I’m Harlow Grace, the newest, hottest face of Hollywood sex appeal, the woman every man wants and every woman wants to be… and I’m running away. I need an escape. I need to get away from the pressure, find somewhere I won’t be hounded at every step—an impossible thing to ask when I’m on billboards everywhere, from LA to Laos, Japan to Jakarta, Sydney to Siberia. So, I buy a yacht and hide out … out in the most obscure, remote, and unexpected place I can think of: Ketchikan, Alaska.
Instead of a peaceful vacation, however, what I find in Ketchikan is trouble. The kind of trouble that’s six-plus feet of nerdy hotness I can’t resist. I mean, who could? He’s a genius with no idea how attractive he is, an enigma of contradictions: awkward yet confident, fascinating and flirtatious, yet aloof and evasive of physical touch.
He’s utterly and deliciously sexy in every way—and oh, so innocent.

I can recite all of The Iliad and The Odyssey in the original Greek. I can do advanced mathematics in my head and memorize entire books with ease. By the time I graduated high school I had been scouted by several international soccer teams and recruited by think tanks, the NSA, and the CIA.
All of which is totally useless when a woman like Harlow Grace is standing in front of me, trying to talk to me, flirting with me, touching me. She’s Helen of Troy—a woman with a face that could launch a thousand ships, a woman wars are fought over.
It turns out she’s not just beautiful—she’s famous. A Hollywood sex symbol. A superstar known all over the world…
And yet somehow she’s interested in me?

Wow! Great work. I have a friend on the autism spectrum and this was so very accurate on the touch thing!
Enjoyed this book enough to write down her name for further selections! I like the whole series of the Badd Brothers!!
I LOVE all the Badd brothers! But this youngest brother pulls on my heart strings. But it, you won’t be diappoiinted
I still recommend it, but Xavier is my favorite Badd and while I like the premise of the story I guess I just wanted more…still worth reading!
Not much of a book.
I have loved all of this series but this one was especially well done and dealt with relevant subject matter. Not everyone is perfect and this story kept me riveted. Good job!
When the Wilders said, “Best book we’ve written”, they were being modest. It’s the epitome of heart, heat, and home.
Badd Boy not only marks their 100th book, it brought the Badd Brothers series to full circle.
Xavier Badd, is the youngest of eight. He’s the smartest of the clan, the most sensitive and perceptive. While he struggles to understand some of the norms of society, he’s also has to learn trust. Xavier knows he can count on his family, but he’s a “Badd”, and there are just some things they’re learning as family as well.
I. Loved. This. Book. Badd Boy is packed with so many emotions. I love how all the brothers and their significant come together now that changes need to be made. Particularly, I love how protective they are when Xavier needs them the most. Then again, we’ve reached the part in this series that all eight have found their place in life, so it’s no surprise that Xavier proves that he is truly a Badd Boy through and through.
I want to say more about how this book gave me all the feels, but I won’t. Read it yourself, especially if you have followed this series. The Wilder team are definitely giving their readers what they want. Read and find out!
Loved the entire Badd series. Each book stand alone entertaining. Reading all books in the series a real treat.
This book. This is hands down my favorit book in the series! The author did truly, in my opinion, save the best Badd Boy for last!
There were so many things I loved about this book. Xavier’s “quirks” were endearing to him. I loved that Low told him on several occasions to be yourself and not try to be anyone else. That those quirks are a part of him and she loved him just the way he was.
Their love was undeniable, though they both tried. It’s that bone deep kind of love that everyone is looking for and hoping to find. The just fit. Two different pieces of the same puzzle.
I had a hard time not wanting to kick Claire’s ass throughout most of this book. I thought she was rude and disrespectful. But I never really warmed up to her in previous books either so take that as you want.
Overall I thought this book was incredible. Don’t be ashamed to be who you are, who you are meant to be. On the spectrum or not, you be you.
Great story!! At first I asked why a famous actress? I kept reading (of course ) this series has me hook, line, and x-rated fishing. Got to love all the characters. She just got him. All his differences. Made him the man for her to love . And he got the best girl for him.
It’s really difficult to pick from certain given attributes for Badd Boy by Jasinda Wilder, because it’s way beyond any of these choices. The whole Badd Brothers series is absolutely fantastic, but I was riveted by Badd Boy especially. The brothers are, for the most part, loud, brash, in your face, raw, and totally unadorned, but they burrow under your skin like a tick and make you love them! What more can you ask from a book than to fall in love with the characters? A sure sign of great writing!
Absolutely loved Xavier Badd and by far my favorite Badd brother!! This was such an emotional read that I was captivated by the story I couldn’t put it down. This book will have you laughing, crying and swooning but most of all it will have you devouring page after page of this incredible love story!
great end of the series, great fun read.
