Happily-ever-after.That’s what happens when you get married.Right?Turns out sparkly rings, cake and a fantastic wedding do not automatically grant you that, not even when it’s all you truly want.I’m even starting to doubt the bottomless, unconditional love I share with the man I married will be enough.I can’t have happily ever after, know why?Because I can’t give Romeo what he truly wants. I’ve … can’t give Romeo what he truly wants. I’ve tried. So hard. I won’t be happy unless he is and something is missing. Someone.
Paparazzi are in my face. The flashing cameras and prying eyes are everywhere. My secret is getting harder to hide, and I know the second the scoop is dished the grip I have on the fraying rope of that happily ever after will snap right in my face.
In our face.
I can’t let that happen. No matter what.
Because with or without a happy ending, Romeo comes Before Anyone Else.

Oh, this book was a long time coming. I’m a huge fan of Cambria’s so I’ve always been well aware of the constant barrage of questions that she has received this past year about whether or not Romeo and Rimmel would have a baby of their own, and whether or not we would get the lovely chance of reading it.
I’m so glad that we did.
I admit that I was a little turned off by the title of this book at first. I’ve just always really disliked the term “bae” but it was easy to get over, especially considering it worked for the story and it fit. Like most things, Cambria used it in a way that made it special.
I was shocked at how the book was going in the beginning. The characters touch on a pretty sensitive topic that tugs at a lot of heartstrings for a lot of people, me included. But at the same time, it was nice to read a story that was so real and raw. It wasn’t a perfect little fairy tale for the couple, at least not in the beginning, and it made them even more relate-able and easy to fall in love with.
It took me forever to read this book, though I’m not exactly sure why. I just kept taking breaks from it but, as soon as I could, I would delve back into it. I’m not sure if it was the subject matter or just life in general (keeping with the theme, I’m pregnant too! Yay!) that kept me from sitting down and finishing it, but I’m glad that I finally got to.
Romeo and Rimmel’s story is a beautiful one and, though I’m bummed that this will be the last book in the series, it wrapped up their story nicely and was well suited to the Hashtag family.
Overall, a great book that I absolutely loved.
As soon as this book released I dove in and read all night. A great finish to an amazing series. So fun to spend time with our favorite characters again!!
I have really enjoyed the entire series!! Great reads, quick and unique to each relationship and situation. Frequently, I see a writing trend in an author and every relationship follows it somehow — but that is NOT the case!! The author did an amazing job applying every character and their personalities to the relationship(s).
I listened in the Audible unlimited package 🙂

This is a reread for me. Back in the day I only rated books but now review them. So here goes…
Oh the feels with this one. I shed so many tears and my emotions are all over the place. I was happy, sad, happy, angry, and happy all over again. This was definitely a good way to end the #family saga.
This whole series has been fantastic! One of my faves and it was just as amazing the 2nd time around.
I just love this couple and loved the way this book shows us that happily ever after still has bumps and heartache all the way. Romeo and Rimmel’s journey on trying to get pregnant and dealing with becoming a celebrity is rough. I think this author did an amazing job of writing on this sensitive subject. Love the family and would love for this to become a never-ending series.
This book was just fabulous. Knowing it was the official LAST book of the series, I did not want it to end. When you read a series this long where the characters are in a family-based atmosphere, you can’t help but fee like a part of the family.
You break when they are broken and you are filled with excitement when they are reaching their HEA.
In this book, Cambria brings us back with the fam and their ever present challenges of being famous couples. With expectations from the media and fans, it can get a little stressful and heart-wrenching.
At the very beginning of this book, the author takes your heart and just rips it a part. BUT I promise by the end she will have put it all back together again.
All Rimmel wants to do is to be able to give Romeo what he always has wanted- a family of his own. Yes they have their “family” with Braeden, Ivy, Drew & Trent; but they both want to make their own family and legacy. But no matter how hard she tries Rimmel can’t seem to follow through. And it is becoming even harder and more stressful with all the media focusing on them and their struggles.
This book will bring you to tears, and make you love and laugh with great joy, and make you feel a sense of belonging in their family throughout the whole book. Such a great way to end an incredible series.
I couldn’t mark this book as “read” until I had the words to write my review. I had no idea I had #Bae tucked away on my Kindle, imagine my happiness when I was scrolling through my library and there it was, just waiting to be read. I loved reconnecting with the #Hashtag family once again, they feel like old friends, friends you’re sad to let go of. All great things must come to an end and Cambria Hebert did a phenomenal job on #Bae.
#Bae has sensitive subject matters, subjects that I feel Cambria handled with grace, tenderness, and pure raw emotion. It’s often difficult for an author to portray a character’s mental state while going through something so heartbreaking. Yet, as a reader, we felt everything this particular character felt; the coping mechanisms, the fear, and the anger. Cambria bared this character’s soul to us and I feel as a reader it was done perfectly.
I’m sad to see my favorite family go, but happy to see that everyone got their happily ever after. I’ll always love the #Hashtag series, it’s one I’ve recommended over and over again. This series is is close to my heart and I’ll probably re-read it in the future.
This book touched on emotional and sensitive issues but it was done really well and I could not put the book down.
Some small loose ends from previous books are tied up in this book to make it a perfect ending to the series
Although I am sad that the series is over, I am so glad we got this book. I’m such a huge fan of the whole series, that I didn’t really care what it was about. I was just so damn happy and excited that we got more of the whole gang. I love these characters so much that I want to hang out with them!

“All I expect is for you to breathe.” -Romeo
Romeo and Rimmel are having a happy marriage. Everything is going peaceful when one day Rimmel wakes up to have her world shattered. Her and Romeo are trying to pick up the pieces to heal together, but the press, and some people from the past have other news for them.
“I finally accepted the fact I was really struggling today, and with that acceptance, it became a little easier to breathe. “-Rimmel
I like that the relationship did change after the horrible news. Romeo and Rimmel still love each other but dealing with their grief has put a barrier between them. The way they work past that makes it that more realistic. Rimmel having to deal with her heartache but she puts on a front so no one worries about her. I love the heart of stone she is written with. She puts everyone else before herself. Most of all she puts Romeo before everyone else. She tries to remain strong for Romeo even when she is dying on the inside. Of course Rome knows what’s going on and makes her open up as much as she will let him.
“It isn’t your fault. These things, these horrible things just happen.” -Valerie
Most New Adult books have a thing me and a few people call magic peen. What that is is when a MC mostly a heroine has something horrible happen, most cases it’s rape, she has issues dealing with that as any human should. Then out of no where *clears throat, sings* here comes our hero to save the day with his magic penis!!!!*stops singing* All of the sudden our heroine forgets whatever issues she had and is all better. NO!! Authors please stahhhp that shit.
Again as I was saying with the magic peen, this book does not have it. I wanted to jump for joy with that. Thank you Hebert for making this without magic peen. Romeo and Rimmel have to deal with real life shit. But it’s okay. They make it through it. They even become a stronger couple due to this.
“Here’s the thing: when you back a wounded dog into a corner, it’s going to come out fighting.” -Romeo
Romeo is a man after my own heart. He is up there on my book boyfriend list with the other Romeo from Sweet Home and Preppy from King. His love for Rimmel never faltered. If anything it grew stronger. Romeo also showed that even though you’re an alpha male, sometimes you need to lean on your queen.
Yes I recommend this series. Even though #Selfie and #Poser are not anywhere near my favorites I still recommend. I’m a little sad that it’s ended but hey every great series has that bittersweet moment. Now if you excuse me. I need to go crawl into a fetal position and figure what I’m going to do with my life.
