Looks can be deceiving in this hilarious enemies-to-lovers romcom complete with a shocking secret hobby, a heavy metal playlist, and an uninvited wedding guest!Chris Everson has a pretty sweet life: a great job as a state trooper, lots of buddies to hang out with, and he lives at the beach. What could be better? But he’s harboring a secret–a secret that doesn’t fit with his whole tough guy cop … whole tough guy cop persona. He’s gone to great lengths to keep his secret from his guy friends AND the women he dates.
Brynne Miller’s job as an ER doctor means she’s always meeting cops. In fact, she’s dated so many that her friends call her “Badge Bunny.” But she will never date Chris Everson. Nope. Not a chance. He managed to piss her off within two seconds of meeting him…and first impressions are everything.
Aren’t they?
Badge Bunny is part of the Romance in Rehoboth Series, where the ladies are strong and independent and the men are actually nice guys. These delightful romantic comedies are set against the backdrop of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware’s top vacation destination and do NOT need to be read in order.

Badge Bunny by KL Montgomery is book four of the Romance in Rehoboth series. This book can be read as a standalone but characters from the previous books are present in this book as well. This book is Brynne and Chris’ story.
Brynne doesn’t exactly find herself with a lot of free time due to her job. Therefore, she meets guys the only way she can. She can’t help that they happen to be police officers. But even so, her coworkers have dubbed her with the badge bunny nickname. She swears she’s done dating police officers after the last disaster but she certainly doesn’t expect to meet Chris shortly after swearing them off.
Chris is a Delaware State Trooper and finds himself pretty smitten with Dr. Miller. He can’t stop thinking about her and it works out in his favor that he’ll be spending a weekend in close proximity to her for his best friends wedding.
A series of events had Brynne and Chris bonding. Brynne starts to realize Chris may not be as bad as she originally portrayed him in her mind. Can Brynne let the police officer stereotype she has in her mind go and give Chris a chance? Will Chris finally be true to who he really is?
I really enjoyed this book. It evoked a lot of feeling but also had me laughing at some parts as well. You could definitely witness the growth of the characters by the end of the book and I was glad to be on that journey with them! Definitely a great book to read!
Badge Bunny is an enemies to lovers romance by K.L. Montgomery and is the fourth book in the Romance in Rehoboth series, but it can be read as a stand alone. Brynne is an ER doctor who has dated so many cops her friends jokingly call her badge bunny, but there is no way she would date state trooper Chris… Or would she? I have enjoyed all the books in this series and Badge Bunny didn’t disappoint! This story was highly enjoyable, Chris and Brynne are a great couple that are a perfect match even when they don’t see it. K.L. Montgomery does a great job writing a story that was sweet and full of humor, her characters are well thought out, realistic and show great character development throughout the book. I highly recommend this series to romance fans.
Probably my favorite at the moment, I really enjoyed Plot Twist but there was something about Chris and Brynne’s characters that really spoke to me and who I really enjoyed. I loved Brynne’s sass and how she wasn’t afraid to tell anyone what she thought. I really connect with her in that sense and enjoyed her as a person. Chris was so kind and caring and he was a man in uniform… oh lala! Loved him also and I would totally be with someone like him. This was a cute amazing story about two people that are meant to be, trying to find there way to each other.
Badge Bunny by K.L. Montgomery is the fourth book in the Romance in Rehoboth series. I have been loyal to this series since book one. I love the positive body image message in each one of her books and it isn’t all about weight.
Brynne is my soulmate. Her love on the old school metal bands made me love her that much more. Chris is a big softy in a hot police officers body.
So much happened in this book, and Ixm not sure which part was my favorite. I think it was one of their moments in the hospital after Chris had a rather interesting call.
I love, love, love this series and I’m impatiently waiting for the next.

Well, this has moved to my top read of this series I believe! I laughed, I cried, and I wanted to shake them all!
The character development, the story itself, just everything was perfect. I loved seeing all the previous characters from the other books in this series, but if you are only picking up this book, you wont be lost as its only about this couple. Youll want to read them after though so start with book 1.
Must read series, this an automatic 1-click author for me.
AHH! I love this series and author! I was so excited to read this book and it doesn’t disappoint! You can read each book as a separate standalone but they truly awesome books that you don’t want to miss out on.
Brynne is an ER doctor that kind of has a thing for cops. She has dated numerous cops which has caused her co workers give her the nickname badge bunny. She’s finally over the whole cop thing when Chris (a state trooper) enters the picture. Their first meeting isn’t ideal but now they are in the wedding party of two of their friends and hilarious interactions continue!
I loved this book from the very first page and was sad when it ended. I love all the characters in each of these books but Brynne and Chris are probably my Favorite!!!

4 out of 5 stars
Everyone has a type, for me it’s a well written psychological thriller or an entertaining romantic comedy, for Brynne it’s a man in uniform. Fortunately for me, Badge Bunny is everything I could have hoped for from a romantic comedy type novel. This was the first book I’ve read in the Romance in Rehoboth series and while it read well as a stand alone, I am looking forward to catching up on the other books in the series!
Badge Bunny grabbed my attention from the beginning and with wit, romance and plot twists that made the characters real and relatable the storyline kept my attention until the very end.
I thought the story flowed very well and once I started I really wanted nothing more than to finish it out until the end, uninterrupted. While Badge Bunny has normal romantic themed elements I really felt like there is something unique in KL Montgomery’s storytelling and I’m looking forward to delving into it more.

