I told him I’d watch out for his wife if he died.
The task was easy enough when I was overseas.

This book had me after the 1st two pages, I had tears in my eyes and it just got better and better all the way to the end Remy and Parker were best friends forever and when he and some of their others close friends graduated from the marine corp, she wanted to be more than friends, she wanted him for herself. But Remy couldn’t or wouldn’t face his true feelings because he was afraid to lose her friendship. That night he rejected her and broke her heart to pieces changed their lives in the worst possible way. Her life, her world was turned upside down. A very emotional storyline that has all the feels and captivating characters that are believable with ups and downs, tears, heartache, forgiveness and a deep love that never went away. My first book by this author and I can’t wait to read the next one in this series. Loved it!

Wow this story was everything I was hoping for. This story has all the feels. You’ll be happy, laughing at the witty, crying at the sad parts and your heart will actually swoon at parts as well. This book seriously has all the feels. I can’t wait for book 2.
Go grab your box of tissues and get ready for an emotional ride that starts from the very first chapter. Remy and Parker have a long history where they started off as friends and after one horrible night they became enemies. There is a lot of push and pull in this book as secrets are finally revealed and Parker and Remy work to repair their relationship. Remy’s reason for pushing Parker away didn’t really make sense, she should have made him grovel a little bit more. There character were all fantastic especially Parker’s son Knox, he was such a little sweetheart. I really enjoyed this story! There was action, danger, laughter, tears and romance. A great read and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!!

Not. My. Name.
She held my heart and my soul and in an instant of stupidity and ignorance I let them all be lost.
Since we were kids Parker Jane had been my everything. So why, when the woman, that was the air that I breathed, finally wanted me I became the stereotypical male #!%che?
I hurt her, tore her heart to shreds and left her to pick up the shattered pieces following the events of a horrific night, that if I had only listened would have changed a lifetime.
Now I am back in Birch. Parker is there; being stalked, tormented, ridiculed, ostracized. It’s my fault and I know it. Will I be the man that I need to be or will I continue to destroy the only person who never gave up on me no matter what? Time to go balls to the wall, Remington.
I had a tough time connecting with the story and I thought the “fight and issue” could have gone a different way.. overall it was good, I think it was a me issue.
Absolutely stunning. I’m speechless. Straight away I knew this was going to be an emotional read and I was worried for my cold black heart. I’m sitting here just blinking and clapping and giggling and trying to breathe like a normal human. I’ve been totally rocked by this book.
Remy was just so, God my heart, he’s perfect. I adore him. I’m his, I think. He had me captivated with his willingness to right the past. He refused to back down once he got Parker in his sights and he was ready to catch her when her world continued to crumble.
Parker was so damn strong and just trying to do what she thought was right for those around her. She sacrificed happiness and inner peace to be what she thought everyone else needed her to be and I felt so deeply for her. The two of them together made two shattered hearts beat again. It was epic.
We’re just readers on the outside but this book is gonna make us all go balls to the wall and who knows? Maybe we could be more?
Balls to the Wall is an emotional read. It is written in first person, so is all very mysterious and slowly reveals the pasts of two very troubled people. Remy and Parker grew up together. Their lives have really been strained. It all makes for a very emotional read.

Ok I admit I wasn’t too sure about this book at first but OMG I am so glad I finished it. Kennedy’s and remys story is just too good even with the stalker thrown in but there are a few loose ends I wished had been tied up like catheter nurse

Great introduction to new series. The storyline is engaging and emotional rollercoaster will keep you turning pages.
Remy and Parker have a history but definitely wasn’t pretty. Hate is more fitting but between hate and love is thin line.
So ,are they hiding their true feelings?
It’s a second chance, steamy romance with a lot of drama and twists and turns
The book is well written , engaging and entertaining.

This was a fantastic romance! The story was well-written with wonderful characters and a storyline that had me turning the pages. There was plenty of action, danger, suspense, emotions, drama, romance and steam. Remy and Parker had alot to overcome but their sizzling chemistry and undeniable attraction was off the charts hot. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it!

Remy promised Danny that he would look out for Parker and Nox. It’s getting harder to do that – someone ran over their dog, tossed a fireball through the front window, and threatened Remy and Nox. They have acquired a stalker. But who? This is my first book from this new-to-me author, and you’ll need tissues. It’s an incredible story, one that I’m glad to have read. Remy and Parker are both hard-headed and stubborn, keeping secrets from each other and their families. Just when they try to clear the air and be honest, the unthinkable happens. Daisy, Remy’s working dog, falls for Nox. He’s an incredible child, wise beyond his years. Parker has done an incredible job of keeping Danny’s memory alive, especially considering that he never got to meet his son. I’m looking forward to the next in the series.

This book had everything I like in a story. Drama, angst, secrets, recriminations, chemistry and a satisfyingly good happily ever after. Parker and Remy had a connection that was full of emotion, which kept me engaged in their story. I look forward to the continuation of this series.

4.5*
Wow! This is the second book from this author I have read and in this one I had tears in my eyes from the first chapter. This is the first book in this series and I’m already in love with the characters and can’t wait to read more. This was an emotional, a bit funny, drama filled, full of secrets, an adorable 5 year old and a sassy dog, second chance romance with a crazy stalker thrown in. I loved Remy and Parker’s story.
I received an ARC and volunteered to leave a review.

Balls to the Wall is a very emotional friends to enemies to lovers romance. In my opinion, this book felt a lot like a second chance romance except it wasn’t really one because Remy and Parker never really dated each other. But there were a lot of past (and present) feelings between them.
I was a bit confused at first when I started reading because I couldn’t quite figure out what could’ve possibly happen between Remy and Parker. Honestly, it took me a while to really grasp how their friendship, or lack thereof, and their feelings evolved through the years. There were so many hidden feelings, so much angst, so many hidden emotions and misunderstandings. There was so much history between these two that my heart broke mainly for Parker.
This is a very emotional story. Parker went through a lot in her life, living in a small town where everyone shared opinions on what she should do and everyone thought they knew what really happened between her, Remy and Danny, her husband, before they were deployed overseas. Remy was a cop now, back home, but he kept his distance from Parker even though he promised Danny that he would watch out for her. Slowly, we get the full picture of what really happened between Remy and Parker. Which brings me to the reason I didn’t love Remy, his motives for staying away from Parker didn’t make sense to me. I definitely understood why he pushed her away before his first deployment but it just didn’t make sense how he was still keeping himself totally removed from Parker’s life in the beginning of the book. Also, Parker should have definitely made him grovel. I think there were a lot of secrets and guilt that just generated a lot of hurt especially in Parker’s, and also in Remy’s, lives.
Remy had some redeeming qualities: the letters were amazing (you’ll get it if you read the book) and his relationship with Nox was heart warming and cute. His character development was good but he never really won me over. Parker and Remy had a lot of chemistry between them, so I certainly enjoyed when things started happening between them. I really enjoyed the secondary characters, the small town setting and I’m very intrigued about the next book in this series that will be Kennedy, Parker’s best friend and my favorite secondary character, and Linc’s story. I’ll definitely read the next one in this series.
