I was a Sixty-Eight Whiskey–a combat medic. So when I hear someone shout “MEDIC ” training just kicks in. It’s automatic, immediate. I don’t think I even saw the guy whose leg I tended to, not really. All I saw was him. Zane Badd. His tuxedo fit him like he’d been sewn into it, and his eyes reflected the fury and the hardness of a combat veteran, but when he looked at me, he just…softened. By … By the time I had his brother patched, Zane and I were both covered in blood, and I knew I had to have him.
The trouble with Zane isn’t getting him, it’s keeping him.
And the trouble with me is, even if I could hold onto a man like Zane, I wouldn’t know what to do with him. It’s not in my nature, and if life has taught me anything, it’s to not trust anyone, least of all men like Zane. He’s a warrior through and through, hard, muscular, gorgeous, tenacious, and yet oddly tender toward me.
Experience and instincts are telling me to run from Zane Badd as fast as possible, but my heart and my body are telling me to stay, to hold on and not let go. Yeah, it’s a conflict as old as humanity itself, but it’s brand new for me.

Life as Navy SEAL doesn’t exactly prepare you for normality. Yeah, I can tend bar and goof off with my seven crazy brothers, but what do I do when the woman of my dreams–dreams I didn’t know I’d had until I saw her–explodes into my life like a frag grenade? I’m trained to attack, to win, to survive at any costs, and figuring out what to do about a woman like Amarantha Quinn will take every scrap of tenacity and courage I possess. Combat is easy, it turns out, in comparison to facing your own fears and scars.
And then sometimes, just when you think you’ve got it finally figured out, fate throws you a screwball and sends everything FUBAR.

I’m really liking these Badd brothers. Like, a lot. I think the reason why I like these two books so much is that all the characters feel real. It’s fun watching their relationship grow and navigate in new territories on both sides. And good lawd this is another hot one! Zane and Mara are scorching between the sheets! Yeah, I’m realllly liking these guys. I’m really looking forward to more.
Hot!
A great series so far.
Love This series !
I really liked this book. The characters were amazing. Very pleased with the story line.
Such a fun read with sympathic characters and silly plot, light hearted read
Good read, well written and enjoyable, not to mention steamy.
I loved the first book in this series ‘Badd Motherf*cker’ but not this one as much. All in all, a very good read, Badd brother Zane, tough former Navy Seal, and Mara, a former Army medic, seem to be perfect for each other however I just didn’t feel the connection with these characters.
it was a good read!
Love the Badd series!!
I loved the characters in this book, a steamy romance.
great series
OMG!! Love this book and the author!!
If you want a book where the girl gets the bad boy…. or so he seems….
Don’t judge a book by its cover
Love, love, love Jasinda Wilder books. There’s always a good story…..all the best elements…..drama, laughter, romance, and HEAT! I especially enjoy when she starts a series….I quickly get invested in the characters and am always needing more! Mara and Zane were great, and now I’m excited to meet the rest of the Bad Boys!
HOT! Loved how the story abd so many dips and turns. Read it and you will not be disappointed.
I love the Badd brothers!
How true to life it is
The Badd Brothers are BACK!! This time with the sexy, badass Navy SEAL Zane Badd.
What happens when two sexually charged soldiers come together for one night? No attachments. No strings. No second time. Just one night, then walk away. Except, the chemistry is intense. The connection is different and nothing they ever experienced before. Does one walk away or give it a go and see what happens?
Zane Badd is the second oldest of the Badd brothers. Former Navy SEAL who, like his brothers, is back home to help with Badd Bar and Grill as stipulated in his father’s will. He’s not here to get involved romantically with any one, that is until Mara Quinn walks in at his brother’s wedding. Mara, former Army Medic, a fan of “let’s do this once and we’re done”. She has no problem giving her body all the pleasure it deserves. The heart? That’s hers to protect.
I. LOVED. BaddAss!! Loved it. I want to go to Ketchikan, Alaska now and run into one of this Badd brothers. I loved the banter between the brothers, but I loved the challenges that the main characters present to one another. Most of all, Ms. Wilder gives some REALLY good heat.
If you’ve never read a Wilder gem, here’s a few tips:
*Expect the unexpected. Even if it’s part of a series, each story has a unique signature.
*Pay attention to the supporting characters. Ms. Wilder creates them for more than just supporting the current story.
*Last and certainly not the least, tissues and fresh undies. Ms. Wilder will tear both your heart and panties. She’s that good.
My suggestion, read Badd Motherf*cker before reading BaddAss. You’ll appreciate the story more. As for recommending this book, this is a MUST read!!
I was bored, I didn’t like the women much, they were a little gross.