This is her fourth book the the Romance in Rehoboth series and I have to say it’s the most entertaining. This chapter revolves around the live between Chris and Brynne. Now I have to admit Sonnet and Drew were my favourite couple until I read this book. I fell in love with Chris and Brynne. There are so many layers to each of them that they are truly amazing. The story pretty much centres around Sonnet and Drew’s wedding. From dolphins to sharks, crazy parents to evil grandmothers and bites to baseball bats, there was so much craziness that I was keeled over in stitches. I loved this book. The story made me happy, emotional and had me crying tears of joy. I think the author outdid herself with this one. I highly recommend that you read this book.
Badge Bunny is the fourth book in the Romance in Rehoboth series by K. L. Montgomery. It tells the story of Brynne, an ER doctor who has sworn off dating cops after a few bad experiences, and Chris, a police corporal who seems to keep having to take people (or himself) to ER.
It’s a romance story and works brilliantly in that respect. There’s a playful friendliness in the relationship as it develops, and plenty of twists and turns and misunderstandings as the characters get to know each other. It’s enjoyable to read!
There is also a little bit of action and adventure – we see both characters responding to emergencies in their jobs, and also get to see them working as a team. The characters are well matched in skill, compassion and determination and happily let each other take the lead where needed.
The Romance in Rehoboth series is a collection of romantic stories set in one area, with characters who are minor in some books taking the lead in others. This means the stories work as standalones, but that there’s a well developed crew of supporting characters and you see the continuation of stories that began in other books. This is a really nice way of making the stories seem familiar and giving a bit more depth to the world.
For me this is a five star read. I read it in one sitting (on a plane – I started while I was waiting for the in flight entertainment to be available and then couldn’t put it down!). It was enjoyable and comfortable, with a bit of adventure thrown in.
A great read about perception. Doctor Brynne Miller has always had an infatuation for men in uniform. When police officer Chris Everson annoys her within two minutes, she swears that she will not date cops again. Instead, she chooses to focus on her friend Sonnets wedding but she cant seem to be rid of him. When they are forced together at a wedding, will they make it work for their friends big day. As events escalate, will Brynne be able to see there is more to a police officer and work together?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Chris with his sarcastic personality but caring side underneath or Byrnne caring for people no matter what but still standing up for herself. Great supporting cast of fun friends like Sonnet and Drew
I loved the visual detail throughout the novel like in the natural imagery of Delmarva with its beach and the sunrise/ sunset full of colour and beauty as something spectacular. I also loved the sense of bright colours with the dresses in the shop as something wonderful and the sense of full of people and life in the wedding scenes later on which was perfectly written. The use of different perspectives for chapters worked well to display both sides of the events and was easy to follow. Overall a great read and I would give it five stars.

Badge Bunny by K.L. Montgomery is another great romance read! It’s the fourth book in the Romance in Rehoboth series, a series that I would absolutely recommend! It’s sweet, romantic, real, honest and laugh out loud funny! Since I’ve read the first three books I can say that this book can be read as a standalone due to all of the detail, however, I would recommend reading this series in order as each book has an unforgettable storyline, plus characters from the previous books make appearances.
I love how without fail this author manages to write incredible stories that pull me right in, all of the detail from the characters, their surroundings to their emotions, all of the detail is there, which makes it a highly enjoyable and entertaining read! I absolutely loved the two main characters Brynne and Chris, though they seem like complete opposites they have so much in common and I loved reading how their relationship developed as they opened up to one another! Their story is one I won’t soon forget!
I would absolutely recommend this book and series to anyone looking for their next romance read!

