The white dress. The diamond ring. The full church. The . . . missing groom.Molly Miller had become a cliché when Jackson Davis left her at the altar, but she’d crawled back from the heartbreak and embarrassment and was living her dream of running a successful eatery in San Francisco.Well, good riddance. She didn’t need Jackson, or any other man in her life. She had Molly’s, her restaurant, she had … Molly’s, her restaurant, she had her customers, and she finally had found some happy.
Who cared that she had unanswered questions as to why Jackson had left? It didn’t matter. He’d gone and that was that. Moving on, grinding out one day in front of another, baking her way through her emotions and generally moving on with her life.
Until . . . one early morning Jackson walked through the front door of her restaurant.
And her whole world imploded.

Elise Faber’s books have become a one click purchase for me. It’s gotten to the point that I don’t even read the blurb anymore – I literally blink and boom, her book is on my Kindle! The Billionaire Club Series is one of my favorite ways to sit back and relax, with a book I know I’m going to enjoy, filled with sexy, smooth talking alpha men and their sassy, spunky, hold no prisoners women. Bad Wedding is Molly and Jackson’s second chance love story. I was prepared to really dislike him from the word go because any man who leaves a woman at the alter without explanation is dead to me but alas, Jackson won me over and had me rooting for him to get his girl back. A sexy happily ever after read with an element of suspense that will have you finish this book in one sitting. TBR and Enjoy.
Four years ago Molly was stood up on her wedding day by the love of her life, Jackson. Now he’s back, standing in front of her telling her she’s in danger because of his association with her and his involvement with the Russian mafia. Can Jackson protect Molly while trying to prove to her that he loves her and only left to protect her?
I enjoyed this book, even if it seemed a bit rushed – Molly and Jackson were having hot and heavy sex on her desk within a few hours of Jackson arriving. That being said, it was a fun story, well written with some suspense and plot twists I didn’t see coming. I would recommend.
I love Bad Wedding. There is so much chemistry between Molly and Jackson. You understand why Molly struggles with letting Jackson back in and why Jackson did what he did as you read. This one is slightly different the the other Billionaire’s Club books. But I loved it so. You get a little danger and a whole lot of love. You get to see strong women kick a little butt and see Molly show so much strength. I couldn’t get enough of this one.
Faber has a way for dragging a reader into the emotion. It’s at times overpowering but somehow it works. Molly and Jackson are proof of that. Bad Wedding is an acquired taste. It puts the heart on blast with surprise revelations, heartbreaking upheavals and tempting romance. Love is examined from all angles. The good, the bad, the ugly and somehow manages to come out on top.
Get ready to go on an epic roller coaster of emotions as this second chance romance unfolds. I felt for Molly but she really didn’t need a lot of sympathy. This woman was spunky and that served her very well. I really liked her. As for Jackson, he has layers and secrets that must be exposed before you can truly get to see the real him, begin to warm up to him and start rooting for him to get another shot at a HEA with Molly. All together a very fun read that is filled with tension, emotion, drama, suspense, danger, action and heat. This is my independent, impartial review.
Love this series. I also totally love every book that Elise Faber has written. The Billionaire’s Club is great, and Bad Wedding was just perfect. A second chance romance with a bit of a twist. Super fun, especially when you take all the luscious baking that Molly does, makes you want to find a bakery and get a Lemon Poppy Seed muffin. Such a great book.
This was a suspenseful and unique story. It’s a second chance romance but it was definitely different than what I was expecting. It’s called Bad Wedding, but the wedding isn’t actually the focal point.
4 years ago Jackson left Molly on their wedding day. He broke her heart, but at the same time, him leaving gave her the strength to make herself into a strong, successful, independent woman. Now he is back and finally explaining what happened to cause him to leave her at the alter.
Full of drama, suspense and some seriously HOT chemistry, get ready to be taken on a ride.

I love second chance romances, especially when the heroine is feisty. And Molly was definitely one feisty lady. She knew who she was and what she wanted and she wasn’t afraid to speak up. It hadn’t always been that way. Four years ago she had been devastated and broken. She was finally in a great place when her past came barreling in. Jackson had been a broken man himself. However he was also a man in love who found himself in a bad predicament. The only way he could keep Molly safe was to break both of their hearts.
I find that each book in this series just seems to get better and better. Molly has been in the background of a lot of the past books. So I was excited to see she was getting her own book. I adored Jackson and Molly. I loved watching them get to know one another again, even under hard conditions. I especially loved watching Jackson develop into the person he needed to be in order to fully love Molly. While there was a bit of drama it was very low key compared to these two falling in love again. I’m so glad they finally got their HEA. Now I look forward to the two new books hinted at in the epilogues. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*
I really liked the premise of this book. Four years ago, Jackson left Molly at the alter. She pulled up her bootstraps, built a successful business, and carved out a life for herself. One day, Jackson walks into her bakery and wants her back. There is a lot of “oh baby” and “oh honey” and then they are having sex in the back of her store. The reunion was far too quick for me and it made me lose all interest in the book. I have a lot loaded on my Kindle and decided to move on to something else.
Heart break and fear are what Jackson us had to suffer for 4 years after leaving his fiancé t the alter. Now, seeing his love in danger again he is barging back into her life, consequences be dammed.
Molly was heart broken 4 years ago, but like a phoenix she rose from the fire and bloomed into a stronger. Now facing the man that caused her heart ache and learning the reason why brings back feelings she thought she had overcome.
This book was very emotional very powerful and yes very suspenseful. A perfect read to keep you glued to your reader!
Jumping into this read, I liked the direction it was heading: tarnished relationship, left at the alter, loved one targeted by the mafia after a deal goes wrong, potential second chance romance before hitting the 18% where I was left WTFing with the random ass sex scene I was not expecting.
During their reunion, there was barely any groveling or talk of reconciliation before the characters randomly kiss that eventually led them to have hot office sex. It escalated so fast, I was completely thrown by it that I couldn’t help but actually laughed out loud. It was so out of the blue considering the main characters have gone four years without seeing one another and to then be in each other’s presences for a mere few hours before that all happened?! Yeah no, I wasn’t feeling that.
That said, if we over look that particular scene ‘Bad Wedding’ was a decent nice second romance filled with hot steamy scenes, scorching chemistry, endless drama, and the perfect amount of suspense.
