to be a stumbling block to their happiness and wasn’t surprised when Reed messed up once again. He might be a great actor and strong person overall, but he really seemed to be a bit too self absorbed at times. Honestly that was really my only problem with the main characters in the story. I wanted Reed to have grown up and started acting like an adult at all times and yet he fell back into old habits rather than talking about what had happened.
Bare was a really fast read for me. I was so connected to the characters; I pretty much read any moment I had free time. I love when a group of characters pull me in and make me want more. As Bare is the second book in the Exposed series, I already plan to go back and read the first book before the final book is released. I honestly think romance readers who enjoy sexy emotional reads should totally give Bare a try.

4.25 Stars for Sarah Robinson’s Bare. The follow up to Nudes is the story of Teagen Reynolds, younger sister to Aria, and Reed Scott. This was a second chance romance set with a Hollywood back drop. Reed left Teag at the altar 8yrs ago, and life has been challenging since they last saw each other. Now thrown together on a movie set, their chemistry is still there but figuring out if they can trust taking a new chance is not easy. I really liked the story, the characters, Teag and Reed’s families and even the obstacles. The only thing missing for me was the intensity of emotion that I felt when reading Nudes, which blew me away. Regardless of that, Bare is a solid and lovely story of taking chances and not giving up on you dreams or emotions.
This was my first Sarah Robinson book and now I definitely want to go back and read book 1. Bare can be read as a standalone so I don’t feel like I was missing anything. I really enjoyed the story. I had a love/hate relationship with Teagan and Reed throughout the whole book which just made me enjoy it that much more. So much push and pull between them but it made for a entertaining, angsty story.
If you enjoy second-chance romances I think you will enjoy this story. Teagan and Reed were together for a few years before an abrupt breakup eight years prior to this story. They had great chemistry and it was tough for Teagan not to fall for him again even after what he had previously done to her.
This story didn’t have the same impact on me that the first book NUDES did, but it was still a great read that I really enjoyed. I loved seeing Reed going after what he had always wanted but what I enjoyed even more was watching Teagan make Reed work for what he wanted, she was not going to give in so easily. Their second chance is not an easy one, they still have a lot to work through and trust is a big issue. The chemistry was really spot on which had me rooting for them even thought there were a couple of times I thought they may not get their HEA.
This book can be read as a standalone, as all of the books in the series can be, but I would suggest you start with the first book so that you can see the growth of the first couple as they make several appearances in this book.
**I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book**
Bare is a second (third, and a way too many) chance romance. Reed is a total @sshat. Is he gorgeous? Yeah. Is he sweet? Yeah. But does he deserve a second chance to destroy her heart? No. Does he get one? Duh,it’s a romance novel.
Bare is definitely in touch with the vulnerable side. I was near tears a couple times. The fragile and raw relationship will definitely make readers fall further in love with these two.
I am really enjoying the series and was excited to see both Aria and Ben pop in to say hello. We also got a change to get to know Simone more. I can’t wait for her book!
BARE is the second instalment in Sarah Robinson’s contemporary adult NUDES erotic, romance series focusing on three sisters-Aria, Teagan and Simone. This is dancer and choreographer Teagan Reynolds, and actor Reed Scott’s story line. BARE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Teagan and Reed) BARE is a second chance story line between college sweethearts- dancer and choreographer Teagan Reynolds, and actor Reed Scott. Eight years earlier, on the day of their wedding, Reed Scott left a humiliated Teagan at the altar. Fast forward to present day wherein Teagan, a former dancer whose life was all but destroyed the day Reed walked out of her life, is currently the hired choreographer for Reed’s latest movie role. What ensues is the rebuilding relationship, friendship and romance between Teagan and Reed, and the potential fall-out as their dual careers begin to pull them apart.
The relationship between Teagan and Reed is one of second chances. Teagan’s love for Reed is masked by her hatred and the humiliation on the wedding day that never was, a day that all but ruined her career and destroyed her life. Reed had no idea the damaged caused on that fateful day but eight years later our hero is desperate to renew his relationship in the hopes of a happily ever after. Reed’s manwh*re reputation precedes his reintroduction to our story line heroine, a reputation Reed and his manager are working to overcome. The $ex scenes are erotic, intimate and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
Both of Teagan’s sisters play secondary and supporting roles as well as Aria’s husband Ben Lawson (Nudes #1) and their daughter Tillie, Teagan, Aria and Simone’s parents; Reed’s agent Jason Allen; and Reed’s co-star Elena Stravinsky who pushes a little too hard at trying to seduce our story line hero.
BARE is a story of second chances; of betrayal and forgiveness; of romance, love and happily ever after. The premise is entertaining and edgy; the romance is a back and forth, push and pull between two people whose love for one another has never died but struggles in the face of past sins; the characters are spirited and energetic. BARE is a passionate tale love, betrayal and loss.
The past has a way of showing up when we least expect it. For Teagan and Reed, it brings love’s worst mistakes and most haunting regrets with it. Bare is the tale of young love gone wrong and fate’s determination to heal it. Robinson pens a haunting routine of heartache and immaturity. Emotions flow. From temptation to frustration, the twists are endless, but the end result is divine.
