Home from their unexpected deployment, the former members of Marine Force Recon team Sidewinder rejoin their loved ones and try to pick up the pieces of the lives they were forced to leave behind. Ty Grady comes home to Zane Garrett, only to find that everything around him has changed–even the men he went to war with. He barely has time to adjust before his brother, Deuce, asks Ty to be his best … best man. But that isn’t all Deuce asks Ty to do, and Ty must call for backup to deal with the business issues of Deuce’s future father-in-law.
Nick O’Flaherty and Kelly Abbott join Ty and Zane at the wedding on an island in Scotland, thinking they’re there to assuage Deuce’s paranoia. But when bodies start dropping and boats start sinking, the four men get more involved with the festivities than they’d ever planned to.
With the clock ticking and the killer just as stuck on the isolated island as they are, Ty and Zane must navigate a veritable minefield of family, friends, and foes to stop the whole island from being destroyed.

I am going to be so sad when this series is over. And while this was not my favorite book of the series, it was still a 5 star read. If I want to go back and visit the characters again, it is a five star read for sure!! And I will be coming back often to relive their story. This one takes place in Scotland for Deuce’s wedding. It is an island of murder and mystery to the the max. And a huge bomb is dropped for sure. Love Zane and Ty and love their dynamic. They were back to being happy and in love this time around, which was such a relief from the sadness that plagued the last read. I have not read the spin off yet, so it was nice to have Nick and Kelly in their, but I wish they were more the background for sure, especially since they have their own series..either way loved it still.
Let me just start off by saying that I am madly in love with Ty and Zane (swoon)! While not my favorite in the Cut & Run series, this was still a serious entry and the setting was my absolute favorite place in the whole world, Scotland!
The love between Ty and Zane continues to grow and deepen, and I just sigh every time they interact. Ms. Roux knows her characters and continues to give them room to grow and surprise us with the depth of feelings for each other. Sometimes I get sad because I know at some point this series is going to have to conclude and I can’t even bear to think about it.
This time we get to see the blossoming love affair between Nick and Kelly which was a joy to watch. The undercurrent of emotions between Nick and Ty as they try to come to grips with their fragile friendship was also gripping to experience. It was also nice to see Zane and Nick become comrades of a sort.
As is usual with a new book in this series I eagerly devour the book, then I have to go back and reread the entire series all over again to experience the joy of the beautiful love story of Ty and Zane. Thank you Abigail Roux for giving them to us!
Duh! Of course Ty & Zane get another 5 stars! Great read, love And brought back Chester, who may very well be the greatest of the greats.
I loved all the drama from the Grady family. I finally got more Deuce and Livi. I really like Deuce and always wished he was featured more throughout the books. Oh well, I had my chance here. It was fun to get to know the extended family and all their quirks.
At first I objected to Nick’s POV but then I got the gist of why the author brought him into the equation. Personal issues between Ty and Nick escalate to the point of huge explosion where the truth comes out and wow, I loved those volatile moments where both men showed their vulnerabilities and finally cleared the air. As for Zane and Ty together… As cute and funny as they can be with a extra romantic twist.
I liked how the questions as to who was the major culprit still remained by the time the book was over. I have a feeling that the last one will have big things happening and I am eager to get to it. All the mishaps happening while Ty and Zane are on “vacation” just made for suspenseful and entertaining read for me. I loved the book: the humor, the sarcasm and all the struggles they had. Awesome! I highly recommend it!
