Your wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of your life, right? That’s what they say, at least. I went into that day hoping I’d get the happiest day of my life. What I got? The worst. I mean, you really can’t get any worse of a day without someone actually dying. So…I may have gotten just a little drunk, and maybe just a tad impetuous… And landed myself in a dive bar somewhere in … dive bar somewhere in Alaska, alone, still in my wedding dress, half-wasted and heart-broken.

Eight brothers, one bar.
Sounds like the beginning to a bad joke, yeah?
I kinda think so.
Wanna hear another joke? A girl walks into a bar, soaking wet and wearing a wedding dress.
I knew I shouldn’t have touched her. She was hammered, for one thing, and heartbroken for another. I’ve chased enough tail to know better. That kinda thing only leads to clinginess, and a clingy female is the last thing on this earth I need.
I got a bar needs running, and only me to run it–at least until my seven wayward brothers decide to show their asses up…
Then this chick walks in, fine as hell, wearing a soaked wedding dress that leaves little enough to the imagination–and I’ve got a hell of an imagination.
I knew I shouldn’t have touched her. Not so much as a finger, not even innocently.
But I did.

An unrealistic heap of too many stupid ideas.
Err. At first there really is nothing tangible to complain about. Just too many words and too many of them stupid. Then it multiples at an unnerving speed. First off, anyone meeting anyone in the situation of the heroine should give her a hug and then ship her back home. Not decide to keep her in an isolated situation with them. A person shell shook out of their skull is not the perfect candidate for your next love interest. Seriously. On second glance, there is a whole lot to complain about. The story is an unrealistic heap of too many stupid ideas. Which usually is just my cup of tea I know. But misses the mark this time, painfully shooting over it pretty much constantly as the story progresses. Out of this world irritating narrators, am gonna blame that on insanely stupid sentences written for them. Insanely irritating duo. Have tried a few times to listen, am giving up and returning the book. Don´t think buying the ebook will save the story as the real problem is the text.
This is going to be an interesting series. In BADD MOTHERF*CKER, the oldest brother Sebastian is running their late father’s bar. His will says all the brothers have to return home to Alaska to work in the bar for a year.
The story between Sebastian and Dru is wild-hot. They are insatiable and when they aren’t doing it, they are talking about what they are going to be doing. Both have issues with people leaving and we see how it effects them both differently.
This book is also the introduction to all the brothers as they return to Alaska from all over the world – from Navy SEALS to rock stars, the brothers all out their lives on hold for a year – not just for the Will. You’ll be pleasantly surprised when the reason for all 7 returning home is explained.
Marines always writes stories that are so exciting
I have enjoyed and have purchased this entire series and the spin-offs by Jasinda Wilder!
I loved how all the books tie together.
Saving the damsel who can save herself
I was a little hesitant to read this, especially given some of the reviews. Okay, so the book had a lot of vivid sex, but if you don’t want to read that either skip it or read clean romances. The book was setting up the series so the fact that the brothers were all introduced was not surprising, nor were the levels of testosterone. These guys were raised by a father and older brother in a bar, and are all hot. To not expect them to be gruff and man-whores would be more unrealistic.. anyone who has spent time in the bar scene, especially in a tourist town would know this. I loved the heroine, Dru. I loved that she didn’t take jack from her ex- or from the Badd brothers. I love that she could definitely handle herself and didn’t need saving. While most of the book was not surprising, there were a few surprising moments.
Good and erotic very good interaction between the characters!
Enjoyed this book. Look forward to more by this Ms Wilder.
It was badddddd
It was interesting the family dynamics between the brothers they are each struggling with their own issues but are available to support each other and that is the real story is the family affection and support triggered by the oldest brother Sebastian who is all heart.
I love this author!
Love these Badd Beothers! One of my favorite books but loved the other books about all the loved Badd Brothers stories.
I would give this 10 stars if I could. Jasinda Wilder is a rock star writer. This series and the characters she has created just draw you in and I never want to leave. I couldn’t put this book down. Each story in this series builds on the last. I loved reading about the Badd brothers and each of their love stories. I have re-read them all several times because the stories are that amazing. This is a smokin’, red hot, scorching read. Grab this book. You won’t regret it!
Badd can be so good especially with 8 of them. Looks like I’m going to be busy catching up with the rest of the Badds.
Badd Mother… has an unforgettable start and a tease of an ending. Somewhere in between is a love story thats wild, steamy, and filled with flying fists.
Fall in with a Badd crowd and find you never want to get out!
2.5
Cute. Quick ok read.
Very fast. Jilted on her wedding day, in love two days later with someone else.
It had potential but too fast for me. Lots of introduction of the other seven brothers but not enough of a story about H and h. More back story and introductions.
Epilogue about next brother. will not continue series.
A Great Start to a New To Me Series
I’ve always been a fan of Jasinda Wilder’s books, and I’ve been collecting the Badd Brothers series for awhile, and now I’m binging this series…And after reading BADD MOTHERF*CKER, I know it’s gonna be worth the wait…
First, I love Sebastian Badd…dirty talking, all alpha…hot….Sebastian has 7 brothers….While his brothers have gone out and lived their own lives, Sebastian stepped up to help their Dad in Badd’s Bar & Grill after their Mom passed, and he completely took over when his Dad passed 3 months ago….But their Dad’s Will has just been read, and the condition for inheriting their money is they all have to live in their Alaskan hometown for a year and help Sebastian with the bar….So they start arriving….
Dru Connelly was raised by her former marine drill instructor father, who’s also a cop, after her Mom left them both for a biker……Dru never had girlfriends, had been with her fiancée for 4 years….On their wedding day, she accidentally catches him with one of her bridesmaids….and she’s decides she can’t stay in Seattle…So, she pays the pilot of a seaplane to take her anywhere…and he takes her to Ketchikan, Alaska….And when she walks into Badd’s still in her wedding dress, wet and muddy, with red, swollen eyes, Sebastian is not just drawn to her, he decides to help her….
I liked this book…Sebastian and Dru are hot together, and I can’t wait to read about all of Sebastian’s hot brothers…..
There’s just something about the jilted bride trope that has always spoken to me. And it has a sexy man in Alaska. (Honestly, it’s been a while since I read this, but I LOVE the Badd Brothers. I’m trying. to save up moolah to read the rest, haha!) I’m afraid I’ll give away too much–so just read it.
I’m ambivalent about the main characters. I’m not sure if I really liked them. In my opinion the author made Sebastian dumb. No one is that unintelligent about simple technology in this century. It too, away from his hotness. I was even less fond of Dru. I found her to be immature. If she was so heartbroken after Michel did what he did why was she having sex with another man a complete stranger. What the hell is wrong with her and she’s swanky by walking around in nothing but a t shirt with 8 men around. 8 strangers. Im not opposed to insta love but it would have been nice if this was at least a little realistic. I don’t understand the brothers relationships. I have brothers and I don’t recall them every fighting and causing physical injuries like these brothers The story didn’t get much better for me. It wasn’t bad but it didn’t captivate me either. It was average. I’m have the second book in the series but I don’t know if I want to bother reading it. Until next time y’all happy reading.
Just love this author!!!
I really liked the story of Dru and Sebastian. Just didn’t like the the abrupt ending.