Fun
Wonderful addition to the series
This is only the 2nd Badd boy story I have read and I am hooked!!
Xavier is so sweet and innocent and sexy! Harlow and Xavier have such amazing chemistry and she is so patient with his quirks. Their love story is just the sweetest I have read in a while.
Harlow just wanted to get away from her crazy, stressful lifestyle and needed a break. She finds herself in Ketchikan to get some R&R. Little did she know that she would literally fall in love with a Badd brother.
“the sound of her laughter could be recorded and sold as music.”
I have to read all of the Badd brothers stories now, I totally love this family!!
While I enjoyed all the Badd boy’s stories over the past year, I thought no one could top the twins. However, I was terribly mistaken. This journey Jasinda has taken us on over the past 8 books has been such a fun and exhilarating one, to see each of the Badd brother’s lives unfold one after one and intertwine throughout all the books. You keep getting glimpses of the other characters and it’s truly made this a journey and not just reading another book. While I am sad to see this group of dominate, sexy and brooding brothers in Alaska come to and end, Jasinda couldn’t have ended this in a better way!
In the last book, Badd Boy, we get Xavier’s story. The youngest of the bunch, at just 20 years old, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this story. Young immature males are what immediately comes to mind. However, that is not what we are given! We are given this smart and very intellectual man who surprised me at every turn. His instant connection with Low, or Harlow, was so fierce that I thought my phone was going to catch on fire. Her curiosity in him is a very interesting thing to behold. She is intrigued by him from the moment he rescues her, and their journey from there is sweet starting off, but soon picks up to a point of heart palpitations.
I am truly sad to see this all end, but am so grateful I was able to go on this journey with all these characters throughout the series!
I have read every book in this series; it’s ALMOST a love hate thing. Some I’ve liked quite a bit others not so much; but this one I LOVED.
Xavier fascinates me to no end and is a complete puzzle. There is so much going on with him at any given time you’re never sure what is going on. At 50 percent I was crying
A few examples of his thought process…’ I had always been under the impression that a sports bra was intended to minimize the size and weight of a women’s breasts during exercise, to reduce the impact of kinetic energy upon the body during movement…’
Thoughts like these made me love him and the book. Harlow is perfect for him and her character is strong enough that she isn’t totally lost in the book; but this is clearly all about Xavier.
H/h, flow, storyline and some insight make this a five star read.
I absolutely adore this series – Easily one of the top 5 series I’ve ever read. The Badd Brothers are truly everything you could ever dream up in a book boyfriend and their stories are all amazing. But without a doubt the author has outdone herself with Xavier, the youngest of the brothers, story. It’s so touching and endearing that you can’t help but fall face first for Xavier and his “uniqueness”.
Xavier Badd is a genius who has trouble handling most “normal” social behavior situations. He spend his time with his books, building/selling his robots and of course cooking at Badd’s Bar and Grill and totally avoids personal relationships of any kind outside of his brothers and their women. That is until he meets Low, the most beautiful woman he’s ever laid eyes on. But past experience and his “uniqueness” having him running scared when Low starts to show an interest in him.
Low, better known as Grace Harlow the Hollywood actress, has escaped the camera and paparazzi and had docked her yacht in Ketchikan, Alaska. That is where she meets Xavier Badd. He fascinates and challenges her. But most of all he likes her for herself since he honestly has no clue who she really is. But can she break through his barriers she doesn’t understand?
Xavier and Low’s story is tender and heartwarming yet heartbreaking at the same time. The socialite and socially inept are worlds apart yet fiercely drawn to each other. The story will have you smiling and wiping at tears as you follow their journey. But trust me it’s an amazingly written journey that you absolutely do not want to miss. I highly recommend reading the entire Badd series, as just like Badd Boy, you will not be disappointed and the storylines just keep getting better and better as the series rocks on. 2 Resounding Thumbs Up for the series and book #8 – very well done!
You know when you read a book & it gives you such intense feelings that gives you chills because you can relate to the main character so well?
This is that book!
I’m a total BADD groupie for these brothers. Every book Author Jasinda & Jack Wilder have given us in this series has captured my heart. All can be read as standalone but believe me, once you start any one of the brothers books, you will want to get to know all of them!
Xavier… He is totally the best for last in this series.
He is the youngest of the brothers at the ripe age of 20 but his intellectual mind and his raw and honest heart will have you claiming him as your favorite.
When Xavier meets Low, his world of knowledge is thrown into a loop of highly emotionally charged feelings and romantic words that will make any woman swoon 100x hard when meeting him.
Loved the build up and anticipation of finding out if Xavier can conquer his fears that he has held within himself since a young age.
Go get this book and be ready to take another fabulous ride on the BADD side!
5 popped!