Four Stars
I’ve not heard the term badge bunny. What a funny way to call woman attracted to men who hold authority. Brynne is a little uptight for me. She gives off this snobby vibe. I liked that she could hold her own up against Chris. What isn’t to love about a big strong man in touch with his sensitive side. I liked how the book focused on the guys emotion more. You don’t read enough books where the guy is the emotion one. Or the guy knows what he wants and isnt1affraid of commitment. A really good job for making the story flow smoothly. It was funny. I liked that the relationships between the characters were close. They seemed like more family than just friends.
I have read a few books from this author and I like the style of writing. It’s quite light and upbeat. This is why I keep coming back for more.
This book I felt was a continuation from ‘The Flip’ because it was the run up to the wedding. It was nice because I liked to see the characters from ‘The Flip’ get married but I felt as though at times it focused too much on that and not Chris or Brynne. I mean do not get me wrong I loved the story. It was such a good read. I just felt it focused a lot of previous characters stories.
I always love a good enemies to lovers romance and that is what drew me to this story. It is well worth a read.
Badge Bunny by KL Montgomery is the fourth book in the Romance in Rehoboth series. Each book in the series just gets better and better. Badge Bunny can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the series. In this book we meet Chris, a state trooper and Brynne, an ER doctor. Chris is attracted to Brynne and likes to bother her. Brynne has no interest in Chris. Will Chris be able to get Brynne to change how she feels and fall for him? The writing by KL Montgomery flows with ease and keeps you turning the pages. The characters are well developed and very believable. Due to the writing you really get to feel the emotions that characters go through. I definitely recommend Badge Bunny. And if you have not read the first three books in the series, go for it as you will not be disappointed.
K.L. Montgomery’s Badge Bunny is the fourth book within the Romance in Rehoboth series. This romantic comedy was fun of snarky banter, sexy innuendos, lusty forbidden thoughts and then the dam breaks. I really liked some of the tiny details that were added within this story to give it something more with a little bit of flair. The references to “bunny” in this story were absolutely hilarious and loved it. The story flowed without any detours and I enjoyed the pacing. K.L. Montgomery is excellent with her ingenuity of this series and each of the individual characters as their stories unfold. This story is my favorite within the set, so far.
Badge Bunny by K. L. Montgomery is a five star novel. I love when I get to read a series like this. Being the fourth book in the series, it is typically safe to assume you would miss something without reading the others. Although there are tie-ins and deeper connections to minor characters, this could be read as a standalone. I have thoroughly enjoyed every book I have read by this author. Her writing style is witty, charming, and hilarious. I love the back and forth banter that occurs between the characters and their love hate relationship. Brynne is the cute doctor in the emergency room. She is always chasing after the officers that bring in her patients. But after this last one, she is ready to swear off the badge and not date another officer ever again. Then Chris shows up. She is not impressed and only ups her resolve to find some other kind of man to date. But even though she seems to despise everything about him, she can’t get Chris out of her mind and he somehow just keeps showing up in unlikely situations. Then she realizes that maybe she shouldn’t swear off the badge just yet. Maybe one more cop wouldn’t hurt.

Stars: 5
This isn’t my first book by KL Montgomery, but it is my favorite! I’ll admit that I wasn’t all that sure about this book. I didn’t particularly like the book’s title, but I am so glad that I gave it a chance. This book id part of a series. However, it can be read as a standalone. Even though past characters play a role in this story, I never felt lost during this story, because I didn’t read all the previous books.
The main characters are Chris and Brynne. I had mixed feelings about Brynne. She seemed to be a bit brash. However, she grew as a character, and I really enjoyed her by the end of the book. She has such inner strength. I was worried about what kind of character we were going to get based off the title. I’m glad we got Brynne! Chris tries to be funny, but, at times, fails. He is more than what Brynne sees, and he is by far my favorite characters in this book!
Badge Bunny is Book 4 in the Romance In Rehoboth Series by K.L. Montgomery and was such a great read. Chris Everson is a state trooper who happens to run into a Dr named Dr Brynne Miller who he is immediately attracted to. Chris makes a horrible first impression and Brynne doesn’t give him the time of day. Brynne has a nickname in the hospital which is Badge Bunny but she is done with Cops / Troopers. They are all the same.
When Chris and Brynne keep running into eachother it becomes harder and harder for Brynne to keep her distance.
What her and Chris do not know, is they are both in a bridal party together.
Things go wrong at the wedding and Chris and Brynne are the two people who step up to take care of the 50 or so guests at the wedding. What happens when they lean on eachother for support during the time they are all stranded? Will they both feel the same when they are on land safe and sound?
This is definitely a book you do not want to pass up on. Grab your copy today! I haven’t read all of the books in the series and completely loved it so it can be read as a stand-alone.

Gawwhh. This book was fantastic. This is the 4th book in the series but can be read as a standalone. I LOVE Enemies to Lovers books! They are one of those tropes that i cant get enough of and this one was no exception. The author had such an easy flowing way of writing that i was hooked from page one and i couldn’t put this one down. The main characters in this book are Chris and Brynne, and lets just say they had a rocky start when they first met. I enjoyed seeing the banter between them and honestly i was rooting for a HEA for them from the start. I am will be reading more books by this author and i would recommend this one to a friend.
Review by Anastasia D.
Badge Bunny is the 4th book in the Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L. Montgomery. The books all centre around the same group of friends but each book is a separate complete story and can be read as a stand-alone. I had not read any of the previous 3 books in the series and did not feel as if I was missing any necessary information. Although, as I enjoyed this book so much, I’d love to go back and read the previous 3 books.
Brynne Miller is a tough sassy ER doctor, who has previously dated several cops which resulted in her co-workers giving her the nickname ‘badge bunny’. She now decided that cops are cocky, a**holes and she’s not going down that road again.
Chris Everson is a state trooper who is harbouring a secret, a secret that even his best friends are not aware of as it goes against his tough cop persona. In his first meeting with Brynne he manages to p*ss her off and she wants nothing to do with him and hopes to never see him again (but why is she constantly thinking about him!)
When the wedding of Sonnet and Drew (2 characters from a previous book in the series) comes along, Brynne is the Maid of Honour and Chris is the best man. Cue some hilarious interactions between the 2 of them as Brynne does her best to not give into what she wants – she wants Chris!
This is a hilarious read with great characters that you can’t help but relate to. I would definitely recommend this book to others.
