This was wild! It was funny and sweet, and forbidden, and oh so sexy! How could someone resist Katerina. It’s explosive and I couldn’t get enough.

What to do when you fall for your teammates sister? That is the big dilemma for Derek on how he feels for Katerina, will instant attraction lead to more and should he risk it all for possible love. Great plot and supporting characters loved all the backstory and bringing in characters from previous books in this series. Liked the approach to getting help for alcoholism and learning to ask for help.

I love these guys. It doesn’t matter which team they play on, it’s still magic to watch a Player fall for his forever. (And I’m using “player” in every meaning of the word.) Derek has gotten to an age where the hot and cold running puck bunnies just don’t interest him anymore. Katerina has spent most of her life giving up everything to make her brother’s hockey career a possibility. As it turns out, her brother will be the thing that brings this unlikely pair together, and he just might be the thing that keeps them apart too. Katerina’s so strong and feisty; I loved her independence. Derek is so sweet and everything he does is for the good of his team. It broke my heart when he got backed into a corner he couldn’t see his way out of. I adored the way this story ends, and I never want to see the end of the author’s hockey series.
