A romantic seven-day cruise is the perfect start to bakery owner Hannah Swensen’s marriage. After an extravagant honeymoon, Hannah’s eager to settle down in Lake Eden and turn domestic daydreams into reality. But when her mother’s neighbor is discovered … neighbor is discovered murdered in the condo downstairs, reality becomes a nightmarish investigation. Victoria Bascomb, once a renowned stage actress, was active in the theater community during her brief appearance in town . . . and made throngs of enemies along the way. As Hannah peels through countless suspects and some new troubles of her own, solving this crime—and living to tell about it—might prove trickier than mixing up the ultimate banana cream pie . . .

I have every book she’s written. Love the characters! Always a great read.
On my kindle, this was a frustrating experience. The cute storyline was interrupted by recipes. These recipes should have been placed at the end of the story. No more Fluke on kindle!
some of characters are annoying. certainly not close to real life.
Great cozy mystery.
I used to really enjoy these books, but frankly I’m a bit tired of the fifth grade level writing. The recipes are okay, but I find the instructions annoy me. How many times do I have to be told to have clean hands or that eggs can be whipped in a glass with a fork?
The relationship of being married seems fraught with questions of things that should have been discussed or worked out before a marriage.
I enjoy the Joanne Fluke Series. This book has a very interesting twist and I am looking forward to the next book to find out what happens next!
ENJOYED THIS BOOK
Not as good as some of her others, but the recipes were great!
Anything Joanne Flukes writes is a winner! The recipes are great too.
A great addition to the series. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
As with all of Fluke’s Hannah Swenson novels, this is great. I’ve read almost all of them and are planning to read the ones I’ve missed.
Where is Ross Did I miss Something…As a New Joanne Fluke Fan,after Watching “Murder She Baked” On Hallmark Based On a Friends recommendation,The Last 2 Especially…Waiting For The next one to be released(Shortly)
Lots of fun and unique recipes too. I am going to try the sausage and cheese breakfast bake.
Entertaining, nice diversion, but couldn’t put it down.
Enjoy all of her books. Sometimes more fluff conversation than needed but I like relaxing with Joanne’s tales. Thank you
I used to really enjoy this series, but it’s gone downhill with the last couple of books.
I love these books. Entertaining and a quick read. Love all the recipes!
Love this story line.
I’ve been a Fluke fan for a long time but I think these characters are getting predictable and while I love the recipes, all the attention to food remarks are getting a bit old.
Same old plot. Seemed like half of the book was recipes. Glad I only paid $1.99 for it.
